[Resolved]  Airtel — Getting miss call from unknown number starting from 54321

Dear All,

Yes, I was facing the same problem and stumbled across this solution and found that my Airtel Account has the friends chat activated. I had this deactivated by sending SMS to 121 (you can get the details in airtel website on how to deactivates VAS) and since then all these missed calls from numbers starting with 54321XXXXXXXX stopped.

^ I have a similar problem. So i checked my Value Added Services, and guess what! I don't have any activated. Yet I receive calls from these numbers. When I pick them up, there is no response from the other side.

I am raghavendra s m I have air el prepaid sim .I am getting miss call &calls from[protected] .Call receive also no bady cont speak .I never called because the no was start from Pakistan country code &it should be a prudent call. Pleas should not react this type of calls.

I have taken a new Airtel number last 3 months ago and now am getting unwanted calls from these number from last 1 month they just call &
they are not talking am bit worried please look into this & do the needful.[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],...⇄

Airtel provides a chat service to their customers, through this service people can make new friend across the India and can contact anyone without reveling their identity. In this process who ever want to chat with some one gets an ID from airtel and using that id he/she can call you or message you and their number will not get displayed. Instead, that id will be displayed to you. Your number might be registered on this service. So, all you need is to contact your customer care executive and asked them to remove your number from that service. Your number might be automatically registered if you have ever used mobile portability service.

Another tip to get rid from such problem is to activate DND service i.e DO NOT DISTURB. With this service you wont be able to get any call/sms from company i.e you might not receive offer messages from your service provider.

Even im getting calls from this number[protected] and most of them are missed calls.And when i pick them up it gets cut.Im fed up with this

Hi Friends,

I also received Message (below) from this Numbers.

[protected]-----SMS[protected][protected] "Hi Kaise Ho ?"
[protected]-----SMS[protected][protected] "Kahan Par Ho ?"

In all numbers (incoming) - 54321 - is Common.

If any further information any body got, please let me know in my below number.
