[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid Mobile Connection — Poor network connection

Hi!

Since last month (Feb 2013) I am having very poor mobile network connection in Bellandur, Green Glen layout area of Bangalore - 560103. I have raised this complaint several times to the Airtel mobile service provider, however there are no improvements seen. Airtel people only provided assurance by mentioning that they are about to install a new cell phone tower in this area to as there are no airtel tower available.

Also note same complaint was raised by me in Oct 2012 to airtel. That time also they assured to install a new tower to resoleve the issue! But somehow this network issue was resolved in January 2013, however it has deteriorated again.

Myself vipin kumar Ghelot. i have complain so many time to customer care that network problem in cell phone on my resisdance. Req. refen. is 16661862 on dated 11/05/08.and second is 16778877on dated20/05/08.but airtel Exceutive not coming for checking this problem.

Airtel Post Paid — No Network coverage. Poor customer support

I work in Magarpatta in Pune, Maharastra. I have a very serious problem of having almost no network coverage in my office and its almos a year we have been complaining. But the customer service representative tend to unederplay the inmptortance of our complaints. We all are fed with Airtel. All othet mobile companies have network coverage here.

Please Please do something Airtel before you close down shop.

Airtel Post Paid Mobile Connection — Poor network coverage

I am staying in BARC Township, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai. I have Airtel Post Paid Connection (No. [protected]). I have been using the services of this service provider since last about two years. In the beginning the services were good. The connectivity was excellant. But since last few months (after the fire accident in Lower Parel) the network coverage is very poor. In this connection many complaints were lodged on phone. Inspite of many (false)assurances no action has been taken till date. I am compell to use this connection due to the reason that I have no option to opt the services of other service provider on the same number.The irresponsible attitude of the service provider in this regard is highly objectionable.

postpaid hutch connection — network/ connectivity issues

i am located in bangalore, i have a vodafone post paid connection and there are serious connectivity issues since last 2 months.I do not want the general customer care number, i am looking for the correct person responsible in vodafone to handle this as customer care has been helpless in handling this
I do agree that airtekl network coverage is very bad these days. Even some times, when we are trying to call our regular numbers...the resposne would be INVALID NUMBEr...suffereing alot with this kind of service.

Airtel Postpaid Mobile — poor net work

The services of the network are very poor. Several complaints have been lodged through call centre. No action has been taken so far. I can say AIRTEL IS ONE OF THE MOBILE SERVICE PROVIDER WHICH DOES'NT CARE FOR THE CUSTOMERS.

Postpaid Connection — no network coverage in the area

i have called at 121 several times regarding non coverage of the area i.e sadar bazar . i am not able to receive any of the calls becoz of some network problems. I have talked with your customer care executives several times but no requisite action has been taken till date .I last had communication with your executive on 26/08/08 and was given the complaint no.18066855 with the assurance of reverting back within 24 hours but no action has been taken yet.Please look into this unless i will approach consmer forum.

Bharti Airtel — CONNECTION OF MOBILE TO THE INTERNET

I HAVE ACTIVATED MY MOBILE OFFICE SERVICE FROM AIRTEL. NOW I WANT TO CONNECT MY PHONE TO COMPUTER FOR THE ACESS TO THE INTERNET. FOR THIS PROCESS I SHOULD GET SETTINGS FROM THE DATA CALL CENTER BUT WHENEVER I TRY TO CALL THE DATA CALL CENTER THEY ARE TELLING THAT I SHOULD FIRST ACTIVATE MY MOBILE OFFICE SERVICE. EVEN IF MY SERVICE IS ACTIVATED THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME ANY RESPONSE. PLEASE TRY TO SOUGHT MY PROBLEM AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

THe area of interest is Sampigenagar, Ananthnagar Phase III, Electrnic ity, Bangalore. signal strength is poor . Cuts off intermittently. Additional transmitters/receivers may be require to strengthen the Airtel signal.

Airtel Mobile — inadequate connectivity

Airtel customer care sucks! I have complained to them about the bad connectivity for our cell phones in our locality on 06/01/09 at 15.44 hours and the reference # given was[protected]. They promised to come back to me two days later and today is the 13th day of February, and they are yet to respond. I have messaged them many number of times about my interest in their broadband connection and they promptly call back to say "we shall get back to you within 48 hours", and that is the end of the story. This has been happening for close to a year now and although we have their famous "blue boxes" in our locality, there is no connection given. They are more like show pieces now to decorate our streets. Either they tell us that they are not able to upgrade the connectivity or give broadband connection and we shall take our accounts to some other service provider who is more effiecient in this area rather than beat about the bush all the time. Will someone up there listen!

Airtel India postpaid connection — Network connectivity issues

I have a simple issue that was, is and probably would continue to happen.. I'm not getting the proper network in my cellphone in Bangalore, India.

My complaint numbers raised in November 2008 are:

It is disgusting to realize that airtel has not bothered to rectify these issues from the past 5 Months and after repeatedly calling the airtel customer care, the guys in the customer care put a smile into their voice
and tell me that the "technical" team is working on the same.

My calls started getting dropped. I thought it might be an one off issue and raised a complaint. No updates et all. I raised another complaint. I get a call from AIRTEL asking me whether "AM I NOW ABLE TO HEAR THEM
CLEARLY" and when I answered in the affirmative, the complaint was CLOSED! WTF?

From the past 3 days, I have been in touch with the customer care almost 18 times. Spoke to a couple of executives, got my call escalated to a floor manager, Mr. Azharuddin. He asked me to check my simcard in a different cellphone or get a duplicate simcard. I was told the same by another floor manager Ms. Poorna. No bloody change in the status. I paid 75/- and got a duplicate sim card putting in all my genuine trust in these people and thinking that my issue will be solved.

I was also advised by the customer care center, here in Basaveshwaranagar, Bangalore to check the issue with a different cellphone to find out if the issue was with my cellphone. The issue was not with my cellphone.

I had a call again with another floor manager after trying 4 times to reach airtel's toll free helpline 121. Whenever the call got connected, it used to get dropped. Though the same was noted by the customer care executives, none of them were actually realizing that the calls getting dropped was my concern. Talk about BEING DUMB HERE!!!

This floor manager, Mr. Sathish, who handled my last call, is cool enough to tell me that the issue has been "recognized" and he assures me that it would be solved definitely by April End. If that is the case, I have just a
few questions to ask:

WHY THE BLOODY HELL WAS THIS NOT INFORMED TO ME EARLIER?
WHY WAS I MADE TO GET A DUPLICATE SIMCARD?

UPDATE: I get a mail from their customer care center, which asks me to furnish all the details again, the same details which I have been furnishing to their call center executives. The best / worst / dumbest part is that this customer care executive who has mailed me has got my cellphone number wrong.. HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND MY EMAIL!!!

AirTel — Poor Network coverage, poor customer service

I have been using Airtel post paid connection from past 3 years. Over the years the service has degraded to an extent where calls drop, I am unable to make calls, weak and poor signals all within city limits. After complaining, many a times my ticket was closed without prior intimation or settling the complaint and after complaining again I was told that there were facing some challenges since the power shortage / fluctuation due to which the base stations were down ( around september last year). But even now it is the same there are places within Bangalore City limits where there is a disruption or no service. And they are still working to fix the problem!

Customer service is pathetic and there is no set process or guidelines for services, subscription, etc. The website is outdated, customer care executives @ the call center have different divergent views, folks at Relationship Centers again do not have the right or updated knowledge too, you have to check and cross check and if that person be it @ the call center or the relationship center is not there next time you get in touch with them, then you are in for trouble because you will be told a whole new process!

I am just waiting for the phone number portability to be introduced and then I can choose my network.

I don't think this will be of any use but helps in releasing the frustration I have had to endure and I am sure there are others who are dissatisfied or let down by a company like Airtel which makes loud promises about unbreakable bonds unmatched network. Well the network sure is bad and they are breaking bonds with the same people who have got Airtel the position they are in now.

Bharti Airtel Mobile PostPaid Connection — Harrasment from Airtel

Respected Sir / Madam

I have not recieved my Post Paid Bill from Bharti AirTel from last 1 Year. I have already launch a complaint with Bharti AirTel. They had closed all the complaints without knowledge of me & when I call back Customer Support Person they informed that "Sir, due to upgradation we are unable to see your details. Request you to please call after 48 Hours." After 48 Hours callback they replied the same.

Though I have cleared my all dues by Feb 2009 I have suffered a lot in terms of Mental Harrasment. So I called up the senior person Mr. Abbas on his personal Cell Number & he assured me that you will be recieving the bill in next 48 Hours & still I have not recieved the bill even after 15 Days after speaking with Mr. Abbas.

Now I have decided not to pay any Outstanding Amounts & will file a case against Bharti AirTel for Mental Harrasment.

Please assist me in the above case scenario.

POST PAID MOBIL — GPRS CHARGES

SEVERAL MONTHS BACK, GPRS SERVICE WAS DEACTIVATED. IN RECENT BILL DT.[protected], I NOTICED THAT GPRS CHARGES FOR RS. 249/- HAS BEEN CHARGED TO ME. YOU ARE REQUESTED TO CORRECT THE BILL AFTER REMOVING THIS CHARGES.
