Airtel Pre - Paid — Closing the service every now and then without any reason and warning

I went in for a post paid to pre-paid conversion of my airtel number through the Airtel Relationship centre located at SV Road, Borivali (West) in Mumbai. I was made to go there 9 times to get the work done with utter negligence on the part of the executives sitting in that office simply saying that it is not possible to be done today, etc. sort of statments on a number of occasions when I went there. When it was finally done by giving the amount required to do so, I asked the executives that please check the forms for completeness so that I don't have to come once more begging for your services. My fear turned true when my services were blocked by Airtel without any warning call stating (through an SMS) that the pre-paid enrollment form hasn't been submitted. Without submitting the form, Iam sure my pre-paid services wouldn't have been activated. Though I went to the centre again and they simply said that nothing can be done and I'll have to re-fill the form with all the documents to be attached. I went back home, fetched the required documants and filled the form as I needed the number to be activated. The services started after a day and then suddenly again it has stopped with no incoming and outgoing call facility, that too without any warning call or anyhting. Just an SMS again stating that as per Govt. norms we haven't recieved your pre-paid enrollment form and hence discontinuing your services. I've lost faith in airtel and just wanted to keep my number active so went there 11 times for the same.
In this course of time, I've lost a number of very important business calls, taken leaves from my office at least 7 times for half a day to get my work done. So in all, I've lost several thousand Rupees to go and beg at Airtel's door to get my work done without any concern being shown by the Airtel Employees.
Suggestions, what to be done, anybody?

airtel pre-paid — In-efficient service

I have taken the connection 99804550 in january and I was told that all the verifications will be done within 5 days.
No verification was done and suddenly one day in feb my out going was barred without informing me.
When I called customer care I was informed that my documents were not received. I told I have submitted the documents.
Then after two days out going calls were activated. Now after 5 days I got a address verification call and I was asked when will I be present at that address. As I was out of station I told that I will be available after 8th of march. Next day my no. was barred.
Then on enquirey I was told that the verification was negative so it was blocked and the same no. can not be activated again. Even they didn't refund my Rs.300 which was balance in that sim when it was blocked.

Airtel — Unwanted subscription service

I have been charged Rs. 30/- after every 10 days saying that "You have been renewed for astro service from Airtel".

Please stop these unwanted charges immediately as I do not know how this service is added to my mobile no. [protected]

Airtel — stop my service without reason

Airtel — UNWANTED SUBSCRIPTION OF PAID SERVICE

I am an Airtel mobile connection holder(Mobile No. [protected]). This service provider is being very unfare to me. Earlier it gave me an unnecessarey subscription to a paid service(sap actresses) which was removed only after a complaint in one of the forum.Now they have given me a paid subscription of BOLLYWOOD BUZZ without my authorisation and are deducting regularly for the same.This is an underhand practice which is not fit for an esteemed organisation like AIRTEL. Will Mr. SUNIL MITTAL look into the matter and advise his able leutinents not to involve in such cheap and unethical practices. MANJULA RANI SRIVASTAVA

my cell phone No.[protected] was lost at pandibazar in Chennai yesterday and it was notactivated because someone taken and removed Sim card from the Nokia cell . please provide me the same number for my new cell.what is the procedure for this action.kindly take it my complaint for future complicate.

AirTel — Paid Services

I have been using Airtel,since 2 years(approximately).I used to get some alert SMSs on my mobile.Since I did not subscribed to any services, I believed it is some free service provided by Airtel.
I was never bothered to confirm If it Paid service or Money is being deducted from my Account,AS IT WAS NOT REQUIRED, I DID NOT ACTIVATE ANYTHING, THEN WHY SHOULD I CHECK FOR THAT.Later,I realized balance is getting reduced unnecessarily. When I contacted Airtel,I got to know that, there are around 5 paid services activated on my number.Then I asked them how?Reply was , few are activated by myself (I was Surprised to hear that. Without me Sending a message/call , Airtel claims that I activated it).And they said, Few are through some links in Internet.Again, I did not activated it through Internet even. If a third party can do it from Internet, then WHAT IS THE SECURITY AIRTEL IS PROVIDING?

That is the past story. I complained about this many times.Talked to senior desk twice.(Customer Care Representative connecting my call to Senior desk is another story to narrate - many time they keep me on hold indefinitely saying they are connecting to senior desk.Somehow, calling customer care three or four times repeatedly, every time I manage to speak to the Senior Desk).

Last time, a lady from Customerr care assured me, she will refund all the amount deducted from my account and Will assure that, NO SERVICES WILL BE ACTIVATED WITHOUT MY CONFIRMATION.I was happy and relieved thinking that my time is saved and money is safe.


IT WAS MY FAULT to believe AIRTEL'S assurance.
within days, I got another alert of some film actress. I deleted the message without replying for activation.
next day onwards, getting messages as if I am subscribed to it.

(Note: for all the services activated by Airtel, it happened the same way.Day1 I get message -If you want to subscribe, reply. Day 2 onwards I get alerts as if I am subscribed. BASICALLY, YOU DO NOT AHVE TO DO ANYTHING FOR A VALUE ADDED MESSAGE SERVICE TO ACTIVATE IN YOUR MOBILE.IT WILL GET ACTIVATED BY ITSELF.FUNNY..???).

I AM FRUSTRTAED AND IRRITATED USING AIRTEL, ONLY BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE.

TO SUMMARIZE:
1) PAID SERVICES GETTIGN ACTIVATED ON MY MOBILE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE.
2) I WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY IS DEDUCTED IN THE PAST 2 YEARS FOR THIS.
3)EVERY CALL TO CUSTOMER CARE IS CHARGED.

I WANT FUND BACK(AMOUNT DEDUCTED FOR ALL THE SERVICES EXCEPT BALAJI SERVICE WHICH ACTIVATED MYSELF,CALL CHARGED FOR CUSTOEMR CARE INTERACTION AND A DECENT COMPENSATION FOR WASTING MY TIME AND FOR TEH FRUSTRAION INCURRED DUE TO THIS).
