[Resolved]  Airtel — NON INSTALLATION

I have booked Airtel Dish TV connection on 21.04.2011 by paying Rs.3590/- at Hyderabad with Receipt No 26008 for installation at Nellore. The connection was booked after Ms Mumtaz of their Call Centre advised to pay at Hyderabad. Installation was promised next day itself, but till date it has not been done. I contacted their call centre many times and they listen to everything and disconnect the call. Ms Mumtaz never comes on line, even when we request others at call centre. I am in a very hopeless situation and I may have to send Legal notice to Airtel in this connection. My telephone no is [protected].

I AM NOT IMPRESSED!!! I HAD ASKED FOR AN INSTALLATION ON THE 9TH Of September…..it is now the 02nd OF NOVEMBER AND I DO NOT HAVE A CONNECTION………IS THIS THE USUAL SERVICE????

HAVE THIS SORTED OUT ASAP!

CUSTOMER CARE HAVE SAID THERE WILL BE NO LEVEL OF COMPENSATION FOR THE SHODDY LEVEL OF SERVICE.....I CAN BELIVE THIS!!!

SORT THIS OUT AND I WANT SOME FOR OF COMPENSATION

Can you belive the Gaul of this company...no body speaks english or is willing to assist...i have registered a complaint regarding the instalation for Saturday and they call every 20 mins asking to come and instal!!! When a customer provides a specified date and time there should be a really good reason for them to ask for that...lets see...because they will only be available then!!!

I HAVE RECEIVED YET ANOTHER CALL DESPITE REGISTERING A COMPLAINT, A FLOOR MANAGER NAMED SATISH IS LOOKING INTO THE ISSUE...BUT THE WAY THINGS ARE WITH AIRTEL...I DONT THINK HE WILL MANAGE ANYTHING!!!

I Had booked a Digital DTH connection of Airtel from M/s.Vickrant Enterprise.Mumbai. Amount paid by cash Rs.1800/- on 24.10.2009.
Lodged complaint on 10.11.2009 for non installation and the person came said that he cannot do the connection.
Again spoke to Mr.Chetan their executive at Customer Care Service who said that he will forward my details and somebody will contact me within 24 hrs. But it is over a week nobody has contacted yet.

No display of DTH Showing Technical problem from 09.12.2009. Kindly rectify the above problem and resume the DTH Services on early basis.
DTH connection not installed
I have made a online payment of Rs. 1750/- for installation of Airtel DTH at my home in Vadinar on 18.11.2010 and was told that installation will be done within 24 hrs by airtel person (noida office) . My booking reference is 11903344. Now 9 days have passed and installation has not been done. whenever I call the No. [protected] they simple tell that My details will pass on the Installation Department and they will make call - since 22th of Nov same reply I am receiving but nobody called me till today This is highly unprofessional attitude causing monetary as well as mental trauma to me. I would like strict action to be taken against these people so that they don't ill treat any future customers like they are treating us. I also want to know what hard action i can take aganist airtel dth for non compliance for the verbal promise of installation within 24 to 48 hours.

Airtel DTH — Non-Installation

I Purchased a new Airtel DTH Connection or Airtels Website. Paid in Advance for one year. These people called me up and gave a Customer ID [protected]. Since then nobody has turned up for installation. The call centre is the worst in India. I have made atleast 50 calls. 95% of the times the call gets disconnected. Every agent has a different story. Finally I was given a number of an engineer & i was asked to follow up with him. the engineer is so rude, he thinks as if airtel has given me this connection complimentary. now even the engineer has stopped picking calls. Is there anyway I can cancel this connection & get my refund.

I got airtel dth with sony bravia, and i hv get installtion voucher with that after that i hv called customer care to get the STB they replied you have to get a recharge of Rs.1000/- first on ur customer ID then will send STB at your home. i hv done that 1000 rupees recharge on customer id generated ( [protected]) which is given by customer care to me. and now no body is bother to take my call as i called 50-60 times on all the customer care no's of AIRTEL DTH SERVICE CENTRE. simply they sent a msg "" send this to this no and our customer care exe will contact you shortly"" nobody called me yet..

A very Hopeless service and hopeless company...!!!
