[Resolved]  Airtel Mobile Chennai — Booster Card Cheating

Dear Friends. Have you followed the Booster card packages by Airtel?

Initially in order to attract more customers in to their net work all the mobile operators are offering Booster cards alternatively known as Rate Cutter cards.

Airtel also offered a rate cutter card value of Rs.65/- with one month validity. In this rate cutter all the local airtel mobile calls charged only 10 paise per minute. So several customers including me advised our friends and relatives and changed to airtel mobile since the charge is very low with rate cutter card.

After making the customers used to the benefits of Baaster card. all of a sudden airtel stopped Rs.65/- Booster card and forced to take only Rs.97/- card to use 10paise call charge to local airtel numbers. after two months, they again stopped the 97 Booster also and forced the customers to go for 149 Booster to avail the 10 paise call charge.They also convinced that along with that booster card custmoer can send sms for 5 paise and to other mobile calls at 49paise per minute.

But the airtel failed to note that not all the customers are using sms and also making calls to other mobiles. It should be the customers choice to choose among the Booster cards. Without doing so Simply forcing the customers will only make them to loss their customers since other mobile operators are giving vide choice on booster cards. Most if the customers are using second mobiles to use avail the benefits of booster cards. It is not a difficulty for them to switch to other operators.They have to think about it.

on 99 booster plz change 100sms to 250 or 300 sms per day...
on 10 rs top up card increase the amount as 8.00or7.50 for 7.07...
and also yesderday in my balance 100rs you have taken from my prepaid account so, plz refund my amount my no. is [protected]
plz reduce the amount for internet connection... according to me and my friends... plz introduce plan as 250rs pm and unlimited downloads at 9.00pm to 7.00am and increase the speed...
yes, Airtel cheating us with Booster Card.i got a Diwali offer like with RC 160 booster pack, i can call Airtel to airtel @ 30 p/min and other mobiiles @50 p/min.Before booster pack for me the sms charge are 5 Paise for loacl SMS and 50 paise for std.but after using booster pack my SMS rate got increased to 50 per SMS for both local and STD sms.when i asked about this SMS rate to Customer care, i didn't get valid responce.instead they are advising me to use another booster pack for SMS.i am really get frustrated about this.i am going to change my SIM card soon.
Yea, airtel sucks man. They are totally money based. No intention to provide quality service to customers. they keep on changing booster plans. They tend to reduce the features of a booster and provide the previous features in a booster of higher rates. Innocent customers fall for this trick and become airtel's prey. When will this injustice end? We expect the govt to take a good action against this kind of cheating. Thanks for the oppourtuniy to express my feelings.

register the new mobile number faster ya...i bought the sim card before 3 months ..till now they did not register my number so i can not use so many options with this number

my mobile number is [protected], I charged full talk time Rs345/-Trans id 14820799.and Rc 44Rupees charged Transid13547330.

with reference to the above complaint is rate cutter rate mentioned inmy sms 6.5rupees for gulf.but every time it is reducing per call 12rupees.I think so rate cutter not responding in my mobile.kindly send me confirmation about this issue.

Recently AIRTEL started charging for MMS services. The point is I do not know what is MMS and how to use it. When I called and told them, one guy said this has been deactivated. But within next one hour there was aother debit. Again I went to the Customere care centre. This centre is manned by some fools who do not kanow anaything about Airtel service. With great difficlukty I got the ph umber of the nodal officer. He refused to give the address of their office. This man got the MMS seervice cancelled.
Why they refuse to give the physical address? If we have to make a complaint or file a suit, we need their address.
my mobile no is [protected]... i recharged 450 rs booster card on 15th aug 2011... trans id is[protected]. i cont check my booster card vality .. i use *124# but it respond invalid service code ... i called my mom ... talked 2.45 sec ... airtel charged rs 0.30 paise ...ok ... then i send an one msg to my friend [protected] it's also airtel no... but airtel charged 0.50 paise for that msg in my main account ... wt can i do... customer care not given propare response ... how to check my booster card vality and msg problems pls give me a good solution for this problem... my email id is [protected]@gmail.com
