[Resolved]  Airtel — No Incoming calls after MNP

I have ported [protected] from Idea to Airtel; It was troublesome right from the beginning. The Airtel Executive (Took it from Airtel Store, Beside Aditya Enclave, Ameerpet) gave me a wrong SIM card, so i have to wait for another 7 days and then he gave me another SIM onto which my number was ported.
After that i was unable to receive any calls from any number. Called up Customer Care, they said it will take another 48hrs to fix the issue.
After one week of continous calls to Cutomer Care i start receiving calls only from Airtel Numbers. When i again called up customer care, they gave some Complaint number and said will be fixed within 48hrs. Its been 15 days since i have lodged a complaint and still the issue is same and i am missing all my important calls, My business executives generally reside in US/Canada and they are unable to reach me which is hindering my business productivity. None of them are able to connect to my number. Its very critical that i have to be available on phone. One of my friend suggested to lodge a complaint here and here i am. If there is anything which you ppl can do, Please do the necessary.
I even tried sending a mail to Airtel, No luck through that medium also.

AirTel — no incoming calls After M.N.P

Respected sir,

i am a new customer of airtel, my mobile no. is [protected], actually i
had changed my operator from reliance to airtel under the mnp scheme on
22nd of January.i am facing the problem of not getting the incoming
calls on my number, so i complaint for that proble on 5th & 6th of May
to your customer care but every time called them up i only received the
message that out systems are on up gradation so we cannot take your
complaint.but i am facing a problem that i am not able to recieve any
incoming call every time somebody tries to call it says that the mobile
no your trying to reach is no reach able and when i checked it from
another phone i also received the same message but i a m able to make
outgoing calls i had complaint about 20 times to customer care and every
time they are saying we are transferring your call to senior executive
but they disconnect every time and i am not able to get any result of my
problem .so i request you to please to any necessary action against my
number so that my problem should be resolved or else i would have take
necessary actions against your company b myself.

I have ported my number from idea to airtel, my internet services and outgoing has started but I am not receiving any incoming calls .

I am ported Vodafone to Airtel, singles are strated, but I not receiving incoming calls, please solve my problem
I have ported from reliance to Airtel my number [protected]. outgoing has started but I am not receiving any incoming calls or SMS . My whole purpose of porting defeated. Obtained complaint Ticket number 18004846 from Airtel. as advocate my clients cannot call me .i am told that they receive message that my number does not exist. My net banking transactions cannot be done as I am not able to get OTP.Regretting having ported to Airtel.

How did you solve this problem?
I did number porting to Airtel. Internet and outgoing started but all incoming SMS/calls are not working. Everyone getting message as number invalid. What to do? customer care has no clue and gave some useless recommendation. I see its common problem but solution is not posted by anyone. If anyone know what i need to do it will be very helpful.

How did you solve the problem?
I was facing issue with incoming calls after porting from docomo to airtel. Out going calls worked fine but whenever someone tried to call me they kept getting the message that they are dialing an incorrect number.I went to airtel store nearby and they managed to sort out the issue in a matter of hours. I had logged complaint somewhere around 10.30 in the morning and got the resolution by 3 in the evening.

I just ported from vodapone to airtel, as I read above - I'm facing the same issue. There is no incoming call nor message coming in but I can use outgoing. I have registered a complaint but there is no resolution given, they are just saying "Your complaint is in open status, and we will resolve it with in 22nd of march. Its like 4 days and everything is connected to that number. Till date - 18th March 2018, The problem continues - Airtel didn't even care to look into it and resolve it for more MNP customers. Which is a bad service!
Call to your old carrier Customer care and ask them to release the number. Within 2 min incoming calls will be activated.
This not an issue of airtel...

Really??? If they wouldn't have released the number how exactly did we get ported out and the service provider changed
