[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — Not working on Roaming and no top up

I under signed Mr. Marcellous had purchased Airtel new Prepaid connection from Bangalore valid for 2 years from Retail agent. They gave me understand that I could re top the card from anywhere in India.I came to Bangalore & Chennai on business and try to top up my prepaid card.And my surprise I saw that it is showing 2 balances like current balance and A2A STD VOICE BAL. I top up my card times in Chennai for 222 Rs. And both the times my current balance shows 0 Rs. balance. And my A2A STD VOICE BAL 697 Rs. I cannot make any call and nor recd any calls.

I went to Airtel customer showroom at T. Nagar, chennai and they told me to talk to Prepaid Hotline. And customer care executive inform us that they cannot handle any queries besides Chennai & Tamilnadu sim card.Then I think if they are sitting in call centre and cannot resolve my problem then what's use. Tamilnadu is part of India and Airtel is available everywhere in India. I believe that I don't have to go to Bangalore again to resolve my problem. I had spoken to Mr.Maharajan who heads Postpaid business in this branch and he talked with some Mr.Venky. After talking with Mr. Venky's he try to make understand the technical things which is no mean to customers and apparently he landed without any solutions and my disappointment.

I'm NRI staying in Thailand and bought this local sim card for my convenience within India.If there is problem in topping up the prepaid connection and the particular company don't help us then where should we go to solve our problem. I had wasted my Rs. 700 which I could have used during my business visit. I cannot call outside and cannot recd.any call due to above problem and ultimate suffrer is me and los of business.SinceI had given my mobile no. to my business contact they cannot get in touch with me.

Is there any authority of forum who really looks into this matter and my other friends. I saw in advertisement that JAGO GRAHAK JAGO...

Please heed my dilema and help me on this particular matter.

Airtel Prepaid Card — nonoperative of prepaid connection

Dear sir,
i have purchased a new prepaid card atleast a month back for my mobile.The no.is [protected] which is non operative . this is showing the message limited services.The local airtel office at Mawana ( meerut ) u.p. india is not giving any response and also not ready to give the no. of zonal office etc. they are also misguiding me by saying that it will be done.i am daily followup with the office.i am too much fed up there such behaviour. pl help me out in this.

Airtel Prepaid Card — stopped the serveces

my mobile no. is +91 [protected] i had bought the sim in january but my service is stopped without any notice where i had two years validity in my card, in balance inquary this massage is sent that i am not a prepaid subscriber, thanks

Airtel Prepaid Card — Horrible Customer Service.

I have taken a Prepaid Card from Airtel Mobile. BUt the service offered is Horrible. To activate GRPS i had to sent 10 messages. Then to download Mobile office i have already sent so many messages but still i have not got any setting for the same. When i tried accessing Internet through mobile the Sim Card registration failed.

Presently i am in mumbai and not able to call Pune customer care. The number given to me was 121 and [protected]. both these numbers doesnt exist. They have also started deducting charges for GPRS. Please from where to send a legal notice to them

I purchased a prepaid connection from Airtel at Hiranandani Estate - Thane - Mumbai. I'am a flat owner and submitted the documents required for getting the connection. The connection was given to me after 2 days. I was travelling and I gave this connection to my wife for contacting in case of any emergencies. After 2 days o[censored]sing the connection, the out going calls were barred and there was a message from Airtel asking to submit the enrollement form. I asked the agent who sold me the prepaid conncetion and he said that the same application will be submitted as the distributor's rep has to activate the account.(I'am surprised!!! after activating the connection). I remained calm and this is now 10 days old and the agen is selling me a different story everytime. This is atrocious and I tried to contact their nodal officer number [protected] and their applelate authority [protected] but in vain. Their toll free number of 121 and [protected] is not allowing to talk to the customer rep directly. For a company like Airtel, this is going to be delterious if they do not take stern action on this. I request the concerned to do the needful at the earliest and I find 5408 complaints on this company which speaks about their attiude towards customers

Airtel Prepaid — AIRTEL TOP-UP

Airtel - Prepaid Card — Not receive any

My a/c balance cut by Rs.30 , i contact 2 customer care but did not give reponse. Even Toll Free no. is not contact with Customer Care executive.

TOLL FREE NO is nothing but ADVERTISEMENT .....they are not providing servise of problem solution....

I contact more that 5 times to CC Office but did not receive aby response.

Airtel Prepaid — HORRIBLE SERVICE

I intend this to be the nastiest comment I have ever written because I have received the nastiest service ever. Thank God I am a priviledged Vodafone Customer. I bought a pre-paid Airtel simcard for my very close friend who is an American national. After 7 days the phone stopped workin. we kept wondering why and kept making calls to the local Dealer and Airtel Customer Service to look into the matter. I had forwarded my passport copy and pan card copy and photograph as supporting documents for the simcard. I was really beginning to get worried about it. Finally on January 28, 2010 I walked into an Airtel Store at Flora Fountain, Mumbai to find an unfriendly Representative Mr.Zaheer Abbas who told me that my number reflects in someone else's name and he cannot do anything about it. I explained the situation to him patiently told him I am a troubled customer but he continued being unconcerned, arrogant, indifferent and rude about my inconvenience. He kept telling meto go to the Dealer. Obviously I had first tried to get the problem solved through the Dealer and only after no result had I decided to take the matter further but he obviously dint understand that. He kept tlling me that there verification system is very strict and such a mistake is of possible and etc.......well at the end of the day it was my Dealer who upon several requests decided to look into the matter only to realise that there was a mistake at airtel's end in entering the informaton ad therefore my simcard was barred.
well in either case, it is Airtel's dealer, Airtel's Distributor and airtel Customer Service that must take responsibility for their goof-ups. I understand they are wide spread but I strongly suggest that if you canot take care of your customers, do not run a service for them.
I can understand a mistak but I cannot understand horrible, arrogant and indifferent service.
Truly a pathetic expeience,

I am Javed Sayyed i am using airtel prepaid card since 4 months today i have came to bangalore for official visit and suddenly service provider stoped my service, and my family members were worried while my boss fired on me .I recharge after coming to bangalore of Rs.75 but i dint got any balance while i am not reciveing any call my total sehedule lost due to my service provider . I am enclosing all the recharge details below. i want u take strict action against them and resolve my problem as soon as possible

dear
the worst customer care i have seen in my life.bloody no one picking the call n hold nasty music talking ireesponsible charecter.i am telling to all my friends no one should take bloody airtel sim card or broad band.evry time charging money for rs 30 in my number nd trying to call bloody nasty 198 holding [censored] computer talk.i am sending this mail due to lost my temper in all response.my number is[protected].i know no one will call me for this.
My name is suryakishore i m from andhra pradesh my cell no:[protected]. i year back i recharged it .50ps plan with some amount 30 or 32 i dont remember, after 4-5 months i received a message stating recharge with Rs:6/- for per second. I have done it and my plan was changed to this, and the .50ps plan was not there in the starting i dont know what happened but 2 months later once i got doubt and observed and saw lateral what is happened and happening even now is see:
I m using sony Ericsson k550i

1) I talked wantedly for 35 seconds for airtel no. instead cutting 0.35ps 0.37ps was cut. this fraud of airtel was observed by me from side for 3 months. this happened since 5 months.

2) I contacted regarding the issue but no use he said many calculations and i said OK and ended call.

3) recently in past month i observed the talk value also reduced. for 30 RC he raised from 21 to 25. now suddenly he decreased in past month to Rs24/- and now to Rs22/- 4 days back
i called a Idea number i spoke for 38 sec and i got a service message saying " last call duration is 39 sec and charged 0.42ps" this not only once from last 4 days stilll happening. later i called 121 call center and told the issue he said ur "6 rupees per second billing is over so ur number is changed to old 50ps plan from now on r being charged for per minute 0.50ps per minute.
4) after ending the call again i called a IDEA number and spoke for 90sec adn i was charged 1.26ps

Airtel Prepaid — top up not updated

Dear Sir/Madam,

I got the message from Airtel stating the documents need to be submitted and on the same day i submitted the same. but still they disconnected my service (both incoming and outgoing).

Called customer care to report the lady spoke with respect and rigidly. i told her i'm not satisfied with your reponse & service. After few day it started working automatically.

My husband recharged my account online. and i got the message its successfull. but its not updated in the balance.

Details ; 04.01.2011 at 10.57 pm for 50Rs. i got the message from 555555

" Dear Customer, Your recharge request was processed successfully. Top up request for Rs 50 talktime of Rs43.33"

Will this be updated. i'm running out of balance now.


Not satisfied with the Airtel service. because i got the message again to submit the documents.
