Dear Sir/Madam,
I requested to airtel customer care executive to activate internet services on my above-mentioned connection.
Customer care executive told me that he has activated the same service and told me to use after 12 hours. in same manners i used the internet on this mobile after period of 12 hours as asked by customer care executive.

When I saw bill it was billed by huge amount due to usage of internet, and it is just because of non activated plan on my mobile. This is happened just because of mistake of that customer care executive or the person who was suppose to activate services on my mobile.

I have made so many calls to Airtel customer care to resolve this issue but no solution from their side they are rigid and offering me a discount of Rs.950/- from excess charged Rs. 1684/-.

I am totally disturbed with them and can't concentrate on my job and getting so many errors in my work due to this unresolved issue. I am feeling very hrashed by them.

Please help me out.

Airtel - Delhi — Excessive billing & services services discontinued

Dear Sir, I have mobile number [protected] from Airtel & have been always paying their bill on time. I have subscribed to their Blackberry Email services since August 2007 with amonthly bill plan of Rs 249/PM. Recently on review of my bill I was surprised to see Rs 499 & Rs 249 both plans of Airtel being charged simultaneously since Aug 07. I brought this to the notice of the Airtel Blackberry support executives & requested them to discontinue the 499 plan since I had not asked for it & did not need it. They discontinued both the bill plans & have not reinstated the service dispite innumerable follow ups with their executives since 19th march 08 till the time of writing this communication on 24th march 08. I am being given several assurances which have urned out to be false & this has been causing me immense harrasment, loss of business & mental torture. The matter may kindly be taken up asking them to ensure the following immediately:
1. Resuming my Blackberry services under the 249 PM plan.
2. Refund of Rs 499 PM charged fraudelently by Airtel.
3. apology in written for the harrasment 7 mental torture extended to me by Airtel executives.

I have a airtel connection from february, 2008. I was not getting the bills from february to my email address(which is the billing address). I was paying the money by verifying the message i'll be getting from Airtel. I've complained about this to Airtel several times. But i didn't got the bills. By this month i got a call from Airtel saying that i'll get a bill of amount 10, 000, which is not a correct amount and i've complaint to Airtel naudal and appalete officers also but they are giving me wrong details. So asked for bills from february to August, 2008 to verify the same. But they are not ready to give those bills also.
With out verifying the bills i cant pay the money, because they are cheating the customers by providing wrong information.

Bharti Airtel — Billing issues with Airtel

I am posting this after being thoroughly fed-up with Airtel's bill delivery services.

I had changed my residence in Jan 2008 and had updated my address with Airtel. Since that time, I have NOT been receiving my mobile bills.

Inspite of not receivibg my bills, I used to take it upon myself to check the amount due and pay airtel in time so that I wouldn't face any inconveniences.

I had logged several requests and complaints with Airtel's customer service team but that was of no help. I used to get responses from them such as:

-The address appears to be incorrect (how then am I reciving mail delivered by India Post?)
-The bill was delivered to a family member (I live alone and do not have any family in Bangalore)

This went on and on for several months. Even complaints to their Nodal Officers and Appellate Officers were of no help.

I the began refusing to pay my bills as I was not getting my invoices. To this airtel retortet by cutting off my calls on the due-date of the bills.

It has now been 10 months since I last saw a invoice from Airtel. I keeps receiving calls from Airtel's collection officers asking about when I plan on paying my bill. To these people I answere that I will pay only if they bill me for it and if I receive that bill.

Paying without receiving invoices is not something that I would want to do as I do not know what I am being charged for and cannot check my bill to see if there has been any incorrect billing.

Message to Airtel: If you want my payment, send me all my invoices from Jan 2008 along with a written apology and a waiver of all the late fees that I have paid you since jan 2008

Airtel Mobile Phone — Excess Billing

Secondly my monthly bills have shot up exorbitantly for the last two months, my average monthly billing has never been more than Rs 1300/- or 1400/- whereas now iam receiving more than Rs 5000/ per month.

The credit limit is Rs4000/- and was never communicated when the credit limit got exceeded and a bill was raised for Rs10914/-
My simple point is what is the meening of credit limit when their is no information when it is exceeded and consumer gets a bill which is very high and the second is their is no rational for the charges .

BHARATI AIRTEL — Tax BAsed Services on Airtel WAP

Rs 10 is deducted whenever I am recharging.Deduction going on next day if there is balance left more than Rs. 10 for Tax BAsed Services on Airtel WAP. The SMS feom the No. 64611010 says that i have subscribed in it. Can't remember.How can I unregister ? MY mobail no. is. +91 [protected]
I am not using Airtel WAP service(Subscription Text Based Services) but message is coming from m.igfun and I am receiving massages coming from 64611010 that 10 Rs is being deducted daily.Kindly immediately stop this service on my mobile phone number [protected] and refund the amount which you have deducted at the earliest.The matter will be taken to higher authorities if you fail to do so within 24 hours

Well I had lodged written complain for services which were never asked and never required were billed and your confirmation that the matter was sorted out. However on receiving the bill in Dec the charges were physically reflecting and I spk to your executive before making payment that is again on 12 Dec. and he confirmed that it was an error and I should make payment less the amount in dispute approx 150.85.

I hv received bill again for Feb and here I am being charged for that amount which is disputed and over & above late fee.

Do you think people hv some much time to keep sorting out such meager problems which you people escalate.

Make sure this doesn't happen in future or else the service provider will be changed.

This is the complaint with regard to wap charges that you have charged without my request
to the extent of Rs.220 and I made a complaint for the same from Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad, AP.
Immediately I have received an answer that reply will be given on[protected].But till date no reply. The last date for bill payment is[protected]. Since last 2 months the same problem is repeating. With
great difficulty I could able to get waiver for the month of January 2009 of Rs. 101/- odd around. Again
for Feb 09 repeated the same. You are causing/creating a type of stress/strain by charging the bill like
above. Hence to-day I paid the bill excluding Rs.220/- Your service has become poor. Employees at
counters are not answering properly. If same continuous, I will discontinue my patronage and fight
against you legally.

I want immediate answer before[protected] which is your last date for bill payment.

My name is Anil Navani and am using an Airtel post paid connection in Mumbai, my cell number is [protected]

I have received a bill of 61, 000/- after returning from my trip to Africa, while I was there I checked with the local service provider about the outgoing and incoming charges on my roaming Airtel Mobile.

Being aware of the high costs of outgoing and incoming calls, I got myself a local sim card and used this for making important calls from there to India.

When I received an SMS from the Airtel Billing dept I called 121 and asked to speak to the senior floor manager, in this case it was a person called Richard Able, I explained him in detail and also he was able to look at my usage details as at that point of time I had not yet received my bill, but he looked at his system and felt that there could be some mistake and assured me that my comlaint was being sent to the concerned department, who did call me a few days ago and told me that they were convinced that the billing was justified.

Any suggestions on how to go forward from here, other than asking the service provider to cancel my subscription with the service provider.

Airtel — Billing issue and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have been using an airtel number [protected] for over a year and a half. From the start Ihave been facing billing issues. In August 2008 I bought an iPhoen from the airttel store and was promised 1 year free GPRS. From September 2008 I left to UK and was back in Jan 2009. I received a bill of 6000 on my return.

I also realsied that the GPRS was being charged every month. After numerous complaints and various service request numbers I received from Airtel I had reached my saturation point when i spoke to the Appealing office adn Nodal officer. NO ONE WERE OF ANY HELP

I then asked for them to send me all my bills from august 2008 and I was told they had record of only the last 3 months bills

I went to an airtels store on bannerghatta road bangalore and was told the floor manager was sleeping as she was unwell. The next day she was busy and the third day the same

I as a scared customer for consequences of non payment of bill paid my bills until April 2009. Post that I asked them to cancel my connection and stopped using the number. I still kept getting calls for non payment of bill

After a point everyone I called from that number started getting calls "we have a courier and this was the secondry number given" or they will call from some credit card company etc.

As a customer who had issues I spoke to everyone possible. I have all the service request number and emails I have sent but I have no reply. I only get an auto response message that someone will call me by bla bla day and some time

I not only beleive no one helped me resolve this but also that the customer service word should be removed from Airtels objectives or marketting stratergy because they DO NOT PROVIDE ANY SERVICE AND THEY QUITE DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS

I beleive for all the inconvenience caused adn the time I have wasted on one phoen bill Airtel should compensate me rather than me having to pay the bill

After all the measured taken I hope this will help me resolve this issue

I had taken Airtel broadband connection on June 2008 under limited plan with Rs 499 rental. My number is[protected]. Till August 2009 I was getting correct bill like 499+Tax ie somewhere about 550 to 600 on a montlhy basis. ie for 15 months everything was normal and suddenly for Sep 2009 my bill was raised to Rs 18000 and they had given some discount of Rs12000 and payable bill was Rs 6700. Also theyhad deducted double payment for my bill of Aug ie Rs 601 twice which again they had adjusted in the excess bill. I had made complaint to Airtel but again for Oct also they had raised another bill for Rs 18000, again some discount and net payable was Rs 6500 and total due was around Rs 13000. When I contacted the rep who had taken the call told me that it is company's policy to convert limited plan memebers to unlimited plan if I am ok to convert they will deduct Rs 11000 and I need to pay only Rs 2000. I didn't agree for the exploitation & now they had disconnected the line and sending mails & persons for collection& disturbing me. I want to take the case to consumer court and should stop such exploitation. Also I avdvise the enitre Indian Population to move away from Airtel, because Airtel become No.1 by cheating hundreds o[censored]s like this.

I had asked to close and discontinue my airtel mobile telephone [protected] before Oct. 2009 but Rental charges have been debited in subsequent bills upto last bill as per details given below:

In Oct. 2009, even though I had told to close my telephone and said that I no more need the telephone, I was called by Airtel and promised that no rental charges will be levied as the free period has been extended by another 6 months. But the promise has not been kept up. Fortunately I had not used the telephone after Oct. 2009. When ever I ring up for refund of excess billing some excuses are given for not doing the right thing.

I understand that all efforts are being made by the largest service provider to retain the customer to keep its no. one position. But in no way it is fair to charge some one for services he does not require and particularly when he has not availed the said services offered to him.

Pl. treat this email as my claim for refund of excess billing and do the needful to credit the full amount in my next bill.

my mobile no[protected] I regreted to say that I was received a sms deducting Rs 30 for airtel radio option on22nd feb 12-30 pm immeadieatly i contacted 121 in person replied that option was given by me on23-1-10 i never given such option though i asked to stop the option now and recredit the amout Rs 30 but i cannot get . i have changed the plan on[protected] in to seconds.I sent more than100 message to 121, 1210, 404.405 876 but I have replied "sorry that was not a valid option, invalid keyword, we are unable to process your request please try later" I was denied to contact in person and played recorded programes.since 12-30 pm 8-00pm After8-00 pm then I have contacted mr venkatesh throug 121 in another cell no.i surprised how its possible to getting connenction atonce. your concern only know the fact. and he replied that is manual problem and asked my complaint and promised to recredit the amout on[protected]. As a valuble customer I felt it much and see my past bussines with your company and solve the problem not to accure in future and do not deduct without getting my option and . And recredit the amt and avoid switch over to another concern with all my friends with regards
