[Resolved]  Airtel - Postpaid — BPQ Voicemail SMS

Hi,

I received a voicemail message from AT-BPQ on 09.04.2009 and adviced to call at this number [protected]. On calling this no. they engaged my mobile for ten minutes with various information about mobile make, mobile service, year of purchase etc.and asked to TEXT Msg the Name, Address, City, Postal address & their unique code which is[protected] to [protected].

I advice AIRTEL to scrutnize such Junk SMS from their side & keep updating their customers about such Fraud SMS's, so that Airtel valued customer are not cheated by such msgs.

Airtel - Postpaid — Postpaid with airtel - A pain

Hi,

I have been using Airtel postpaid connections for the past two year and been facing hell lot of problems in the last 6 months. During the later part of the last year my bill was bearing a different name and it took nearly one month for them to send me a proper bill in my name. The account number in the bill was mine, the mobile number was mine but only the name was different. But what is happing now is even more disgusting as now Airtel is expecting me to pay a bill which has, 1. Not been sent to me 2. Not even updated in Airtel.in 3. Not even mailed to my e-mail id. There is a technical error at Airtel's end where they are not able to view a bill generated on 21st March. Due to a change in the billing cycle in March, couple of bills got generated in the same month (one on 1st and one on 21st) of which I had received only the bill generated on 1st March (Cleared it). The one that got generated on 21st has not be received at my end nor they are able to view it from their end. But they have been barring my outgoing once in two days stating non payment as the reason. How can Airtel expect its customers to pay the bill which has not been sent to them. This issue has been pending for the past 15 days and nothing has been done to it. When I call them once i two days to get the outgoing released, they do it within 2 hours, but again the O/G gets barred after two days. I had even made a part payment of 50% of their claim regarding the outstanding amount even before getting the bill as a consideration from my end, but the Airtel has been so very irresponsible with their services and doesn't even bother about the customer problems. Their [protected]@airtelindia.com e-mail is a bull as they dont even bother to reply to it apart from the automatic reply that we receive. In Short, AIRTEL IS GOOD FOR NOTHING.

my self sneha, i also got sms from [protected], when i heard that sms, sombody was saying after buzzing song.i disconnect the phone and chk my balance was deducetd by 20 Rp.
I got the same message from TM - BPQ, "I called back", I was Told I have won $2, 500 and I need to fill a form as directed by the IVR over the phone to make the claim. In turn I was given a Claim CODE, Where you would be furnishing this code in any of the further processes regarding the claim. "Man I believed in it". Anyways Thanks for you guys for sharing this usefull information. Between I am a Vodafone Post paid user, Its seems that its not happening only with Airtel Users..

I frequently go to chennai, If Any of you'll can pull in the BPQ's Address from any where send it to me to, [protected]@sify.com.. I'll CHeck on it.

well i got exactly same sms just now.. it said " YOUR NUMBER 9437****** has 1 new BPQ voicemail, Call +[protected].
wen i got this sms i was shoked to receive a voicemail frm a abroad county..so immideatly i contact BSNL orissa coustomer care..and ask them for some assistance... but they told me we dont know anything abut this...which is a great joke!
Well I too got a message from TA-BPQ on today that my number has 1 BPQ voicemail, and to call +[protected]... I called the number and it charged my about Rs. 9.50 per minute... (and i had a low balance already T_T ). They talked for about two minutes... The person said something in Hindi, that they couldn't pick up the call if i call them back now and asked to authenticate stuff (couldn't understand properly because of my bad Hindi understandability)... I later googled up for BPQ and found out what it really was. Thank you! ^_^

Airtel - Postpaid — No action for DND in 2 years

I had registered my phone number on the DND site for Airtel in 2007 and the registration number is S[protected]. But to my shock and surprize I have been getting the calls and SMS's to my number unstopped. I have complained on their site and also written to their nodal officer in Mumbai (Saurabh) after getting the name from their site. But till date no action has been taken on any of them.

Really fed up of the response and do not know if Sunil Mittal really wants to continue this kind of customer handling.

BUT NOW WITHIN DAYS
WE HAVE PLAN 249 WILL BE ACTIVATED AND 1st bill, 2 nd bill paid carefully
but after see the details of bills the outgoing charges will be regurarly and no concession in the plan
i will call customer care but he cannot solve my problem
so plz help me
i agree with this complaint though i myself wasted my bill and i wish i had searched for this info before calling. thanks and i am sure those who claim to have received the money is involved in this scam too.

AIRTEL / POST PAID — DND

Hi,
even after enabling the DND service on my cell phone I'm getting marketing calls. Could someone tell me what can I do for stopping these kind of calls.

Airtel - Postpaid — Unwanted services activated

I am charged around 40-100 rupees every month for some bikini websites and bollywood news,which i have not subscribed since november 2009. I have logged complain in the airtel offices. The common answer I get it send a message. Never ever the message is deliverd-it always comes failed. I called up the call centre I get the same answer and say we can't do it on our end. It has become a very nice way of making money.

Airtel - Postpaid — Refund Deposit

Such a big company called AIRTEL, does not have courtesy to refund my deposit amount of postpaid connection earlier which i had. I am not getting any calls from airtel and also i am not getting services from any of your branch in Mangalore. So kindly help me to get my money back. My mobile No. [protected]. Atleast call me up and inform me that, are you going to give my money or not??

Airtel - Postpaid — non receipt of postpaid bill

I REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY AIRTEL POSTPAID BILLS IN TIME FOR LAST TWO MONTHS IRRESPECT OF SO MANY REMINDERS.ALSO I HAVE REGISTERED THE COMPLAINT WITH AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE AND THAT IS OF ALSO NO USE.HENCEFORTH I REQUEST YOU TO SEND THE BILLS IN TIME.YOUR ACTION WILL BE BETTER APPRECIATED RATHER THAN SPEAKING TO THE CUSTOMERS IN A PLEASENT MANNER.
