[Resolved]  Airtel Landline — Harrassment by airtel's collection officers after making complete payment of bill

I am Abhijeet. I had taken up an Airtel's landline connection with telephone no.[protected]. We had submitted the request of withdrawal of the connection in January 2010 in the city office and hence deposited all the bills thereof.

From the past one week, I am continously receiving the phone calls from the collection officer who is asking for 2500 rs more. On asking for the written bill, he is not willing to send it but badly harassing with his filthy language & repeated calls.

we have no clue for approaching whom in this regard. It is a shame on the part of Airtel who is acting so irresponsibly.

Airtel — Harrassment via calls

Wanted to let the customer support at Airtel know that I am gettin harrassing calls from [protected] especially at 2 or 3 in the morning. I have no Idea who this person and why they are calling but they hang up. If Airtel doesn't do anything, I will have to make a police complaint. I am surprised that Airtel doesn't have any policies regarding harrasing calls. Please let me know what action you are taking at the earliest

Airtel — deactivation of landline even after payment of bill

i have paid my landline bill of last two months,even then they have disconnected our landline and broadband connection,we have given many complaints but they are activating for one day and again disconnecting it we have been suffering a lot of it and they are harassing us

Airtel — Harrassment Faced After Applying For New Connection

I have booked one internet connection from Airtel on 13th Dec 2010. My Form number is 2566437.
Executive (Arjun [protected]) has taken Rs. 1000 for one broadband connection and one additional phone line.
Since that day there was no update from their side on the status of this connection, i was the one who kept on following up with them. Ultimately on Saturday (18th Dec.) I got a call from Mr. Satish for the wiring, he then came at around 4.00 pm and after wiring he told me that the engineer will come in half an hour for the installation. After waiting for 2 and half hour I then call Mr. Arjun again but there was no response and i kep on waiting for the engineer. Then around 7.30 pm Arjun told me that he is not really aware of the situation and will try to get the update for me. There was no result still and I kep on waiting for any updates from their end. Then I got another Person contact details from Mr. Arjun, his name is Vikas [protected], who told me that due to some technical problems engineers would not be able to complete the installation today. SO AFTER WAITING FOR MORE THEN 4 HOURS I GOT THE ANSWER BACK THAT INSTALLATION CANNOT BE DONE TODAY.

On Monday (20th Dec) one person came for the installation and he only come up with one broadband connection WHEREAS I HAVE ALSO PAID FOR ONE ADDITIONAL PHONE LINE, and Mr. Vikas said that we have one line at the moment but we will get you the other phone line by next day.

Now today (22nd Dec.) i called him again and now he is saying that we do not have the update for the new line.

This was the most worst case I have ever seen and the amount of harassment and losses due to this problem. It was a clear indication that apart from irresponsibility, they have cheating us in a big way. Changing the statements every time I called them. i am still in shock and does not really know what to do of this suffering which i am getting from a well renowned company like Airtel.

Kindly look into the matter very urgently and seriously. Waiting for the advise further.

AirTel — Harrassment by collections

Dear Madam/ Sir,

I received a bill from Airtel (number[protected] for which included call details to a premium number 5664466 for about 10 hours and consequently I was billed for INR 5,000 on the same. However, my calls to the said number lasted only about 15 minutes. Despite continuous follow-up with customer service team, there is no resolution on the same. Meanwhile, the collections team from Airtel is calling me regularly and even visited my home and threatened my wife in my absence !!

Everytime I say the same thing to the collections team - please ask your customer service team to call me and resolve my issue on the bill. But there is no response from their customer service team and I continue to be harrassed by their collections team.

I am amazed at the speed with which you guys always come back stating "i am pleased to inform your complaint is resolved". This was exactly the kind of response I received after I complained on your website. I am curious to know what you mean by complaint resolution? Does sending a mail "this is an automatic mail. We will revert in 2 working days" classify as complaint resolution. Or a further mail stating "we regret we are right and you are wrong. We value you as our customer" classify as compliant resolution? Because thats the exact reply I have received from airtel so far !!
1. My bill issue is far from resolved.
2. Harrassment from your collection team continued till last week when fed up I paid the inflated bill amount
3. Obviously there has not been a single call from customer service team to understand and address my issue.
By far, I must say, this is the worst organisation in customer service that I have encountered.

AirTel — Phone is not working after paid bill

My Phone and Internet service stooped by AIRTEL after paid all bill. They always say will start tomorrow.

Airtel Landline — Airtel landline harrasment service

Dear SirMadam,

Complaint Against Non Service-[protected]-49

have booked a connection for the name of People Power India Pvt LTd on 05th November 2011. Through your Vendor in Ghaziabad Staar Telelmedia Services , Company Executive Mr. Manish ([protected]) Comes at my premises and take cheque of Rs. 4000/- for New 8-connection in advance as per AIrtel Policy. with EpbAX connection and 16 lines on Desk with Free Installation. and told me Maximum 1000 Rs. Exp as internal Wiring already done in my office. But after long time and long waitup No body turnup and confirm me about connection status. Company executive also not picked my phone.

On 7th Dec one of the executive from STARR comes and fix Epbax and assure me Airtel will fix line within one or two days. I told him to complete internal wiring as when connection start we will use them from ist day. but they refuse and assure me we will done it in same day when airtel connection will start. After a wait of 10 days airtel start connection on 16th of December and his executive told me to tell call center that my phone are working Ok. I refuse to say ok and also my First Call with Cutomer Executive I refuse and told them that work is not done. After this he talked with his team leader Mr. Sunil [protected] and Mr. Sunil assure me that your work will be done by next day. On his assurance I have talked with Customer Care executive and told him Ok my phone lines are working fine. After 3 days no body turn up in my premises. then I make a call to Mr. Sunil he also made my con call with Mr. Manish in STARR both assure me my work will be done in next day. After Two days Mr. Vinay Sharma # [protected] comes in my office and told me your Internal lines are faulty you have to change this and told me 4 bundells of Cables for this which cost is approx 5 k accrording to me. In my office to senction amount more then 1K we have to take permision to higher authorties. I told him ok i will take the Permision from higher Authorities and told you to come back again. He assure me sir when you call me I will arrange my guy between 2 hours. On 27th Dec I have called him and told him to send your executive, Mr. Vinay Sharma assure me that today person is not available but he will reach in your premises by tomorrow at any cost. But from 27th to 30th Dec no body comes in my office as well as not picking my phone either by Mr. Vinay Sharma or Mr. Sunil . After this I have make a call from Landline then Mr. Vinay sharma then he pick the phone and refuse to complete task as month end.

I request you, kindly see my problem and confirm me why I pay Landline Bills which are fixed in one placewhich are useless for me.

I will not pay any rent which service i have not used and want also want compensation for my business loss as i already remove my existing BSNL lines and Airtel lines are not working.

If Airtel is unable to provide service, you can also close my connections.

* This is mail which i have sent to [protected]@airtel.in on 30/12/2011. After this I have not received any response from them, I have sent the same mail to nodal officer on 7th Jan- No Response received yet. on 21/01/11 i have sent the same complaint to Appellate but no reply received yet.
