[Resolved]  Airtel - Postpaid — Duplicate SIM not Activated

Since I lost my mobile, I got a duplicated SIM card on Saturday, 31st July 2010. I had been told that the SIM card will be activated in 4 hours time.

Today, its 2nd August 2010 and its still not be activated. I visited the Airtel Shop couple of times in Vidyaranyapura. When ever I go there, they said the same thing. It will be activated in 2 hours.

Also, I tried calling the customer care number from another post paid connection on [protected], the representatvie tells it will be activated in 4 hours but, no change happened till now.

I am very frustrated with Airtel's customer service. I am missing so many important calls.

SIM — Duplicate sim has not activated

I have got Pre Paid Duplicate SIM Card on 27/10/08 at 11 Am . of Mobile No [protected] and sim No[protected] from Airtel office SEc 18 Noida in the Name of Jai Prakash M-62 Sourav Vihar Jait Pur badarpur New delhi 110044. I am very Frustrated that it hasnot been activated till now. Please take the immedietly action.

duplicate prepaid SIM — sim not activated

It is requested that my no. [protected] was lost. I had submitted full documents i.e. police report, ID and photograph to m/s campell, gill road, ludhiana(Pb) on 30/12/08.

I recieived sim on that day but even after 5-6 days it has ot been activated/ working at all.
It is giving message 'SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED'.We have contacted dealer so many times but
it is not working so far. Kindly contact[protected] in case any query.

SIM Activation
Dear Sir,

I have purchased a mobile from Airtel service gallary for Rs 50. This was on 26/02/2010 The mobile number given was [protected] I was been told that within a day the connection will get activated.

Now its almost 2 days still the connection is not been activated. Within these 2 days i have called many times to airtel customer care 121,service provider and each time i get a different reply.

One says that the documents are not submitted other says we are working on it and other says that there is a problem with airtel system
