I have airtel dth connection since last[protected] one is mega pack & other two ultra pack connection.My account id [protected]. Last 16 april 2011 I am not satisfy with airtel dth service becaus there is inturruption between satallite signal & a video as well as channel not properly seen.
When from airtel local office enginners had come & as per company they told me that company change there software so for that they change my dish tv direction
after that all my channels signals were not working properly some channels show me no signal thats why i can't watch it properly.
As per custmer care they told me my packege all three conections are running properly but actually I am totally disapointed from airtel dth service.It is very bad & poor service.Now they told me after three visits to my home that dish tv receiver[lmb] is not working properly.
my question is who should bare that receiver charges?

    Dear Sir,

    I am a Airtel consumer of Mumbai circle(Mobile No.[protected]).I would like to draw your attention towards deliberate delay by airtel in processing my request to port my no. to Vodafone.I had applied for number portability from Airtel to vodafone on 6th April after receiving my unique porting ID(AM159155).However till date there is no response from Airtel on this issue.When I enquired from Vodafone's local representative here at Thane,he informed me that Airtel has sent them sme misleading information because of which they are unable to process my request.I lodged a complain with Airtel also on this account(Request no.CMPRO[protected]) but I am still to hear from them.

    I would like to draw your attention towards this harassment and wish to express that consumers were better off when government has not announced such sophisticated policy which is hard to be implemented in our country because of the lost moral values and innate greed.Ignorance is a bliss some times!!

    Through this mail I wish to convey a message to airtel that in any case they will not going to retain a customer with such deceitul ways of doing business but through improved services.Once I have decided to I will definitely migrate.However a fair business practice could have been well appreciated.

    AirTel — Mobile Portability - Airtel delaying the request

    Hi,

    I am an exisiting customer of Airtel and I applied for Mobile Portability. I want to move to Vodafone and Airtel is not releasing my number. I spoke with Airtel Customer Care more than 10 times and every time they give some odd reasons and say it will be done in a day. I am sure next time I will call they will say ur unique porting number has expired, please re-apply.

    I have very bad experience from the Loop Mobiles.Earlier known as BPL mobile.I am using the mobile since last 7-8 years.During this period I have submitted all the documentary proof thrice.Of which for the last two submission I also have the acknowledgement.On applying for the portibility, now they are calling me & saying the mobile number is not registered in your name & hence my request for portibilty was rejected giving reason as "FORCE MAJEURE"

    I request you all to please advice me as to how to go about where to approach to resolve this.

      My complaint is regarding the Airtel broadband connection, I used to have AirTel Broadband connection Account NO: 15016714 , I have raised request with Airtel Customer service to disconnect my Account on August 7 '2010(ticket number could be 1354897) as i got some other connection and the customer support representative told that the connection will be disconnected in 7 days. but after 3 weeks I got a call from Customer support saying i have to pay the outstanding amount of 837 Rs otherwise they cant terminate my Broadband account, i immediately paid the amount even though i was not using their connection for that month, I paid the outstanding amount through netbanking, here are the transaction details "25/08/2010 AIRTEL Payment Ref. No:AIRTEL CEL6644996 . In the next week some Airtel representative called me and told that he is at my home to collect the DSL modem and landline telephone instrument, as no one was at the home , I told me him to come on that week Saturday as i will be at home to hand over the instruments, but he never came or called me again. from the next consecutive month i used to receive call from customer representative that there is outstanding due on my Broadband connection, i used to explain this whole story that i have a requested to terminate my account and i have already paid outstanding amount, then the representative used to say she will check with the concerned dept and call me. how come Airtel again come back with outstanding amount ,once i have cleared the outstanding amount and their representative came to collect the instruments. They kept on calling for outstanding amount till March which kept on increasing month by month but in february 2011 there was call from customer support who can barely speak in English, she told that i am due in returning their instrument for the terminated account to the airtel, i told her to send representative to collect the instruments , and the reps came and collected the DSL modem and phone instrument in Feb 2011 Month itself, they have given receipt with No 2054, again in march i got a call from customer support asking me to pay the increased outstanding amount, i shouted at him saying how come the departments with in Airtel doesn't have communication about the terminated account and your Department keep bugging me every month for the outstanding amount when the other department have already collected the DSL modem and Phone instrument indicating closure of account, he said the he is not aware of this and he was told to call to collect outstanding amount, which is ridiculous. I was supposed to get back my deposit of 1000 Rs against the DSL modem from Airtel after i have returned their instruments which they have collected during initial setup after i have returned their instruments , but instead of returning my 1000 deposit they are bugging me to pay the outstanding amount for the account that has been closed. As i didn't get any call from Customer representative for outstanding amount since March 2 nd week 2011, i though that the concerned depts have synced up and closed the issue. but today i received legal notice to the outstanding amount of 2483/- Rs. This is absolutely ridiculous ,how come airtel had become big company with his kinds of acts, one department in Airtel closes the account and other dept with in the Airtel doesn't even have clue that the account is closed and they dint even return the refund deposit they collected during initial setup. I am fed up with Airtel, i am also thinking of closing my and my wife's Airtel Mobile connection after going though this for Broadband connection.Can some please teach the Airtel guys some common sense, they are harassing their customers.

      Dear forum Authorities,

      I want to bring to your notice that the issue is not yet resolved, today I got a call from an Advocate from Gwalior Madhya Pradesh who is Alok Sharma's Assistant i guess, that i am one of the defaulter in paying the Bharathi Airtel broadband bill and they are preparing legal notice against me with a case no LM601, this clearly shows that the different departments with in the Bharathi Airtel doesn't work in sync, one department says that the complaint is closed and resolved another department(legal) is planning to drag me to the court, this what i was complaining in my earlier consumer complaint that Airtel Departments doesn't work in sync causing a lot of agony to their customers, their service is pathetic.I have learn t a great lesson about Airtel service, i promise not to go with any of the Airttel services again in my life. I have also seen lot of such complaints floating against Airtel Broadband in this forum. can you kindly bring this complaint to a conclusion.

      This issue is still not concluded from Airtel side, My account is still not closed. I am still receiving outstanding payment calls from Airtel. still there is big communication gap between different Airtel Departments. I am doubting if any one is even reading my concerns and whether my account will ever be closed.

        dear sir,
        i applied for porting 28.03.2011,and recd a porting ID no that is AK972643 and expiry date was 12.04.2011.
        The company seniour executive call me on 29.03.2011in morning and offer me a plan against my porting valid for 6 month that is 10 paisa per minute airtel to airtel, 30 paisa per minute airtel to other network and 50 paisa on STD call, and this plan valid for 10 days as a gift from company and that after company will charged Rs. 1.00 per day as rental.
        But on 9 april 2011 my plan magrate to second plan automatically and irecd. a sms that if i want min. plan then i could recharge with Rs. 32.00, i recharged with Rs. 32.00 and my old plan applid
        that after i complaint with complain shell they give me a complain no that is CBNRA[protected].
        But till today i could recd. any solution of my problem and after 14 april 2011 there is no company representative recd.my complain and they ignore me.
        I requsted to related department to see on my complain and solve it urgently

          After much consideration, I bought an airtel HD DVR for 3790rs. Man I had to beg the dealer for 4 days before I got it installed. After installation I got couple of msgs that my account has been recharged for more than 2k, but just after 3days the balance came to 5rs, I had to recharge again with 1k. My customer no is [protected]. Can someone from airtel call me at [protected]?

            I made complaints about worst picture quality of airtel DTH with recorder bought on[protected] and as on date could not locate the problem by the technicians. so far i made more than 100 phone calls in( 11 days ) to the one Mr. Sambandhan, manager of chromepet area but of no use. His Mobile No :[protected].Now I could not see anything after spending nearly Rs,4000/=. They came today dated 21-4=2011 morning and tested dth set top box and said problem now is with dish antenna and said he will set it right in the evening and even after 3P.M. he has not turned up to our misery. we are now helpless for having gone for airtel dth. after 3P.M. to 7P.M. I made more than 35 calls to Mr. Sambandham and more than 40 calls to Mr. Kutty, the technician who came in the morning and his phon no. is.[protected].Further we lodged complaint with airtel DTH customer care and their complaint no. is 7218096.and they have asked to contact the same phone no. which is of mr.Sambandham who is not even bother to attend the calls.every time we called please view this link

            I am fron Bangalore, having exactly same issue and exeperincing same sick of service from AIRTEL DTH. I thought the problem with the local techinican not fixing avoiding my calls. By seeing these complaints across the INDIA it was very clear that the problem was at root level ie., with AIRTEL. No doubt that AIRTEL DTH was a big hole and blackmark of AIRTEL business, which actually also affecting their other successfull services like phones/broadband...etc. I think this is best time for other business rivalries to seize the opportunity where the hesitation of airtel services are previlaing in rapid way... I am happy to say moving away from AIRTEL even loosing the MONEY, considering the NO PAIN.

              this is to bring to your kind notice that there has been a problem in my broadband bill since March. My bill charged should be 1200 approx. but it was mentioned rs 1800 approx. i have complained twice at customer care but no corrective action has been taken yet and i am getting calls regularly for payment of the bill.
              It is my humble request to please do the necessary retification of my bill and as earlt as possible.

                Detailed at length below are the correspondences pertaining to some unauthorised deductions of amount Rs.30/- from my account of mobile no.[protected] under the head of "Airtel Friendz Chat Service" related to SMS source no.543216, today 21st April 2011, which neither I am using ever nor being interested to use.
                Also I need to emphasize that although my mobile number [protected] is registered under the "Do Not Disturb Scheme", yet I am receiving sms from various numbers with a common prefix of ' 54321*************** '. I tried many a times to deactivate these unwanted services from my account through complaint no "198" of the Customer Care Cell, but all in vain. Every time I had been instructed to call after 1 hour to resolve the problem.


                Requesting action from your end towards deactivation of the aforesaid unwanted service from my account with immediate effect and refund me the unauthorized deducted balance of Rs. 30/- at an earliest.

                      this is to inform u that on o[censored]r executive misbehaved on phone n revoked my outgoing faclity even after paying my outstanding amout n cotinous request for starting up my outgoing call for the same by me n my wife there is no action being taken... this attitude is not excpected of such a reputed conecern like airtel
                      if my facility is not soon started i will have to talk to some higher n nore reponsible authority conerned since your staff at ground level n not giving satisfactory reply plz look in to the matter as soon as possible

                          Few Days back(on 14 April 2011), Sales Executive from Airtel Company Came to home and explained about Airtel Apne Plan. As i was interested in it, i took that plan. He offered two sim cards and told me that it will be activated within two days. He also gave his number for futher contact but later i tried on that number but it was either swithed off or not in Service. Now that number is with Customer care, and they are saying that my documents are not Sumbitted. Also they are not giving me number of that Sales Executive.

                          So please help me.

                          currently i am using vodaphone card..but shifted to airtel when one of company sales executive came to my door step and explain about airtel apne very attractive plan..his name was ganesh pawar.10 days back..and he said it will get activated in 3 days..i still not have any cal from company..and card is not activated till this period..how can i trust airtel anymore...

                          Airtel executives providing wrong information for sales of card (or for incentives).

                          its affecting only to customer.

                          do not buy card only with oral information given by executive. better buy from galary.

                            I got the sms which reads MONO sms service would be renewed in 1 day, and it will cost me 1 re/day. I have never asked for it, and dialing 121 and 198 never takes me to customer care executive, i dont need this service and request you to stop it immediately.

                            I have got my no([protected]) yesterday and i have not done anything on it...still i got a message today that animation pack is activated and 10 rs charged whereaas i have never ever activated it...infact i even don't know how to activate it...and when i tried to contact to customer servicee,they always cut the line after sometime without listening the whole thing......i searched on web and found that its full with similar fraud stories by airtel....i am now gathering people online and i want to request everybody here who see this that contact me so that we can directly lodge a case in consumer court..its high time these guys have been financially robbing people.
                            u r correct . it happened to me also ... more than three times...
                            you are correct. i have 3g internet package active with still 600 MB of data available for me. i have browsed the internet in my cell for 5 min. and then in the next day i see 100 Rs is deducted from the balance. when contacted to Customer Care they are saying Animation pack got downloaded and got charged of 100 Rs. when i asked customer care is there any way to block such kind of balance deduction from downloads then they are saying its not possible its fault from our side. Before charging there has to information about it. or airtel service provider should give security to our prepaid balance account so that it will not fall into wrong hands as there are fraud people all around.                               See i already made one complaint about that I have problem viewing channels because of overlapping of clolours at regular intervals and we haven't got any reply from your side
                              As a customer we do what ever we can to make sure you hear our problems but as a company from customer eyes you have not even taking action on complaint that we have placed a month back

                              i am getting frustrated of making 3 to 5 calls a day to so call to your customer care for last 10 days were the response worst as it seem to me become my routine job i mailed you on problem and made complaints in this blog and also made complain in airtel via tele,email . i don't know what can we do to hear our problems as customer (pls recommend airtel dth in what way we can reach you)

                              its my humble request to any one who reading this as customer uyer who are planning to buy artel dth pls rethink about it

                              we want airtel dth to response to complaint we made before and on this. And there is no meaning complaints are posted in blogs and no response from airtel dth if your company really want improve after sale services pls reply to complains;comment that are made in siteslogs were it is posted and pls respect the customer suggestion and take action

                              Sir i don't know how mush time required for your employees to solve the issue as we made complaint on 15days back and you saying to us now that it required some time (how much time it will take only god know that)

                              i want to ask one question that as a customer we suffered for almost a month in viewing the channels. can airtel dth make refund the amount for one month for this suffering (as we have subscribe for 7months)

                              We also not satisfied by reply given to us .pls ask your customer care manager to look it in to reply made so far or by yourself .see reply to the above complaint or to the previous complaint we made .It look like so non committal in the sense READ THIS " ( our team is working on a resolution.                               2) worst responses from customer care
                              3) inattentive to the complaints
                              not even changed the words you used
                              even the consecutive reply to complain are similar and we also read the complaint about airtel dth and replay to those are also similar .

                              How can different complaint made by different persons but reply to complaint will be similar????? .if anyone having problem with airtel dth make a complaint and see the reply you come to what i said

                                My name is Vishal Dhariwal, My mobile no. is [protected]. I have Airtel Sim card, In which from Last 5 to 10 days two time Rs. 50 each, on 20/4/2011 Rs. 99, and Rs 20 is reduced from my main balance saying in message that you have downloaded mobile TV but I didnt downloaded any thing. When called in Airtel Customer Care they said to wait till 21/4/2011. My complaint no. is CBDCC Ref No: [protected]. When I didn't downloaded anything fom internet then why my nearly Rs. 220 is deducted. As I had registered my mobile for DND service after this I am receiving messages.

                                Airtel customer didnt given any satisfied answer and when I demanded for refund they said to wait till 21/4/2011. I want please check in matter and make my balance refund.

                                After submitting complaint here From airtel side Mr. Rakesh has called about my complaint. They said that you have been charged Rs. 220 for downloading JAVA GAME, but when balance is deducted airtel message and your customer care operator said that you have downloaded Mobile TV so you have been charged. Its clear that default is from your side and trying to lie with me.


                                So please I am requesting to consumer complaint forum to solve this problem.

                                  Reactivate the illegally deactivated 40 SIMS or pay heavy compensation in court.

                                  AIRTEL illegally deactivated 40 SIMS. Still after repeated promises, they fail.


                                  Failure to mention such a vital condition on the Airtel Sim Cover, amounts to DEFICIENCY and NEGLIGENCE on Airtel part, which they could be prosecuted for in The Consumer Court under THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT,1986, demanding the heavy compensation for deactivating all the 40 Sims purchased by me and my family.

                                  AIRTEL failed to print the vital warning on their Sims’ pack that if the Sims were not started being used in three months after the purchase, the buyer would lose all his money spent on those Sims.


                                  BRIEFS
                                  I and my family purchased 40 Mobile Sims of Airtel.
                                  And on the cover of Sims, it was categorically written that the Sims have LIFE TIME VALIDITY, provided they are activated in three months after its purchase. And this was done by the dealer instantly before us plus was rechecked by us after reaching home.
                                  Every Sim was found working with full net coverage. We categorically asked the dealer that all the 40 Sims could not obviously be used simultaneously and hence would be used one by one as the Sims would go on exhausting.
                                  The dealer assured us not to worry about and pointed out the LIFE VALIDITY TERM PRINTED on the Airtel Sims covers.

                                  NOW the bitter part started when we tried to use them, once the first Sim got over. The Sim failed to work. When enquired and followed up the matter, we got very irresponsible written reply from one Ms Smriti Saxena of Airtel that as the Sims were not started being used in three months after the purchase, they were deactivated.
                                  What type of arbitrary, immoral and illegal action and reply we got from Airtel.

                                  They say that under such cases, no correspondences shall be entertained.
                                  They expect us to suffer thousands of rupees for these 40 sims and they deny in this way?
                                  This is nothing but tyranny of Airtel and they must stop claiming that they care for their customers.

                                  They say go to net and read the conditions.
                                  I ask how many people go to the net and read hundreds of their conditions?
                                  When they may say on the cover to activate in 3 months, they could have very well said simultaneously to start using too in three months. But they didn’t.

                                  We will have to buy 40 mobiles to start using all these Sims simultaneously.
                                  Do Airtel expect this from us? Of course no.
                                  Then why did at all they sell and activate so many Sims with the same name?
                                  This simply proves that they are only interested in selling their products by hook or by crook.

                                  And when we lodge our complaint to them, they without looking at the MERIT of the case, the AUTHENTICITY of the case, simply prefer to cut off the clients’ throat by misusing arbitrarily their any ABCD net condition as a tool to go for such a daylight robbery, putting their customer into thousands of rupees loss caused by AIRTEL’s NEGLIGENCE and DEFICIENCY.

                                  It seems Airel is leaving no other choice before us except taking up the matter first with hundreds of Consumers Grievances Forums available on net and then to take up the matter in the Consumer Court, the way the Customs Commissioner Mr. Deepak Kumar did for one crore against ITC., obviously at the risk and cost of Airtel for heavy compensation to harass us with Trauma and monetary loss in this way.

                                  Airtel — Illegal deactivation

                                  I recharged on 24.09.09 my [protected] Haryana prepaid mobile to call lowering tariff for Rs105 with 6 months' validity but the Co.introduced next day another alike scheme of Rs60 only for 0ne year validity and Rs30 credit in account and duped me by such scheme and no validity of such schemes are given and the AirTel is habitual of doing this to extort the customers always, and deactivated on 05.10.09 which was vakid till 23.03.2010!
                                  On complaint I was stunned to note that the Co. said that the same was deactivated because I had recharged for Rs.10 on 03.10.09 to lower STD rates which is false and illegal as I have no logic to recgharge such a small amount and have other mobile Nos.(DoCoMo [protected] on 1p/per sec pulse and of Rel.[protected] of 0/50p for anything).
                                  The Co. has still not refunded my Rs105 and also not responded.
                                  Please take stern action as they are earning by befooling people.

                                    I was using [protected] Airtel service since June 2007 to Dec 2010, in
                                    the month of November 2010 I got extra charged Rs. 900 for a call which
                                    actually I have not made, the next day itself I called customer care
                                    center and complained about wrong billing and asked them to stop
                                    services and I stopped using that number.

                                    I said that I am ready to pay the remaining bill exept the dispute amount Rs. 900

                                    They discussed regarding this for three months and they disconnected
                                    after three months.

                                    Now harassing for the payment of three months for which I have not used
                                    and calling all my relatives and friends 24X7 and harrasing for payment
                                    of Rs.3000 and sending messages to all my friends and relatives contact
                                    numbers saying as I am fraud damaging my reputation.

                                    Even they have my new contact number and address and im in contact, they are contacting all my clients, friends and relatives and saying bad words.

                                    First thig who gave the authority to use my call history and use those contact number?

                                    PLEASE SUGGEST HOW TO PROCEDE LEAGALLY TO STOP THIS MENTAL HARASMENT AND HOW TO APPROACH CONSUMER COURT.

                                      this is sandip bose from bilaspur chattisgarh,i am a customer of airtel prepaid service since 4-5 years,i am quite satisfied with the airtel services of non disturbing network,roaming fascilities etc,even many times in telephonic survey from delhi i have been asked what are the reason for being a satisfied customer,even i have told to many of my family friend to opt for this airtel services,,,but sir today ie[protected] i recharged with rs 18 for using mobiletv services when i was surfing a sudden msg came stating that my mobile number [protected] has been charged for rupees 99 for downloading java games,where i havent downloaded any games,nor the game has been downloaded.after that when i call customer care, i talked to 3 customer care executives n said my above stated problem...none of any action was taken i feel extremly regret about the airtel service...none of anybody told the exact reason for the the mentioned problem...


                                      so sir/mam i request u please take some any action in this matter n inform me... because losing an existing customer is very bad effect for company,rather than making a new customer.
