Airtel Digital TV — Harassment by service team for my request for new remote

After using your services for more then 5 years in Delhi & mumbai, now i feel cheated.

On June 8th, 2013, i registered a request to your call centre for purchase of new remote, since, my old was not working. I was sent a distributor list & was asked to buy directly. I called each of them & they all refused having any remote. I visited airtel gallery in Thakur Village, Kandivali for help. The executive there helped me log a request with customer care.

The request no was 30969821 with assurance of resolution in 24 hrs. I gota call on Monday after 48 hrs to begin with, that too to say no stock available till tuesday, 11th June, 2013. I was fine with that & agreed to pay the 200 + 125 INR for the same. This guy reported to the complaint request saying that customer is not ready to pay, which i was completely unaware of. Then I got no info till 12th June, when i got a message saying the issue has been resolved, which was a complete shocker & call is closed.

Without any resolution, the customer care refused to help & reported call is closed. When i again called the customer care, they saud they will take appropriate action & gave me a new request number after i spoke to some Sr. Supervisor Mr. Manoj. Request number[protected]. Again assurance of 24hrs. But again no help, apart from a lady calling on 13th morning to ask, whether any solution was given?

Further, in the evening 13th june, 2013,again i spoke to Sr. Supervisor Mr. Arvind, who committed 24 hrs with assurance till 4pm on 14th jun. Request number[protected]. He stated he will personally call for the escalation. Still nothing happened & in the evening today,14th June at 6 PM when i spoke, he refused to help saying it's raining in Mumbai from last 3 hrs & we cannot help you anymore.

Was it raining from last 6 days?

Is it so hard to get a remote from you guys. I have been metally harrased & all this while money is getting deducted from the account.

After getting frustrated, i requested for disconnection & request was logged in 5 mins straight.

I would like to get all my money refunded back along with the extra balance on this account.

I am completely fed up & would request you, without frustrating me any more please remove all equipments from my house & refund me the money for this equipment & the balance amount.

I have made my mind to log a complaint in consumer forum against Airtel.

Airtel DTH — Harresment from Airtel Customer Care

Hi,

Sorry to say Airtel DTH karnataka is giving worst service I ever get by any service provider in any area. I recently shifted from Hyderabad to Bangalore, have annual subscription for Airtel DTH (My biggest mistake), initially struggled for getting installed at my new place but that doesn't happen till date.
On the top of that they added salt on my wounds by changing it now my balance is showing negative. Since one month I am struggling to change it back to original till date I have no luck.
Customer Service of Airtel is pathetic, customer care executive doesn't have any vaild information and every customer care executive have different version of solution.
I need email-id or telephone number of top notch management of Airtel DTH to contact them and inform them how their executive giving mental touture and harressment to the customer.
Please help me in filling case against Airtel DTH in consumer court.

If any airtel representative reading this, please do something otheriwse I will drag this to news and consumer court.

Hello,

I want to bring to your kind notice that on 12th Aug 2010 I recharged my account for Rs. 5490/- to upgrade my normal STB to HD DVR STB and I had been allotted Service Request Ref No 3547712 for the same. Now till date my STB has not been upgraded.

I received fake calls from your executives at regular intervals that they will change the same in a day or two but it never happened. I also called your helpline number numerous times but all in vein. It’s my humble request to please check my account for no of calls I made to your helpline. Your executives always simply put me on hold and than disconnect the call. Otherwise also, they never took my complaint seriously and always promise me to change my STB in 24 hours but as usual it never happened. If you don’t believe me, please check all call recording for reference.

I also got one sms from your side mentioning above request no and for further assistance I can contact at [protected]. Now, this number always remains either busy or on call waiting. Once I got lucky and one person pick up this phone and after listening to my problem, as usual I got the same answer that my STB will definitely be changed with in 24 hours and once again as usual it never happened. I’ve even used your Online Query / Request / Complaint Registration Form for complaint but nothing happened as usual. This time I am using e-mail and hope this time, someone responsible in Airtel would understand how a common man being harassed by their executives.

I am so sick of Airtel. I bought its STB after using its mobile service for very long but never thought this kind of poor customer service. Please once again it’s my humble request to kindly check all call centre recording for reference and to look in to the matter personally to resolve my issue.

Airtel — Harrasement on name of providing service

I have also face the same issue , Took the Airtel connection after 3 month we shifted to another placed , as they had promised they should have shifted my broadband connection in 3 days but for 15 days they keep saying they are facing some technical issue and they will do it same at last shamelessly they come up the truth that they can't shift so i should apply for new connect , how shameless they are .i dun know even if they see there face after waking up in morning , but i did mistake again and applied for airtel broadband connection , this time they took my money and didn't even gave the connection the time they promised , and its been already 9 days and today they said it will take another 3-4 days , i will fool to trust them again , as i have already fooled myself by deciding to take Airtel connection now i have asked for refund of my amount they saying it will take 20 days but seeing the comments i don't think they going to pay me back ,

I guess Airtel has started new business to keep themselves alive in business i.e by cheating the people taking away money which are earned by 10 times hardship then what they are doing for earning , I suggest they should start begging on road instead od cheating people atleast they won't have to bear the curse of the people which they recieving now ,

I am so irritated that today i am going to crush my airtel simcard and DTH connection also , i don't want to see anything associated with Airtel

Message to Airtel : - Money is not everything , Live with some dignity .
Today i also i checked with the sales person here in RT nagar but i see his attitude quite as he is not picking up my call or even if pick up, cut the call saying he will call me after 5 min and that 5 min has not over yet, this has been repeated 3 times .

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — HARASSMENT

i usually dont prefer calling customer care but I need to mention the most most pathetic service provider award goes to AIRTEL DIGITAL TV. I have been following with them for rellocation of Dish from May 22nd 2011 and today its 1st of july 2011 and no engineer has come till date. As if the engineer is coming walking from andaman nikobar. they have taken more than 4, 500 rupee from me and still not given me desired package. There is this employee so called supervisor called Navin. i really dont know what people have seen in him while recruiting him. He is good for nothing, and just keep on assuring customer. i sincereing SUGGEST DONT GO FOR AIRTEL DTH.

Airtel DTH — Harassment by Airtel

Dear Mr. Ajai,

I did not had an option but to write to you regarding pathetic and disturbing post installation customer service. We have a HD recorder DTH connection that we have taken recently on June 17th. After multiple calls to callcentre, one of the technicians dropped in to look at the problem of poor signal level. He observed that a damaged dish was installed and he promised to send someone for replacement the next day. Thus we have again embarked on a journey of calling up and writing to customer care everyday.

It has been more than 15 days and there is absolutely no resolution in sight.

Subsequently I have searched the internet to find out contact details of the person this can be escalated. I was shocked to read similar problems being faced by your customers and the extremely poor post installation service by Airtel DTH. Shock is more from the fact that a leading company like Airtel does not have processes in place to help harassed customers.

May I request your goodself to direct your team to resolve the problems being faced by us.

Airtel — Harashment with the service

I AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UNHAPPY WITH THE AIRTEL AS THE SYSTEM ITSELF IS SUCH THAT NOBODY SEEMS TO BE BOTHERED ABOUT THE CUSTOMER GRIEVANCE AND U PEOPLE HAVE TAKEN ME FOR A RIDE AND MADE BE A SCAPEGOAT HAVING BEEN WITH AIRTEL AND MAKING THE PAYMENTS ON TIME, i was started complaining about the network from the first month when i started using Airtel. I was not getting the network neither in my room nor at my office. Then whats the use o[censored]sing such service.

ALL IN VAIN AS MY GOING TO THE AIRTEL HEAD OFFICE IS OF NO USE TILL DATE, neither i got a call about the issue nor got a mail though the communication persons. I have also try to reach to one of your communication person Ms. Purnima Sethi (purnima.[protected]@airtel.in) by mail i didn't received any feedback from the her side too.

I have also asked for my call details and any any team member from the local distributors for the due bill settlement but still i didn't receive any reply on my issues but yes definitely i will receive a rude call or a notice from the your side .

I have sent the above mentioned matter with my last mail, but still i dint received any answer from any of them.

By considering my complaints regarding the service i got 2-3 calls from your team members. I have shared my issues with them and i have asked for for my bill details as well as one coordinator for the settlement. Still i didn't received any response in this case. Please check with your team. One more thing i would like to add here is i got too more warning mails before my issue get solved regarding the dues.
