[Resolved]  Airtel — fraud billing

i am the unfortunately victim of your company i have around 7 postpaid numbers with me in my house .i took due to insist of your company.i want to take attention of the company about certain problems which is a total harrasment to me and my family.
first of all i want to tell in the month of january 2011 executives of your company came to my house and insisted to take 4 numbers in cug plan ,and similarly i took the numbers [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected].
due to these numbers i immediately contacted customer care num,bers and requested and instructed them to disconnected the number [protected] because i am getting some unwanted calls.after two three days i got a call from senior official of your company requesteing not to disconnect number ,but i strictly instructed her to disconnect the number as early as possible.she committed me that the number will be automatically disconnected within 48 hours.the number is disconnected around 20 february 2011.
surprisingly the so called reputed company is charging the bill till date .i really shocked and keep informing about this on customer care but who cares for the customer ,the so called reputed company is interested in making money by fraudful activities by duping innocent consumers .no action taken by company to my compaints.i sent my written application to the outlet r c cellular laxmi nagar nagpur but they refused to accept.i sent several e mails but no response got.

coming to the number of [protected]
this time company is try to prove they really involved in fraudful activities by charging forged bill to the customers/consumers.they charged around 1600 billed and 3800 unbilled amount to me as airtel live gprs charges excluding other charges.i shocked to see the amount the services which i have never used the com-pany is going on charging the same.similarly i continuosly informed customer care and nodal officer of concerned region but the company is do not have any bother to response.which is shameful in the market.i paid the bill but i do not got any explanation about this.

prior to two months i visited your outlet laxminagar nagpur to migrate my bill plan into 999 advance rental plan.executive informed me the availability and told me to talk on hot line from your outlet.i done the same thing and your hotline executive has instructed me to deposit 999 rs cash at the outlet to activate the plan.i deposited the cash at the outlet but today i recieved the bill of [protected] i again shocked that no such plan is activated on mu number .it is a height of tolerance from a customer /consumer to tolerate such activities of company.

i further glad to tell you that i want to disconnect my all numkbers [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protect... further ask you that to give me explanation that why i should not disconnect the numbers and should use your services.
i further inform you that i am going to take following action
1. to file strict civil and criminal proceedings against the company.
2. i am going to refer this matter before press and media so that all peoples should know about the fraudful activities of the company.
3. i will file the written compalint befire TRAI to investigate the mater.

i need a quick response from company as last chance failing action will be taken.

Please avoid airtel postpaid connection as they will charge over the amount, they will charge daily, though you didnt use your mobile on that day. If we ask the customer care then they will reply "we are not responsible and you are using the mobile so we are charging" they will reply with arogant.

We moved to Bangalore from Gurgaon in December 2007. In Gurgaon we had taken Airtel Landline connection with DSL (#[protected]. When we moved to Bangalore we asked for the connections to be deactivated. The phone connection was deactivated on 25-Dec-2007 as per Airtel Records. The DSL connection, they never disconnected. Now they have come to us asking for payment of amount nearing Rs.40,000/- saying that the DSL was not disconnected and had been used (don't know by whom). It was Airtel's failure to deactivate the DSL and someone has been fraudulently using it. Why should I be paying it?

Airtel Fraud Billing.

I went to USA for business purpose for the duration of 1 Week. From USA through Dial91 i made calls to india. I made 21 calls in total. But im suprised to see airtel bill. they made charges for 34 calls each call costs 55 Rs. i talked to customer care so many times but the result, as everyone knows waste of time. Then i got the call histroy from Dial 91 with all the evidence i send it to appelate team for the justification. But the team replies with single line our billing is correct. I talked to the appelate representative subramni for about 20 min. I explanied my situation with complete evidence so many time. he also stand my the word " i understand your situation but our billing is correct" I fed up with is issue for the last 2 weeks.
Now i have to pay for all 34 calls whether i made it or not doesn't matter. since it is reflected in the bill i have to pay the bill.
i will wait for reply.pls communicate me on [protected].
what a surprise from airtel new bill generated i am again shock to see .
outgoing was barred by airtel but i n the bill shows usage of internet till 4 th march .really great achievement by airtel.
the company is very irresponsible to the customers they are just ignoring such a serious complaint. they replied me and denied all the claims of mine which forcing me to take a strict legal action against the company.it is very shameful to have numbers of such company.i request all the people to verify each bill before paying to he company.in the new bill of [protected] it is shocking that you have barred my number due to crossing of credit limit.i paid 4270/- rs.on 21/02/2012 after that you may have started a services but in the bill in itemised statement you shows internet usage of entire month i am unable to understand such things.it is very irresponsible and careless approach to the customer.still 999 advance rental plan is not activated i want to make portability of my all numbers and want to change service provider as early as possible.

I am not sure if this forum is going to assist / sort out the issue I have. Here goes.

I have an airtel postpaid sim card. I had asked for 2G activation of internet for which I was informed that the charge was Rs.98/- till 1GB. After 1GB, it would be charged at 10ps per 10kb. Now my monthly bill is Rs.1600/-!

I called up customer care. Airtel 3g was activated on my airtel number three months back and there was no intimation about the same. I had asked for 1GB plan (2g) at Rs.98/- per month. Now the bill has been charged at 10ps per 10kb because of 3g. Airtel manager (Abdul) had stated that this is because of a tie up between airtel and sony ericsson, which is none of my concern. Why should I pay for a service that was not activated by me nor airtel confirming that this service has been activated on my number. I would like to know how to go about filing a legal complaint in case this is not resolved.

Its become a routine for Airtel to cheat me when it comes to billing my postpaid number. Inspite of taking the 999 plan per month the company claims that i have used more than 4GB internet usage for the given month while the only use i do is o[censored]sing a few websites like sbi, goofgle, etc, whatsapp and facebook. For my usage it will surely not cross 2GB at the max.
Its been 6 months now that after i receive my bill i always have to call and clarify with them to which they usually verify and accept their mistake but this time their customer call centre executive named Neha seemed to be so adamant about the fact that she refused to agree on this point.Before speaking to her i had already confirmed from another gentleman at the airtel customer service that there has been a mistake in the billing but Ms.Neha refused to even agree to this. Having such a large company and such a mishandled customer service is shame. The fact that the customer has to call up every month keeping track of what the company has billed it is itself a proof that there is no satisfaction . This has therefore forced me to change to another service provider which will in no way affect the Giant-Airtel but it definitely leaves a bad impression. Take your hold people at airtel -it will not be long before everyone is frustrated because of this.
