Airtel — Poor communication on customer care

Hi,

I have paid 1440/- for south ultra pack (1 month free) on Saturday morning (30th March 2013).

Ashish assisted and shared one link. On confirmation I paid through credit card.
As per sale person commitment same will be installed before on Sunday 6 P.M but till date no one called back on the status.

I made close to 40 to 50 calls to 12148, 12150 and [protected] ( Ashish, Lakshmi and Mustafa naming few people ) but no one able to provide basic information on my transaction id or customer numbers neither status. How pathetic the service ..

Worse part on customer care is disconnecting the call without answering my query neither they call back nor patient to stay on line to resolve my query . Finally I got some positive response from Rajesh and Ravi where they committed to install on 3rd April 2013. I am hoping at least issue will get resolved by 3rd April.

On making close to 50 calls to get the above said information it’s really pathetic. I request you to provide proper training to customer care people. At least provide the right information in first call. As a customer we are looking for response not resolution immediately.

It’s my personal experience calling 12148 or 12150 is useless.. No idea why they are keeping this as toll free number ..

Request you all to think before you make the payment, i am not very sure on other DTH service but airtel is worse.

Airtel DTH Service — Poor Customer Care

I have Airtel DTH and on[protected] my Airtel DTH service box was not working and i made a complain regarding the same on that day itself but it was not rectified till now and in the mean time i have made 9 more complains regarding the same till date and nothing has happened till date. I am writing all the complain numbers and dates and my customer ID too,

Till now none came to my house to check my Airtel DTH.... And they are asking me to pay 100 Rs even after not even coming for one time to my home to check it in 10 days. I want Justice. I hope i will get it.

I have purchased one airtel dth from M/s Variety store, Balasore, Orissa on 26 Sep 09. On payment the sales boy handed over STB, Stand Kit & LNB to me immidiately and told me that dish & wire will be taken by the installation boy tomorrow at aroun 1200 pm. Next day I waited till 4.00pm but they didn't turn up. Then i called Variety store and he connected me to the installation boy. The installation boy told me to wait in the main road as he will not find my home.I obiliged and waited in the main road which is about 50 mtr away from my house from 4.00pm to 5.00pm. When he didn't turn up i called him back he told me i have been assigned another work. When i asked when then when you will come he told i cannot give any time. Then i told him that i have been waiting for you since 12 pm leaving all important work and you have to give a particular time so that i can finish some important work and will be available in time. Then the person rudely told me that i cannot go you can make alternative arrangements. As the boy at Variety store is a knon to me very well i told him every thing and then he made other arrangement and it could be installed only after 3 days and could view programmes after around 5-6 days due to some hardware problems. I have made this comlaint after a very long period as i don't have any idea as where to make the complain. Expecting that you take some strigent action on these errant installation boys or else your sales is going to slope downwards. Presently I don't have my consumer id if you call me back i will definitely give you the same.

I am Atul Kulkarni from PUNE City using AIRTEL DIGITAL TV My Customer Id : [protected] ( on Name of Shruti Atul Kulkarni ) last 14 to 16 Days we are facing problem we are register compliant at customer care & every day we are follow, but there is no positive response I thing AIRTEL DIGITAL TV is under development product, why they are playing with people. Mr, Sunil Mittal are you using this product in your home.. i thing no because there is no quality, very bad services, very bad call center, dear sir first you design & develop this product properly, make it proper customer-care center, then do marketing. Your doing only advertising and selling this product

Airtel Broadband Connection — Installation not Done(Not Providing right information)

I have applied for a BroadBand Connection on 8thDEC2009 when i guy(Vishal: Ph No.[protected] ) from Airtel came to Collect the Documents and also took Rs1500 for installation of the Router. The very next day the verification was done from Airtel and the conserned person said that every thing is fine and the connection will be set up in next 3 days. After waiting for 3days when i called them they said there is a some problem in the Documents. So i said that someone can come and pick it up whatever they require. The very next day a call came and they said that every thing is ok no need of documents. I again waited and no response. i called again(REF NO:27574576. Date of Callback : 16thDEC) and the person(Vishal:Ph No [protected]) said it will be set up in 3 days. again no response and called gain and talked to Supervisor: Nisha(REF NO: 27704360,Date of Callback:21DEC ) , she also gave a false promise of 1days. Again i called and talked to Supervisor: Vijay (REF NO:27806572,Date of Callback:23DEC )and he again said 3-4 days as there are leaves in between. On 30th ie today i again called and talked to Nisha who transfered me to Supervisor: Ramdilas who was not ready to listen to me and was very asking me all irrelevent question and when i said i want to talk to your boss he said i dont have a boss and claimed himself to be the owner of Airtel.
Please tell me what to do...atleast i should get the refund of the Rs1500 I gave them.

Airtel/ DTH — Customer registration and poor customer care support

I, Ajeet Singh, purchased Airtel digital TV in Nov. 2009 in Pakur district of Jharkhand, but till date my mobile no. is not registered with customer care. Neither the dealer nor customer care give me satisfactory answer about this. When I contacted customer care on phone then they asked my customer ID and when I spoke the ID then they replied that this is not your's ID. What can I do now? Whether go to cunsumer court or any other options left to me?
Due to this problem I coldn't choose value pack or other services yet.

Airtel — installation not done( poor response and not providing right information)

I am zayan residing in thoraipaakam. have applied for new airtel broadband connection with receipt number 1046848 on 15th august.The salesperson MR PREM said i will get connectionwthin a day. I have already informed that
I need a urgent connection as soon as possible because im doing a project here.I have been calling airtel from past 3 days and no response is there.somebody doesnt pick up phone at all,somebody disconnects the phone,somebody gives no proper information.Just recently i got a message from airtel that we are unable to provide you connection because no coverage in your area.but in my same house my friend has got another airtel broadband connection.How is this possible.They are harrasing me and im wasting my time calling them again and again.This is really frustrating.They promise something and do somehing else.I want the connection urgently otherwise im stuck.PLEASE RESPOND URGENTLY. I HAVE ALREADY PAID THE INSTALLATION FEES ALSO.

AirTel — poor customer care and customer communication

customer care of airtel is the worst service,as it has kept on hold for 30 mins and had disconnected my call after.I think they are now developing the strategies like decoits that to add VAS by default with new sim cards and then like beggars they just wait for customers to call there customer care service for which he has to par 30 paise for 3 min.

in short airtel has changed it's symbol from the beggings of customer the better suggestion from my side is that it should be called LOOTEL........

I am Vikas Shringeri, Jayangar 9th Block, Bangalore. I have taken a new connection of Airtel Broadband LAN on 2nd of July 2011. Customer Executive Murali collected Rs.1000 giving assurance of Activation in 2 days.

Till Today activation is pending. I have called up many times both to customer care and to executive and I got fed up with their assurance.

I am very disappointed with the worst service that your team is offering to the Corporate people like us.

My Form Number is 265047. If you can not set up connection at least arrange for repayment of my money. I have to look for alternate service providers.
I have also register more than 3 complaints but nothing is happened so far.

Thanks Deepak for solving previous problem a month gone I end up with another problem

I have selected ala carte package but selected channels are not displayed, When i called customer care as usual pathetic response and poor customer care...

Not sure, when customer care response will improve. Whenever i call customer care response are not to the point most of the time call get disconnected without solving the problem.

I called customer care to check on my ala carte package but response is to sent mail for any query related to ala carte. Not sure why customer care are not supporting ala carte package even online too not supporting .

It seems they deducted 240 rupee but i am not getting the benefit ..

First Dharmendra attended my query and ask me to hold, call get disconnect

Secondly time Vivek attended again same response(hold the call) call get disconnect

third time Raghul attended and transfer to Hridesh, Finally he assisted me .

I am not sure why every time we need to speak to escalation officer.. for simple problem .. Almost i wasted 2 hour on resolving this problem..
