[Resolved]  Airtel — Worst customer care ever

Recently i have called up "Airtel Customer care" to activate 3G service on my cell phone with number([protected]), this is where all the pain started, none of the people in the technical support team doesn't know how to treat a customer and i bet they do not even know their own process, which they are working on.
I told them very clearly that i have activated 3G on my cell phone and downloaded the settings to my mobile and still 3g is not working,so they started saying that i have to switch off and switch on my mobile , which i did and that did not work out, i call them again, i told them check their complaint log where i have registered about my issue, but they do not seem to maintain that, i had to make them understand again about the issue i am facing, so they ask me to recheck the settings and again switch off and switch on, i did the same again, does not work again, i call them again........this whole process got repeated for 3 days and lastly one of the executive has promised me that someone will give me call from their supervisor department for which they have asked me for alternate number, so i provide them my alternate number, but they never turned up a call..........today i called them on my own to get the status, so one guy called "Suresh" gave me manual setting and asked me to switch off and switch on my mobile and check for browsing ,asked me to call him on 12134 number and ask for him , eventually the 3g signal was there, but no browsing, so i call 12134....this time the representative " Raju" answered my call, poor guy doesn't seems to have any idea on the process, i told him the whole story ,but he just forced me to repeat the whole steps again, i could do nothing but laugh at Airtel's service, my question for Raju was 1.what is the speed 3g internet? Raju : 300kb to 600kb per second, I said alright, 2. i have 3g service activated, but i am not able to open Gmail and unable to open any site ? Raju : It is alright i can help you, now is the funny part, he asks me to open the browser and type gmail and give the log-in details to access gmail and said that is how you browse...for a moment i was frustrated, but did not wanted to waste my anger on him , simply asked him to transfer the call to "Suresh", so he did, but the call never got connected......I have a list complaint numbers which i have registered....i am not sure if they are reference numbers or complaint numbers ...but they will tell the whole story to Airtel about the list of calls which i made...........all the calls which i made were chargeable at 50ps for 3Minutes, all the money on calls were spent for nothing but a bad service....


I spoke to people called Sarvani, Pampari, Raju(poor guy doesn't seem to have any clue about the process), Suresh....i had few more names, which I don't remember....

I suggest Airtel to look in to this matter and provide me proper resolution, and please stop saying that you are the best service providers....if you want to say that...please make sure to mean it......


If i am not getting response with in a day, i am going to shift my service....

You have a caption saying swift solutions..? have you give any swift soultion to my issue..? if you could have read the posting you were supposed to get back to me on time, which never happened and you expect me to call you guys back to get my issue resolved even though i have raised so many complaints...

This sort of response clearly shows the kind of respect airtel has on their customers...

I am switching service..bye bye Airtel...

I am using an Airtel 3G (USB modem) in Chennai and I am having the worSt experience of all times!!. First I had a very tough time in getting it activated and finally when it got activated( after losing, hell a lot of money in calls n plans)..Now The connection gets cuts off very often in between of browsing and most of the time its doesn't gets back on the same day! the tele- customer service is so horrible, that they always put me on hold or keep transferring from personal to personal with no proper solution or advice and moreover they charge for the call as well!!.
I feel to have made the biggest mistake of my life by choosing to go for Airtel, believing on their Ad's n reputation...Now am planning to go for a different service provider if this doesn't get resolved at the earliest. At the worst, I would consider the money I paid for the modem(which is refundable) as equivalent to toilet paper or got rob'd in daylight !.
SHAME ON YOU AIRTEL!!, this is not the way to operate and if you continue with this 'ty practice, you are gonna die soon in this competitive market..
