[Resolved] Airtel Digital TV — Disconnected service and overcharging | |||
Dear Forum, I have a airtel digital TV, My digital TV account no is: Since past 4 days I am not receiving any reception through airtel set top box. When I tried to get through their customer support I was not able to get through the toll free no 12150. It was only until I dialed through the tolled no [protected] that i got hold of somebody. I dont remember the name of the agent as the call was forwarded 3 times. Finally the person who answered my question quickly responded that there will be reception failure till 12th March due to Sun out age. Before I could probe further the agent Hung up. I again tried calling the Toll free number 12150 and was not able to get anyone. Then when I tried to call on the tolled number, the call connected the agent put me on hold and the call got dropped. I checked the airtel digital TV site and did not find mention of any Issues the customers could face in reception due to Sun outage (see attachment). My neighbor has a TATA Sky connection and is not facing any issue due to sun outage. Also if I dont get reception for N number of days why should I pay for that many no of days and am force to make a payment on the next due date?
