[Resolved]  Airtel — Not able to make outgoing calls

My name is Pavan and my mobile number is [protected].

I have submitted documents for MNP (from Docomo to Airtel) on 10th Oct, 2012.

Yesterday (16th Oct, 2012), I have received SMS saying "Namaste! Request validated by Donot and Porting Time:[protected]:13:00:063".

So, changed my SIM card at that time and AIRTEL SIM is working. I am able to received incoming calls and not able to make any outgoing calls.

I have called customer care and shocked with their response. They said, it will take 7 days to activate outgoing calls. What the hell? They want customer to carry phone without able to make outing calls for 7 days. This is how they treat customer coming from other network.

Please help me in resolving this issue.

AirTel — not make my outgoing calls

hello, i was paid my airtel mobile bill.but after that my mobile not make a call. i talk with custmore care he was abused me and not started my airtel services. he said i was not getting your cheque but i gave him before 5days . but he stop my services. i want to camplait in court because he was abused me and loss me . it suffer in my business and i losss of 5lacs. i want reply otherwise i go to court against your services.

Airtel Sim — not processing outgoing calls

my out going calls not processing please give the reason to this case

i was offered a airtel post paid sim card after submitting my photo and proof of address to your representative who called on me he game a airtel postpaid kit and PACK CODE: MthofPkg-09/2009

a lady called me and asked reg the plan and she put me on me on 195/-
when i used the sim card in cell it showing invald sim. they not told me the mobile number also. please do the needful.

AirTel — Not Making call in customer care

sir,
i have been doing complaint in airtel since 28 oct2010.my problem is that when i make call in customer ,my number is cut,i have write this problem 3-4 times and another problem is i took message plan for ruppes 88 this plan were disable 10days approx. i taked krishan,jaslin,rita etc they all are astray me .plz help me

Airtel — Not able to make calls

My mobile number is [protected]. I am not able make any outgoing calls despite having sufficient balance, in fact more than sufficient. I am facing this problem for the past 10 days.
Kindly do the needful ASAP.

For No reason my airtel mobile no was barred from making and receiving calls. When i made a call to airtel customer care they told me that the number was barred due to address verification not completed. But the customer care executive were able to read me through the system and confirm me that the address verfication was completed on Aug 22nd at 12:20PM. This was as per their system update. But when i checked the reason for my number was barred i was told that the address verification was not completed.

There was no courtesy call from Airtel confirming if the number can be barred or not. How could airtel get into my account and make changes to the number without my knowledge. And also when taking to the customer care executive , it seems airtel doesn't have any defined process for anything. examples are
1. when they ask a security verification details i denied it (to check what level the process is strictly followed) , but still i was able make complaint, talk to the customer care executive, request for a call back from airtel, and process all my request.
2. The customer care executive says they have send me a sms regarding an information about my number, and due to technical reason at their the sms wasnt processed and delivered to my number. Is Airtel service is just send an sms that doesn't even reach the customer or to communicate the details properly with the customer ? This is a big question i have for airtel.

Every executive, floor supervisors , manager talk about different process for a same request or an issue. This looks like Airtel doesn't even have a defined process and they are not working to address any of the customer queries and issues.
