[Resolved]  Airtel Delhi — Fraudulent Practices and False Commitments by Airtel

This is regarding False commitment and Fraudulent Practices done by Airtel. My Airtel No is[protected]Delhi). During the month of Oct, I did not receive the bill of my landline bill. After waiting for few more days when I called Airtel they told that bill has been delivered and they have the POD. When I requested them to send the copy of POD to me as well, they just refused my requested. After I contacted the Airtel Nodal office, the Nodal Officer commited that the copy of Bill should reach me in 7 days, But even after 15 days I have not received the PODs. This is a clear indication of fradulent signatures done on POD which is a LEGAL OFFENCE DONE BY AIRTEL.

I even wrote a letter to Airtel Appellate Authority but they are hardly bothered about the matter.

Then in the following month there was a excess bill sent to me. After following up for nearly 3 months, I was commited an adjustment of Rs 5066/- (Letter was also given to me on Airtel letter head). But it was shocking to get my next month bill. The committed adjustment is missing from the bill. When I contacted Airtel again, I was asked to furnish the proofs of adjustment.

It is a SHAME ON AIRTEL to ask a customer to provide with the proof which was given by Airtel on its own Letter Head.

Airtel — fraudulent practices

When we check our balence on airtel phone, then along with the balance there's also one ad written in which they tell u about new schemes,

looking forward to the ad that was "recharge with rs. 144 n u'll get local airtel to airtel talktime worth 700 minute airtel to airtel, 367 minute will be credited on time and remaining 333 minutes after 3 days". I recharged my phone with rs. 144 and didnt got any talktime,

and when I called customer care, they said to me that this scheme is valid only if you recieve a similar message in your inbox. I would like to complaint

"that if they are displaying this message as a general information then why is this scheme only for selected people, if it is a general message then this scheme should also be for all people, and if they wish to give benefit to few selected people only then they should send message to those selected people's inbox directly without displaying this message as a general information".

by doing such practice Airtel is doing fraudulent practices, i didnt got any benefits yet and i call daily at their customer care and they dont solve this problem they rather say from next time dont consider such messages.

AirTel — Fraudulent Practices in Service

I have lodged multiple complaints to Airtel Customer Service for my broadband not working since May 30th 2011.
Till date it is not resolved, it’s more than 1.5 months. Many series of complaints have been logged on the same matter but only fake promises are made and no resolution given.
The list of complaints I have logged in the last 1.5 months for the same issue:
47065576, 48543356. I have lodged various complaints between 30 May to 7th July 2011. I have contacted the front end and back end customer support: Lankesh from Bangalore region (back office). Raghunath the field engineer for our area (Kasavanahalli, SJR Verity). Multiple visits no resolution. Many SLAs broken and no resolution given.

Without providing resolution they have closed the complaints multiple times and now asking for bill.
I have made many calls to customer service which have been longer than 20 min and finally it will be put on hold and the line would get disconnected. Now is that the way Airtel addresses its customer care. Zero Ethics and Fraudulent behavior.

My complaints were closed by the field or back end engineer without resolution - Now that was disgusting and certainly a fraudulent practice by Airtel support engineers. All of this and no resolution yet.
Now the harassment Follows….
I get multiple calls for bill payment - for what should I pay? I have asked for compensation for loss of service availability for last 1.5 months. Complaints lodged but the bills reflect the same service charge for Broad Band service? For what? Beyond the service reversal charges they should pay for the calls made and the amount of annoyance and torture we go through.

To worsen the situation my land-line is also not working 14th July 2011.

UNETHICAL AIRTEL : STOP HARASSING INNOCENT INDIANS

Before I introduce myself, at the outset, I arrive at the above conclusion, after using the services of multiple telcos in the past encompassing Reliance, Idea and TATA Indicom. No telco have been cheating the customers like you people do. In the process you have been cheating not just the innocent people, but the Government also.
My name is Yathish G and my prepaid mobile number is [protected], Karnataka Circle.
Since last 10 days, you have been deducting charges for unwanted Hello Tunes service WITHOUT my explicit consent. This is complete violation of TRAI regulation.
All my efforts to stop this service through SMS, IVR and personally talking to your customer care have gone in vain. Every time I STOP it, you automatically enable it within few hours and deduct amount from my account WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Moreover this deduction happens at 12 am midnight most of the time. ONLY SICK CHEATERS like you can harass and create mental trauma to innocent people.
It is very clear that you have become the No.1 telco in the country by cheating customers, , earning crores of revenues per day through SUCH fraudlent means.
Above all this, your Customer Care executives including Arun, Bharat , Gangadhar and few other ladies have audacity to disconnect my call in the middle of conversation in order to avoid my questions.
Given the above reasons, it is very much true that AIRTEL as an organisation can be associated with CRIMINAL BAND and BRAND. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED THAT YOU CLAIM TO BE THE BIGGEST TELCO IN THE COUNTRY. JUST BEING BIGGEST DOESN’T SUFFICE, THE BUSINESS PRACTICE SHOULD BE ETHICAL AS WELL.
I had also been using various Airtel services including postpaid and data card services till now. AS A PROTEST against your irresponsible attitude regarding your customers, I am surrendering all the connections today and vouch never to use Airtel Service anymore.
IT IS important that your PR agencies, media relations and especially your Brand Ambassadors (past, present and future) including Sachin, Amitabh Bachan, Saif – Kareena, A R Rahman, Karthik, Saina Nehwal, Pawan Kalyan and others also know what kind o[censored]nethical company they represent, putting their reputation at stake (I am sure they are currently aware).
We youth will launch a nationwide campaign though electronic, print and social networking media, especially focusing on customers (mostly innocent people unaware of your swindling practices) creating awareness about the same. This is absolutely necessary for the reason that fighting such cases against you individually doesn’t make any sense. Entire nation representing majority of your harassed customers should fight against you, AS A UNITED FORCE, seeking legal remedy against your criminal activities though legal recourse.
HEY CROOKS, STOP HARRASSING INNOCENT PEOPLE.
