[Resolved]  Airtel — Dissatisfaction with customer service & speed problem in 4G

I have taken airtel 4 G connection in Feb 2013 with the assurance of excellent speed, zero buffering etc.However, in a few days of time, was facing speed issues.Forget about high speed, not been able to connect to LTE network option. Even if i get the connectivity hardly at times, the speed is worse than a 2G. I have called up the customer care at [protected].( complaint no[protected]They said a technical specialist will visit my place shortly to solve this problem.Noone came. After that i have been roaming around in their Park Street, Kolkata branch. Thrice i went. They said someone will visit.Same result. After 3rd time, finally a guy shows up. He said i have exhausted my 6 GB prior to the end of bill cycle date. when i asked how to check online. He didnot have an answer. I checked it myself then in www.airtel.in/applicatons/airteldongle.jsp. I asked at what date will regain the 6GB for the month. He said will check & intimate me later on.But didnot care to revert back.Again i had to visit park street branch for clarification. They said to pay the bill & the 6 GB will be retrieved by 22nd of May. Also said have waived off the late fee as per earlier intimation & i will be intimated shortly regarding the waiver via sms. Neither i got any intimation about the waiver, nor getting the LTE, 4G required speed.I am totally frastrated with this level of customer service and harassment & feel totally betrayed after taking this expensive connection since it did not serve my purpose. AirTel — Dissatisfied with Customer Care

Hi,

There is no network in whole lane in lajpat Nagar 1 . I am facing this problem very badly.
As per the customer care the problem will be solved soon.
But there is no result as such.

AirTel — Dissatisfied by service

I am Komal n i have been using airtel prepaid sim card since past 5 years, but every now n than I get messages regardinf the subscription of various schemes n my balance is deducted.I have complained about it a number of times to the customer care, the query is satisfied than but the same thing is repeated almost every week.I am feeling sick of this now n feel like switching over to some other company's sim.What can I do about it?
I, JATIN GOPAL GALA, THE USER OF [protected] OF AIRTEL. THIS IS TO BRING YOU TO NOTICE ABOUT DEDUCTION OF RS 99 WITHOUT THE USE AGE.
1. I HAD RECEIVED A SMS FORM 54321 AT AROUND 3 AM ON 23TH FEB, 2010 SAYING THAT THE AMOUNT OF RS 99 WAS DEDUCDED FOR SOME GAME.
2. I TRIED OUT TO CALL CUSTOMER CARE BUT FOUND THAT IT WAS INACTIVE.
I REPEATEDLY TRIED TO CALL 121 SERVICE BUT THE ANSWER WAS SAME.
3. NO COMPLIAN NUMBER GIVEN SAME DAY, I VISITED AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE IN CHAKALA, A LADY ASSITED ME, AND CALL CUSTOMER CARE WERE IN A LADY ANSWER THE CALLED TOLD ME THAT IT WAS DEDUCTED FOR SOME GAME. ON ASKING FOR THE COMPLAIN NO .SHE DID NOT GIVE FOR THE SAME, ON FURTHER ARGUMENT SHE GAVE ME THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS AND PHONE NO [protected] (CHERYL, SOME MANAGER), BHARATI AIRTEL, 7TH FLOOR INTERFACE BUILDING NO 7, LINKING ROAD MALAD, MUMBAI 64. AND SAID HE WILL GIVE THE COMPLIAN NUMBER
4. ON CALLING ON THE NO. ITS WAS SWITCH OFF.
5. AGAIN THE SAME LADY CONNECT ME TO SOME HELP LINE NUMBER, WERE IN THE GENTLE MAN ASK ME ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND GAVE ME THE COMPLIAN NO.
COMPLIAN NO. [protected].
THE BALANCE IS NOT REFUND TO MY ACCOUNT YET……..
AIRTEL IS NOT AT ALL PROVIDING THE SERVICE AS PER STANDARDS SET BY OTHER SERVICE PROVIER .
DON’T BUY NEW AIRTEL BCOZ OF POOR SERVICE –CUSTOMER CARE REMAIN TO BE INACTIVE MOST OF THE TIME.
PLS ANSWER ME FOR THE FOLLOWING ISSUE . WAITING FOR UR REPLY
And now even the callsto airtel cystomer care are charged

Hi Sir ,
First of all ,I would like to thank and congratulate the Airtel customer care service team for the pathetic and shameless service that has provided to me since I have converted this number from Pre paid to postpaid.

I have converted my number( [protected]) from pre paid to post paid on the 23 of December 2011 ,
and my billing date is from 26 to 25 (as per the information given to me by the CCE) of every month, so to get my December month bill I had to make countless calls to your customer care which doesn’t seem to be care much about the customers

Please note down the following grievances and revert me with any resolution if you can otherwise let me know the procedure for Mobile Number portability(MNP)

• The bill plan that was given to me was of Rs 99/- rent ,but instead I have been charge with a rent of Rs- 149/-
• Some one time charge of Rs 750/- has been installed on the bill of which I do not have any information
• To address these issues I had to make several call to customer care which did not provide me any resolution but instead made in hold on for like 30 minutes( in one case) , so I want all the call charges pertaining to 121 to be removed till the current date( 09.01.2012)
• I would like to register complaint against Mr Kiran( full name not available, please check the records) and specially Mr Nitin Mane for dissatisfactory service, and demand an explanation for the reason to be kept waiting for so long approx 30 mins and still failing to provide resolution on such a simple issue.

Please address all these issues and make sure they do not repeat in future

Airtel — Highly disappointed and dissatisfied from airtel services

Dear Sir / Madam

I feel highly dissatisfied & disappointed by the Airtel services that despite of paying 14000/- bill all the mobile no.s of Soodsons Industries were barred because the executive did not post the payment in the system in time.

Then after calling customer care again n again the services of 4 no.s were restored.

But all the more annoying is that on mobile no. [protected] & [protected] outgoings are still barred since 15 days.

From mobile no.s [protected] & [protected], I have called 121 customer-care more that 25 times, Visited local Airtel office 5 times & met executives 7 times and called them personally more that 30 times. Also mailed 121 more than 15 times But I feel so disappointed that no one is giving me any solution and now local executives don't even take my call.

The 121 executives says that system shows that both the no.s are working but i actual they are not. I received a call from 121 saying that i should buy new Sim's for both the no.'s, even i replaced the Sim's but still the outgoings did not start. Also local airtel office executives says that the no.s need to be suspended and reactivated again only then the outgoings will be restored.

Customer care always promises to restore services with in 24 hrs but those were all false commitments. Rather to my surprise after every complaint i receive an sms that query has been resolved which hasent been.

In addition to it every time i mail the 121 there is a new executive replying every time without reading the earlier mails and without knowing the history, resulting in no solution.

Its been two days i have been trying calling appellate desk and nodal office but no one is able to reply as they say that the systems are getting upgraded.

I have no idea what these executives are up to. Either they don't have any knowledge or they are not concerned.

I am shocked that how come Airtel can be so much irresponsible towards its customers.

It appears that Airtel neither wants to retain its old customers nor want the new ones.

I think we have made a mistake choosing Airtel.

You have any idea if any Companies no.s are not working then how much business suffers. Whose gonna bear the loss.

I think Airtel just knows how to take bills and grab money from customers pocket but Customer Satisfaction aint its priority.

I am incurring heavy losses due to the poor service of Airtel. Who will bear the loss.

If a customer is facing so much problems, does airtel has no duty towards its customer. Where is that promises, commitments and professional ethics gone which Airtel claims to deliver.
