Dear Sir,
I am user of Airtel prepaid mobile.Ihave never used the facility of Vas Pack 99 for ringtone download etc.But still it is activitaed on my mobile no.[protected].

    Hi,

    AirTel is the most worst service provider compared to other providers. I took one prepaid connection in Jul 2005 ( [protected]) and recharged with 1 year vaidation card on Apr 2007. After 6 months my SIM card blocked and I went AirTel office. They told that this no. is deactivated and it is gone to recycle. I did not understand how it is deactivated even validity is there? So I took another connection from Vodaphone and now I am not facing any issues with this new connection.my advice is please dont go for AirTel prepaid connection

    I regret to inform you that i was lost my mobile last four days back and i was launch the complaint to the airtel customer care. My complaint no 4900 on dated 06.12.09, 25613100 on dated 07.12.09, 560201 on dated 08.12.09. But no any one executive solved my problem. My mobile no is [protected] and my name is Pawan kumar jain.

    Use another Airtel phone and call the 121 (or their call centre number). They will ask your mobile number and the number printed on your SIM CARD. You should get the PUK and the PIN code from them thereafter. Should take a few mins.

    Airtel — Please dont go for Airtel

    Recently I have moved from Vodafone to Airtel using MNP. I took connection from Chrompet Airtel relationship centre in chennai. At that time I have submitted airtel Landline bill for address proof and my company ID card zerox for ID proof and they said this is enough. After some days I got SMS from airtel office to submit my address proof and ID proof. When I receive second message on[protected], I have immediately called 121 and asked customer care officer about my pending document to be submitted. But he said nothing is pending from my side and asked me to ignore that message.

    On[protected] evening @ 4.15 PM I got one more call from airtel office and asked me to submit ID proof alone as company ID card zerox is not accepted for ID proof. Also he asked me to send ID proof through mail. Within 2 hrs (6.10 PM) on the same day I have sent scan copy of my PAN card through mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com from my company mail Id. On the same day @ 7.30 pm my connection got disconnected without any prior intimation.

    I don’t bother if they disconnect only my outgoing service. But they totally suspended my connection and am getting error as "SIM Registartion Faild"

    When I contact to customer care, they asked me to resubmit all the documents as they are missed my earlier submitted documents.
    I have talked with Nodal officer and Appellate officer, but no use. Whenever I send mail to customer care then they will reply with some static content which are not at all relevant to my problem.

    Today morning[protected] again I have submitted all the set of documents but still I didn't get any response.
    Please be careful when you move to airtel.
    Am running fourth day without connection.
    I don’t want lose my number. Is there any possibility to move another provider with the same number?
    Please help....

    I'm Raghunadh i using a number [protected] from past 4 years , A week back i got a message for submitting of documents as im out of station i could not able to submit the documents, my calls were barred from 17th June and i submitted the documents today i.e on 19th June and called customer care executive people for activation, customer care executive has informed me that the number is made as a free number and released into the market. How come this happened i don't understand it seems like u don't want the customers to stay with you............ I need a clear explanation on this from the Airtel and set the connection up asap, other wise i will sue you in the consumer court.

      My name is Akshit Jain, I am using the AIRTEL BROADBAND CONNECTION.

      I am moving to Australia. So, I want you to disconnect my internet connection by clearing all my account dues and ending my account. But after my repeated attempts to disconnect my airtel connection, no steps have taken, inspite i get my regular bill in against my connection, keeping it functional.
      so plz take some immediate steps in against my complaint, I will be highly pleased .

      I am using airtel postpaid connection since from last more than one year. Today(6th sept 07) at aroun 1:15 pm Bharti Airtel limited has disconnected my connection. when i asked them at there outlet the has given the excuse that their local office of Mandsaur (place from where my connection is issuied) has been roll up, they has disconnected it without any telecalling, sms, or any letter. my mobile no is [protected].

      Your company team representative Shri Rajesh Jha [protected] booked above Plan installation in the end of Nov.2007, when the work of laying cable duct was going on in this colony, OFFERING US THIS FACILITIES No security deposit, Totally free Install/ activation into your living room plus free Broadband upto 550 MB down load and FREE telephone calls worth Rs.550(local Rs.475 +STD Rs. 75 at nominal rates). All These entire services will be available @ Rs. 550 plus service tax which will available from 4th Dec. 07 , The company will also provide us the Free INTERNET BILLING with Pass Word service so that you can check the billing position as well as details of your calls record as and when required. BUT BEYOND these free calls, the rates of calls will become @ Rs. 1.1/min anywhere in INDIA. After completing the work of booking , he demanded a cross cheque of Rs. 350/- towards the cost of one telephone instrument to be installed at the time of connection, for which we agree .By that time, We are using the MTNL broadband services which was later on disconnected so as to get efficient services from the Air Tel company. but the experience is not good. as expected.
      We are surprised to note that in this first bill activation charges was adjusted against our PNB cheque worth Rs.350/-,which is totally wrong and objectionable.       Reference your letter dated June 11, 2008, xerox copy enclosed for your reference, acknowledging the receipt of my payment against your bill no. 129198 dated 21/05/2008, and my request for the discontinuation of the service made vide my letter dated June 3, 2008.

      On receipt of your above mentioned letter and the subsequent telephonic discussion I had with your staff regarding the surrender of the above mentioned connection, I had hoped things have been settled as per my directions and wishes. However I regret to note that you have paid little heed to my request and have continued to raise false bill on me regularly without fail. Since then I have been served with two bills No. 416937 dated 21/06/2008 for Rs. 75.15 and recently with another bill no. 720972 dated 21/07/2008 for Rs. 458.18 which includes monthly charges for the period 20/06/2008 to 19/07/2008 for Rs. 383.03.

      My above mentioned letter dated June 3, 2008 was a clear instruction from my part for the surrender of the service and was duly acknowledged vide your above referred letter. Then how was this fresh bill and demand been raised? The only logical conclusion one can derive is that in order to shore up your claims for false efficiency before your bosses you are prepared to adopt any means and the easiest one is to suppress a disconnection, to keep on raising false bills and after a time send legal notices to them and force these innocent people to pay.


      The xerox copies of all the above mentioned bills and correspondence are enclosed for your reference. Please note unless I receive a categorical reply to this correspondence along with a no due certificate within seven days from your receipt of this letter, I shall be constrained move the appropriate forum for the redress of my grievances.

      A copy of this letter is being forwarded to your lawyer, Mr. Chandrasekhar Sarkar informing him of the illegal activities of his client as well as to your head office informing them of the illegal, incompetent and unjustified activities of their Kolkata staff.

      Airtel Broadband — I DISCONNECTED THE CONNECTION BUT CALL AND SMS FOR PAYING THE BILL IS COMING REGULARLY

      Hi ,
      I had the broadband connection of airtel. Due to change in job I moved Gurgaon in Month of April -10. I called AIRTEL Broadband customer care and ask them to close my connection.Customer care logged my complaint.
      Few days later I got call from airtel asking the reason for disconnecting the conection and they also given me the option to transfer the connection to any of my friends/relative.I denied there offer and said to disconnect my connection. After a week I got the call from customer care to pay my due amount of a week so that they can close my account.I paid the amount as said by the CC. But the story starts now after TWO month I start getting call regularly from customer care ,that I have not paid thier bill and my account is still active.This month as well I got SMS and Mail to pay bill of 4 months.
      Please suggest what shall I do .I any case I am not going to pay the BILL as I have not used thier service because I have changed residence.

        Airtel — No tower Coverage

            I am an user of airtel postpaid connection and my cell no is [protected].I got this connection as an add on benefit to my husband's mobile as he enjoys a corporate connection with airtel. My husband Mr.Subarna Shyamroy contact no [protected] is a corporate customer of airtel as he is working for reliance industries.My no was working fine untill a couple of days when it started giving the message "sim card registration failed" It was an absolutely absurd situation if the connection suddenly gets hanged when u r in the middle of the day and out of home and all connectivity is lost!!! The same thing happened with me and i was absolutely lost and did not knew what to do. I frantically called up the two bloody so called helpline no's of airtel [protected] and 121 but none of those executives cud solve the problem insted kept me on hold for long long duration and kept on transferring the call from 1 dept to the other!!! The help line no's are also worthless where half of the options which are being constantly and meaninglessly repeated by the IVR does not work!!!

            Till date despite of several efforts by both me and my husband my sim is not working and it is still showing the same message as "sim card registration failed"and I want a resolution for the same.Its absolutely unacceptable from a service provider of such an utility service like a cellphone which is indispensible in today's world.
            I dont know whether any action will be taken in this regard or not but as a citizen of a democratic country I have the rights to voice out my grievances and I pray that stern actions should be taken against these kind of irresponsible service providers like AIRTEL!!!

                The Airtel Representative called me once to ask me wheather i want to change my bill plan...to this i replied... i will think and let you know...but that does not mean that i want the bill plan.

                The Airtel has changed my bill plan without any notification and now bill charges have increased. Due to which they have cancelled all my outgoing and incoming calls.

                    Airtel Prepaid — Outgoing/incoming facilities withdrawn without any prior intimation.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I have been registered on 5th of this month and been issued with sim.my mobile is no.[protected].i have submitted my PAN Card copy, address proof and my ex serviceman id.

                    On 8th of this month my outgoing and even incoming facility have been withdrawn without any prior intimation. I contacted the retailer yesterday morning in this regard; he said the services would be activated within 24 Hours. But as of now it is not done. Your costumer care executive has not given any proper solution. He is saying that you resubmit your documents.

                    But why should i? I am working with a multinational company and I need to have my number in serviceable condition at all the time. But here in this case you have blocked even my incoming also.

                    I have availed your postpaid service for almost 2 years in Andhra pradesh and never faced any kind of problem. And that was the reason I have chosen Airtel again. But you are disappointing me. I was surprised when your custmor care executive has asked that chhattisgarh is a state or district during address verification telephonically by you Bhopal office.

                    Kindly look into the matter and do the needful as i cant afford this inconvenience anymore.

                    Airtel — SIM card blocked without any proior intemation

                    Hi,

                    I have shifted to Chennai in February'2011 and have taken up two Airtel SIMs (for me and my wife) from a vendor at Velachery on 3-Feb-2011. On 4-March'2011 all our outgoing and incomming calls were barred. on 5-march i called up customer care to find out that they have blocked our sim cards as they did not get our documents!!!! They did not even inform us that they have not got the document.

                    We have been using Airtel for the last 8 years in different parts of the country. We are out of touch from the world. They say, the same number can not be used anymore. we have updated all our known pepole of this numbers, set bank account numbers for the number and many more.

                    Losing the number will call a big trouble for us.

                    Hope, this complaint will make a point to them.

                      I am trying to get two of my prepaid numbers activated and i am listening to different comments every time i call the airtel executives. Furthermore i have t0o tell them my entire story everytime i call up. Now they are referring me to the Airtel relationship office
                      this is sandeep bansal from kanpur.i have purchased dth on 3rd january(customer ID [protected]) and it took 15 days to install after calling so many times...again i have problem since 5th march and am continuously calling to call centre and local dealer for my problem and no body is listning and problem remain same. in Pukhrayan where this dth is installed dealer has given contract to some other company for seeing the problem.

I have registered the complaint many times to customer care and they will make some complaint status call after but there is no resolution. My complaint is still open. I am fed up with this and I am forced to use land line.
                        Is this happens due to a weak signal or lack sufficient network.
                        I am one of the oldest customer and please put this complaint in priority.

                          I totally agree with you. I am having a similar problem with my connection to GPRS getting disconnected within 15 seconds after connection. I contacted Airtel as well and they simply said to deactivate the connection and then reactivate again. I did that as well and yet its not working. The same problem arises with my other phone as well when i put my sim card in it. So its clear that its a network problem. When I told them so, they said they can do nothing more about the problem. Even the messages sent to their 2567 server for Airtel Mobile Office settings gets failed everytime. It never reaches that server. I had to manually get the settings. I really hope Airtel would do some thing about this. On a lighter note though, My other name is Chetan as well, so is it some hidden agenda of Airtel of giving a poor service to Chetans out there? :P
                          i am facing similar problem from 4days i complained them but didn't resolved yet i hope they will look into the matter after complaining to them they should refund the money as it is its not workin so for they are charging us can some one make them wake up

                            I got a sms fro airtel recharge service regarding recharge for Rs 96 for upfront validity extension for 15 days and for life within 7 days. I recharged my mobile no [protected] with the same through icici bank.

                            However to my dsismay the validity did not get extended. Further i tried extending my validity through *144*030# as well this too didnt work after trying for several times.

                            I tried calling the customer care literally 50 times a day, the call never got through.

                            I have been so appreciative about the services of airtel for the past 5 yrs i've been using it, but all the image i had of airtel came crashing. Now i feel it is worser than Govt owned sick public sectors. All the tall claims made by airtel is a farse and is only interested in milking people and providing no valu added service.

                            For making false promotional claims i shall be constrained to drag airtel to the consumer court on the matter.

                                AirTel — Airtel Land line disconnection

                                I requested Airtel to disconnect my land line phone. Request was palced on 15-Feb-2011. First they directed me a retention officer who suggested me advantages to keep the phone connection. But when I mentioned that I am not living at the address for past 5 months, she agreed and quoted me reference no.[protected]. I was told billing would stop in 48 hours and phone disconnected within 7 days.
                                Unfortunately, the phone line is still working and me and my are still getting phone calls from Airtel suggesting I continue with the phone connection.
                                I doubt if complaints in the forum solve any problem but atleast people will be mentally prepared when they go for disconnecting their line.
                                I completely agree with all the complaints. Because I am facing the similar issues from January. I have to disconnect my landline and two mobile numbers. I don't know what to do and what kind of action can be taken by the customer care attendants who didn't disconnect my services yet.

                                        i am abdul maajeeth..my land line number is [protected]..i am not getting the monthly landline bill...my last date is 17th ...last month bill i didnt get still now...same think happened last month also...i have given complaint last month ...no response from ur side...pls kindly take action about this issue...
