[Resolved]  Airtel - Kerala Circle — Poor network coverage

I live in Trivandrum.

Between Sreevaraham and Mukkola, in Parambil Nagar. Its a place where mix of hi-fi and lo-fi people live.

I have Airtel connection and the network coverage is extremely bad. Pls do install a new tower in the nearby location or increase the transmission power of the tower which serves this area.

Iam sure that a comment post is not for complaint. But any way my complaint should reach the authorities concerned.
I purchased an airtell prepaid SIM CARD a few months back and later I upgraded it for one year by paying Rs.500. Now the sim card is not working and so I cannot call any body and I cannot receive the call of anybody. I tried the SIM in other mobile phones and the result is the same. So could you please replace the SIM. To get it replaced where shall I go. I live in Mallappally, Mallappally Taluk, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala and my nearest town is Mallappally or Tiruvalla or even Kottayam. I mean I can travel up to these places to collect the sim. In such a case will you not give it free? Please reply in my email address or bsnl [protected]

now iam getting the coverage of pokotukavu tower, its 4km away.but there have a tower in trikkarey, its just 1 km away from my place.but its coverage is not getting for me.idea and vodafone launches new tower in attasery.so pls make a tie up with them or launch a new tower in attasery...

Sub: - Complaint against Kasaragod District Uppala Manjeshwar Airtel Zonal Manager Krishna

With reference to the above I submit as follows

That on 18th JUN 2008 at 3 P.M. I called your Zonal Manager Krishna on his mobile No. [protected] asking about our monthly claims and new schemes. But I was surprised to see the behavior of your uppala Manjeshwar (Karalla) Zonal Manager Krishna instead of controlling himself he was talking nonsense with me, and he does not know how to perform the duty of Zonal Manager. He was completely lost his temper and behaved unusually with me. He abused me in filthy language and he asked me not to call him again. I got insulted and ashamed for no fault of me.

Now please note that I am running a retail recharge centre service last several years, I am giving a moderately good collectin to Airtel kerala circle by selling easy recharge and much more SIM activations in my shope. I am also recommending Airtel to so many shopes of this area and asking them to open Airtel easy recharge out lets in there area.

Since last March 2008 I have not been given any claims( activation commission) by Airtel inspite of my several requests. I also would like to bring to your kind notice that none of the Airtel retailers of this area have been given any claims since last March 2008. all other tele communication companys are settling the account by the end of every month except Airtel.

Hence I kindly request you that necessary disciplinary action shall be taken against the said Zonal Manager named Krishna, mobile No.[protected]. otherwise appropriate action will be taken directly by the consumers of manjeshwar wich day deem fitt in the future course of time.

I a distributor of donecard. On request of Shri.Shaji, from tamil nadu for a recharge copuon for his mobile No: [protected], I obtained an oxygen pin no and handed over him for recharging. he tried *101*+ secret No +# and *123*+secret no+#. Both he tried but the mobile was not recharged with that no and showing no services is available. if he tried for customer care 123/161 the mobile says no number exists. if it is a BSNL No. the problem could not arise. How to sort out this problem ? How to recharge Tamil Nadu or other states Nos? is any facility available in Airtel? Can it possible to recharge/top up of the balance amount in an easy way same as for BSNL customers? your early replay anticiapated
very very poor coverage for airtel, i'm staying only half km away from airtel tower.All other networks has full range.i'm in pullad{{thiruvalla-pathanamthitta}.

This is regarding for the deduction of amount from my air tel prepaid mobile. I am using prepaid SIM ([protected]) for more than 2years. But now I am not satisfied with your services because this is the fourth time you are deducting the amount from my credit without activating or using your additional services. When I activated the SIM card, its already gone 30 Rupees for the missed call alert service. But I didn’t want that service. So deactivated that service by using the commands which you sent by SMS. After 8 months I got SMS that “your missed call alert service activated automatically, if you don’t want this service please deactivate it using this commands”. I deactivated it at same moment. But I lost another 30 rupees for this unwanted facility. At that time I spoke with the customer service executive, he told me that they will check it and if I was not using that service they will refund it. They did it. After few months, the same problem again haunting me. Now my account is under minus balance. The minus balance amount is increasing each & every day. And some times its automatically get back to my account What shall I do to solve this problem? I request you to the needful assistant.

I agree with all the above!
Am now using airtel with mobile internet activated but the speed is very very less compared to other service providers like aircel, vodafone, idea.
I get downloading speed of just 5kb/s and at these low speed its not possible to take internet through PC though the mobile internet plan is for the same purpose.
I complainted airtel about this but they say they are helpless!
Other service providers mentioned provide edge but Airtel is not able to provide edge here in 2010 when INDIA is nearing to 3G !

i am using airtel postpaid, living in konny, network coverage is extremely low in 1km away from town.I am going to change the connection with same number
