Hi,

I'm Chetan V and my concern is I have activated the Airtel Online service on my Mobile number +[protected] and I'm using Sony Ericsson W810i handset.

I have activated this service on 15 July 08 at 02:36 AM and also got the confirmation saying the service is active. But I have not yet received the settings on my Mobile.
I also contacted the Customer care and spoke to the folks over the call and they sais the Settings had been sent Manually but I'm not sure to what extent it is true because they said within couple of minutes the settings will be sent. I spoke with almost three folks and they said its already been sent and thereby I will be able to utilize the service.
But till now I've not received the settings and not able to use the service.

Is this the way the AIRTEL gives the service to its CUSTOMERS?????????????????
If you people cannot give proper service then why do you introduce all these stupid services????????

If you really care for the Customers then please don't cheat them by this way nor do the needful on time or refund the money back.

How many imes do I need to inform you guys that I am not able to use the Airtel Online service on my mobile number +91 [protected].

I dont know what you people are gonna do but it high time. Today at any cost I must be able to use and access the service.

I have never experienced such a worse service with any other service provider...

friends card-mobile — service is blocked

my mobile number is [protected].My service was blocked due to non-availability of documents.I have submitted the said documents 10 days before, but still my service is not yet started.
I had submitted my documents at Airtel shoppee, Sadanand Hotel, Market yard, Sangli- Maharashtra.

i have Airtel sim card and in the date of 30 march I receive a message of renewed 3 days you will be charged rs 98 for 1 gb valid for 30days
but net pack never renewed .and then customer care said pack is deactvate in date 3/4/13 wednusday .night one PM but i cant deactivated ...

what will i do ...plese help me another i will port my sim in another company...

    Dear Sir,

    I m Nitin N. Haldankar having retail shop of mobiles as digital creation at sanqulim in Goa. I m selling a product of Airtell for last one year both simcards and vovchers. I also purchase a E-recharge from distributer and starts to transfer balance from my sim. My no is [protected] and sim sn no is[protected]. After using it for some days it gets blocked and my balance on dat sim is above Rs.1200/-. For last 4 months i m contacting Mr. Javed which is airtel marketing exective but he did nothing. He also stops my vovchers stocks from distributor. Then i contact Mr. Rayan from Airtell Head Office Goa. He is also neglecting me after calling so many times. I Called both of them more than 100 of times in last 4 monts. Now my business of airtell is totaly stopped because of not supply by distributor. Finaly today I wrote to you. So please do something and solve my problem and return my cash which gets blocked for last four months.

      My mobile No. of AIRTEL (PREPAID) IS [protected]. On 21st June, 200 vide Transaction ID No. [protected], at the Relationship Centre situated at Indiaranagar, Bangalore (Near BDA Complex), the connection was recharged after paying an amount of Rs.498/- for a validity of ONE YEAR period. After that immediately a confirmatory message came confirming the transaction. But, from that date, till now, ( i.e., 9.25 pm of 12th July, 2008) for three to four times a message came from a number 64611010 by which we have been thanked for using AIRTEL LIVE SERVICES and incidentally in all the occasions, we have not at all used that AIRTEL LIVE and no downloading has taken place. The last occasion is the one when the message was received on 12th July, 2008 at 8.53 pm and immediately, Rs.10/- has been deducted from the balance. When we have not at all downloaded or used that Airtel Live Services, What is the rationale in deducting the amounts from the balance. Money is not growing on trees. It is coming to me and many of the public by hard work. Do not indulge in robbing our money in this fashion.

      In the meanwhile, to avoid these headaches again and again, I had sent a message PLIVE CNCL to 222 on three to four occasions. Everytime a message is being sent, there will be a confirmatory that they will respond within 24 working hours. But, even though 5 to 6 days have been passed, that 24 working hours have not come to the Airtel persons. What age are we living in? I want a refund of all the funds that have been wrongfully deducted from the balance of mobile no. [protected]. Moreover, a mail may please be sent ([protected]@rediffmail.com) as to what is the procedure for cancelling the connection once for all.

        I am having 17 sim cards registered in my name : Mr. Pankaj Yerwa,

        The nos. of my 17 sims cards are as below, these cards are with my employees, all are having a single account no. :

        I have not received any bill for these nos. from the last 2 months, last month I received an sms mentioning that I need to pay before the due date and the payment was made, with assurance from your customer care that I will receive an e-bill for the same. Till date I have not recieved any e-bill for last month.
        Today I have again received an sms from Airtel saying that, its my last day today and I need to pay. I have not received any e-bill for the same. I have disabled my paper bill from last month. Do I have to pay the amount without receiving the bill?

        I have also made several calls to your customer care number, the customer care agents are very unpolite and are least interested in understanding the customers problems.

        Please refer to the below email, the complaint no.[protected]mentioned in below email ) has been deleted, this is what I come to know today from your customer care agent (Ms. Jyoti ), after I call them for the e-bill. The reason for deletion of this complaint no. is also not know to them. Can I get a clarification for the same?

        I also have spoken to the floor manager Mr. Vijay Bhardukar, who was extremely unpolite, mannerless and inefficient to understand my problem instead he banged the phone down, without giving me a satisfactory solution.

        Initially when I took all the connections, I have requested for paper bill, later I converted it to e-bill and I did recieved a bill for all the 15 nos. I had that time, later I added 2 more connections and with that I stopped getting an ebill for any of the numbers.

        My only request to the company is to please send me a consolidated e-bill for all the 17 nos. to my email id an the password for the same to my mobile no. [protected], like I was getting previously. I fail to understand why this service was disabled.

        Today is my last date to pay the bill, and if I don't the bill, how do you expect me to pay the amount? I raised the same question to Mr.Bhardukar and upon which he replied that I need not pay the
        late fee. I asked him to put the same statement on email and he refused to do so.
        Does the floor manager or your customer care agent have the authority to waive off the late payment charges and make false commitments to customers? Is this a kind of a joke that they are cracking with customers?

        After all the harrassment and trouble I have undergone after talking and emailing to your customer care, I expect a responsible reply asap.

        I also need to know, what happens to my late payment charges, if I don't receive a bill from your end till the last day? Why should the customer bear the late payment fees for the company's fault?

        If my queries are not sorting out asap I will be forced to surrender all my 17 sim cards and opt for another service provider.

        i dont receive the bill from last 2008 month of april the courier boy recieved the bill himself we have complained on this number [protected] date-1-4-09 at 1:09 pm and 01:12 and 01:16 my call countionesely by your coustumer care officer after that i received the number of your nodle officer and i call him he heared my problem and dissconnected my call i cant stand no more your service and your local dealer cut my outgoing with informed me so that, s why i have mentely& financely distrubed so if you dont solved my problem with in a day so i see you in court .

        Same here, I have not seen a single goddamn bill since i took the connection. I use to receive a stupid SMS every time stating that "Your bill has been sent to som "RIDICULOUS" address. I noticed a spelling mistake in the email address, and I called the customer care ("customer Scare" rather) and informed them about this. inspite of telling them innumerous times they keep on sending the bill to a wrong email address. But somehow, i used to go to some Airtel payment shop and used to pay the bills. Its horrible to be a victim of their customer harrazment program at their most hated payment centers. (one among them is the one which is located in Koramangala, Bangalore.) This time purposly i am not paying the bill and I am waiting for some monkeybutts from airtel to call me so that i can sue them.

        AirTel — Not receiving post paid bills at time

        Hello, i have airtel post paid connection since the last 6 months. Intially i used to recieve bills on time but, since past 2-3 months i have not received a single bill. and the customer care executive calls every other day to ensure i pay the bills. But how can i know my bill details without receiving it?. The service is really bad and whenever i try to call on 121 there is some stupid and unnecessary phone adverstisements. The customer care executives are quite clueless about the service and give you a reference number just for the sake of it.

          I am having a COCP connection-[protected] on the name of T and T Motors Ltd.
          In the month of may we purchased some COCP & COIP connections having INDUSIND BANK -225 PLAN, I also buy one connection-[protected].
          At the time of giving connection sales executive Mr. Kapil-[protected] promised that our previous nos.Plan will also be changed so that our internal nos.will be free.
          But till today the plan have not been changed, Regarding this we also talk to Mr.Romit Chawla (Boss to Mr. Kapil), But they all give false commitment & our Problem is not rectified
          Now we are fed up & thinking of surrendering all connections
          Please this is last hope for us.Kindly look into the matter & get our problem rectified

            Dear sir/ma;m,
            my mom's airtel no is [protected]..I myself went to airtel outlet here in mayur vihar phase-1 to get life time validity..i asked the customer care executive to get me best offer as a normal guy does..she told me ;its 295 with talk time 10 rs...hence it was airtel outlet so i trusted her and got it on 14-7-08..when i came home and started checking messages sent by airtel to my no..I found that life time validity is coming to 196 rs with 10 rs talk time and last date for life long validity is 15-708..I was shocked ;even customer care executive cheated me by not disclosing offer given by company and overcharging me 100 rs extra ..
            I felt very cheated and humiliated and making fool of myself.I went to outlet and talked to that executive and head of that outlet..but no positive responce...
            AIRTEL IS WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE GIVEN TO CUSOMERS AND AIRTEL EXECUTIVE WITH HEAVY MAKE -UP SITTING THERE ARE HOPELESS AND NOT AT ALL TRUSTWORTHY..THEY ARE THERE TO CHEAT CUSTOMERS AND MAKE FOOL O[censored]S...BE AWARE..

            I agree with you. I also had a very bad experience with airtel mayur vihar phase-1 outlet. I have been waiting for micro sim for my cell phone for the last 1 month, and these guys are real . they ask me to come in a week's time, and when i come again, they give another weeks time and so on. I have had 7-8 visits to this outlet, and these guys are good for nothing. specially the manager sitting at the end corner. he is a such a , who doesn't know how to behave with customers and his staff members.

            finally i had to give up, and disconnect my 5 years old airtel number. i switched to vodafone.
            earlier i thought bsnl and mtnl are the worst, but now i feel airtel is even worse.

            i'm glad i never have to visit the airtel phase-1 outlet.

            Just a small visit to a get a number changed to airtel was a harrowing one.Nobody bothers to hear u out. all of them are very busy at all 5 desks. i would rather change my number to vodafone now.
            a connection for broadband at the same center had been a difficult proposition.
            Airtel is good but this particluar shop is pathetic...
            airtel mayur vihar ph-1 is . they people infact dont deserve any job in the world. for anythg u go there, they say dial cust care from landline near door.also they have zero knowledge about any damn thing. moms swear i have not ever seen such duffer people and sucking store. infact PAN wala shop has better knowledge compared to what they have.

                I am working in Delhi and my wife is working in Rewari Haryana, therefoe I was having one lifetime prepaid connection from Airetel ( no. is [protected]), as in vacation i.e. during May June we stay in Delhi, before shifting to Delhi on Ist may I gor the connection recharded with Rs.100/- (though I was having more than Rs.900 balance on my phone), just to complete the formality of recharging every six months. In the last week of May I received a message on the phone that you get it recharged with Rs.200 every six monhs otherwise connection will be closed and subsequently it was closed also. When I approached Airtel outlet in Delhi they told me to approcah rewari office, but as we were in Delhi till 30th June it was not possible for me to visit rewari office. On 30th June we approcahed the Rewari office and submitted all documents reqiured, but unfortunately the number has not been reconnected. This number is important for me for two main reasons. 1. The number is printed on my son I-card of school for emergency contact and 2. There is a balance of more than Rs.900 on this connection. This connection is being used by us since Oct. 2006

                    I am using Airtel prepaid service. But from past 12 months I am facing verry bad coverage problem.
                    The signal strength is very poor at our residence which is at Kharagpur, West Midnapur, West Bengal.
                    The voice breaks during any call both incoming and outgoing and the problem is both indoor and outdoor.
                    I complained on customer care innumerable times but till now I got no solution. Every time I complain on Customer Care they just give a time and when the time expires the problem remains same as previous.
                    And now I am feedup of complaining again and again.

                    I'm using airtel from 3 yrs .. All is good in Airtel But mobile Office rental is too high 498 rs/month ..Whether in Aircel, it's just only rs 98/month .. I know in aircel speed is half of airtel but the rental is 5 times smaller than AIRTEL .. Now it's reduced to 1536 mb in a month . Previous was unlimited .. So I'm requesting airtel to please look after this & reduce mobile office rentals .

                      Hi,
                      I am a prepaid card holder of airtel prepaid service. My card is a 'Friends' card. With this I can form a group with four other Friends card holders & enjoy a call rate of 10paise/min. You can break from the existing group anytime you want & can form a new group or join another group. I formed my group with my three friends. Some days later(In the month of May) I wanted to break from the group & wanted to join another group. But whenever I tried so I would get a service reply, " You were unable to break from the group." I contacted the Airtel customer care & inormed about the problem numerous times. At first the Customer Care Associate told me that there is a technical problem with the system and numerous other customers were acing the same problem. They further told me that they are unaware as to when the problem will be resolved. They told me to try again & again to break from the group till I succed.However I haven't been able so far to break from the group. Meanwhile I registered a formal complaint with airtel customer care on June 18th 2008 & they assured me that the complaint will be attended soon. But neither have I received any sort of communication rom them nor my problem has been resolved so far. Even today also I tried to break from the group but received the same service reply...

                      Hi, I have a similar but much worse problem. I have been a member of a CUG since 3 years now. Recently i decided to break from this group and form a new one. However when i follwed the procedure, the only message i got was "System is processing your request". Finally i called up Customer Care. In fact I've been calling them for 6 months now. The only reply i get is "We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience. Your problem will be resolved in 24 hours. Our technician will call you in the next 24 hours". I wonder if 24 hours and 6 months are the same!! I think Airtel Customer Service should be renamed to Airtel Customer Harass.
                      Exact same problems ... except that i get a message saying
                      "You were unable to break from the group[113]".
                      Customer Care people have no clue bout it and so they anything ...
                      like ...

                            Yes.. He is absolutely right. Airtel has adapted such cheap business tactics.. Shame on Airtel.. Still Iam getting such messages from Airtel.
                            TRAI must look into such matters and should penalise them with huge monetery penalties and code of conduct. so that no other service provider would dare to take such cheating tactics to improve their revenue.. I really wonder whats TRAI doing... Is it really worth having or is it completely lost its consciousness????

                                  This is to bring to your kind attention that I am an Airtel customer for quite some time now and my mobile number is as mentioned above. I am facing a problem with the online payment of my bill. I have tried logging on to my online portal and make a payment. however it did not accept the password for some reason. I tried resetting the password from the same portal. But that did not work.

                                  I have spoken to a number of Customer Service Executives so far on this and also spoken to three supervisors on floor. Nobody seemed to be able to give me a proper solution. Everytime I was told that due to server upgradation this issue is occurring. However I would like to know - Can a telecom company afford to keep their servers down for 48 hours and make their customers suffer for that?

                                  Moreover, since my outgoing is barred, I am not even being able to send the WEBPSWD request through SMS to 121. As informed already for a number of times, I am not in a condition to visit any of your outlets and make the payment physically. Online payment is the only option for me right now.

                                  I am not being able to make any outgoing calls as my outgoing is barred and I am also not being able to make the payment for the outstanding bill. Would like to know, why for no fault of mine, I am made to suffer so terribly.

                                  To add to this, during my interaction with your supervisor Amit Nandi, he clearly mentioned that "Airtel cannot help you. If you cannot pay your bill, it is your problem..."
                                  Would like to know ... Does this go in accordance with your customer service agreement? Is this the way you are used to treat Corporate Customers?

                                  I had taken this connection with the expectation that I will be able to avail the services that has been promised and committed to me.

                                      On 30th.June I got delivery of a sim card and within 2 days varification was completed..till today ie 11th July 2008 sim is not activated..almost everyday I have been calling retailer regarding that and their answer is "your phone is already activated" when I contacted Airtel costomer service to know the status they informed me that the number allotted to you by retailer is already registered with another person who is using it.
                                      Can some one help me out? How can I get out of these useless hassles?

                                      Dear sir, I am using Air Tel mobile services since last 2 years. Earlier i was using Air Tel postpaid service having mobile no.[protected]. Then, during this july i have tranferred my Postpaid connection to Prepaid connection. But, due to any faulty input that issued prepaid SIM have gotten blocked by only your Air Tel personnel. Further, your personnel at Air Tel, Communication Needs, Shop No.1, CS-1 Block, Sector-25, Noida, have issued a new prepaid SIM with the same number on 08 Oct.2008 and activated as well and simultaneously, a lifetime recharge of Rs. 999/- have been made. But, on 20 Oct. 2008, my prepaid SIM have got blocked, and no one is getting why it was happened...? I have made several requests & complaints to your customer support as well as that retail Air Tel counter at sector-25, Noida, but, no one of your personnel is responding to resolve this issue. They all are just replying account is showing SIM is blocked and assuring this No. will get back in next 24-96 hrs. but have not gotten started. Therfore, here i m requesting you to please solve this issue to avoid the threat of improper services from Air Tel. Thanking you.

                                      I have Mobile phone of NKTEL company having dual sim withVALID IMEI number.
                                      But on my Airtel mobile I was continuously receiving the message like :My IMEI number is not valid and get new IMEI by paying Rs 199.

                                      Airtel — Incoming calls barred and verification documents not processed yet

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      My number is not working and I able to make only outgoing calls but not able to receive any incoming calls.I work as a Independent consultant and this is my only number on which my clients can call me.As they are not able to call me due to which I am losing business ,i.e. a financial loss for me as well apart from the harressment and mentel torture from Airtel side.

                                      The customer care people are doing nothing and suggesting some weird solutions such as to "manually select airtel network on the phone settings" inspite of telling them that I am calling from the same number and airtel is being displayed as the network.Yesterday,other airtel representative told me that the verification documents are not received due to which the incoming calls are barred.I am not able to understand why the documnets are still not processed when I submitted the licence proof and PAN card on 18/03/2010.
                                      Just to give an overview why the documents were required :
                                      I have been using this mobile no for the past 6 years but the sim stopped working due to which i got a new sim from airtel main office,gurgaon by paying rs 25/- on 18/03/2010(as the airtel office in vasant kunj,masoodpur refused to give a new sim and suggested to go to the main office in gurgaon,thereby i had to travel all the way from delhi to gurgaon).The sim was activated after a lot of folow-up with the airtel customer care but the incoming is till barred.Now,when i call the customer care they say that again i have to go to the place from where i have purchased the new sim and follow-up with them.

                                      i am a senior citizen and can't travel to gurgaon again and again

                                      This is a harassment and mental torture to me from airtel and i have been calling the customer care many times for getting this done.Also,this is a mistake from Airtel's end and I am starting losing my patience now!!!!!!!.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      My number is not working and I able to make only outgoing calls but not able to receive any incoming calls.I work as a Independent consultant and this is my only number on which my clients can call me.As they are not able to call me due to which I am losing business, i.e. a financial loss for me as well apart from the harressment and mentel torture from Airtel side.

                                      The customer care people are doing nothing and suggesting some weird solutions such as to "manually select airtel network on the phone settings" inspite of telling them that I am calling from the same number and airtel is being displayed as the network.Yesterday, other airtel representative told me that the verification documents are not received due to which the incoming calls are barred.I am not able to understand why the documnets are still not processed when I submitted the licence proof and PAN card on 18/03/2010.
                                      Just to give an overview why the documents were required :
                                      I have been using this mobile no for the past 6 years but the sim stopped working due to which i got a new sim from airtel main office, gurgaon by paying rs 25/- on 18/03/2010(as the airtel office in vasant kunj, masoodpur refused to give a new sim and suggested to go to the main office in gurgaon, thereby i had to travel all the way from delhi to gurgaon).The sim was activated after a lot of folow-up with the airtel customer care but the incoming is till barred.Now, when i call the customer care they say that again i have to go to the place from where i have purchased the new sim and follow-up with them.

                                      i am a senior citizen and can't travel to gurgaon again and again

                                      This is a harassment and mental torture to me from airtel and i have been calling the customer care many times for getting this done.Also, this is a mistake from Airtel's end and I am starting losing my patience now!!!.

                                      I won't be able to go to the airtel office again and would rather prefer to go to the consumer court!!!

                                      Despite your assurance no one from Airtel called me even once and I had to go through all the options in 121 for reaching the customer care everytime for their wierd trouble shoot!!!

                                      This is a mistake on the airtel part thereby requesting them to resolve the matter ASAP.

                                      Airtel — being tortured for giving documents again and again

                                      Sir, before a long time on my request airtel issued the two nos. i.e [protected] and [protected] to me. I submitted my complete documents as per the requirements of the company and govt. of India ( election i.d proof, photograph and fulfilled the application form ) to the dealer but again your company telephoned to me to submit the documents again, I adopted the above same procedure again. In this regard any person named Deepak telephoned to me again to submit the document third time now I am afraid of in this terrorism world that my documents can be used for the criminal activities. I don't know who is Deepak. If the documents are misplaced who is responsible for it or if there is a fault on the side of company about address etc it is not the responsibility of mine. If in this case the company wants to get my documents third time they have to give in writing about the previous documents and now to get the purpose of documents and guarntee the documents will not be used for any unsocial activity. I have informed you and if I will be tortured information will be sent to police as well as hon'ble court.

                                      Airtel — Document not correct

                                      Dear Sir:

                                      I got a Airtel no:[protected] a few years back but last week I got a message saying that "as per the government audit agency the documents pertaining to your airtel moblie numver are found to be incorrect.please submit passport size photo address and photo ID proof with duly filled prepaid application form at your nearest airtel relationship centre within 3 days"

                                      I submited all the document on the same day I got the message. but now my phone can not making STD and ISD call...

                                      For many years I used the same number and I cannt afford to lose this number, since I'm a NRI and all my contact even from outside india know me as only this number...

                                      so Please verify what is going on and what can I do about it.

                                      Airtel — Same airtel number sim allotted to some person

                                      Same Airtel mobile number "[protected]" alloted to some other person without any information to me. Where as I am the customer of Airtel mobile services since 4-5 years.
                                      Please look into the matter as mentioned above.
                                      And reply as soon as possible.

                                      Airtel — re verification

                                      sir I am a defence personnel.i submited my documents for re verification as desired by the company in the month of jan 2011.I got the acknowledgement that my documents are correct and my services continues. now again i am getting sms asking me to submit the documents for re verification lest my phone will be disconnected.why is it so.other company like aircel has never asked for re verification
                                      in world cup days, cricked updates sms started automatically on my phone which i overlooked.when i noticed that my balance is being deducted, i contacted customer care.the executive did not agree that there can be some malfunctioning in the system, .I was refered to his supervisor/senior.A lady came on line but she too was reluctant to admit the error instead blamed me of activating the service, enjoyed it and then complaining.she even said that go ahead with your complaint any where you wish.
                                      later I learned that this type of cheating has been done to my other colleagues too.

                                      Airtel — Not activate blocked Sim card

                                      My sim card was blocked for non-usage for a continuous period of 3 months, which is not true. I used my phone every single day. Now they are saying that my number has been recycled. It's been 2 weeks since the outgoing and incoming service on my phone has been blocked, but despite speaking to the customer care people, no action has been taken. They keep asking me to come back after 2 or 3 days, and this has gone on forever.

                                      No one in airtel is willing to take responsibility for what is happening to my number. PATHETIC CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE. I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of choosing to avail airtel's services to give it a second thought. There are better mobile-service providers.

                                      AirTel — same number allotted to two parties

                                      hello and good morning..... i m vikas shah from himmatnagar,gujrat ...... since last many years my wife using airtel pre-paid card and the number is:- [protected]. my complaint is that when the given number switch off/not reachable it automatically connected to other number which is [protected] every time. so we are very harass for this...... i want to take some legal actioin against the service provider so plz help us.... my e-mail id is--- [protected]@yahoo.com and my number is [protected]......

                                      AirTel — Incoming calls not processed

                                      Respected Sir,
                                      I am Nirbhik Sengupta owner of the number [protected](Airtel) want to register a complaint about the constant harassment by my mobile service provider.Inspite of submitting all documents and the validity of my number (upto july 14, 2014)as shown on checking validity from my number, my incoming calls are not being processed and the caller is informed "THIS NUMBER IS TEMPORARILY OUT OF SERVICE". I tried calling 198 and complaining but they aren't processing my call to their customer care executive.I will be highly thankful if the problem is sorted out at the earliest as I am in urgent need of the number to be functioning properly.

                                      AirTel — Verification of documents

                                      Hi,
                                      Airtel has suddenly deactivated my sim saying that I need to submit documents for reverification. I am facing a lot of problem as I used to receive very important calls on this sim. As I am in Rajasthan and the sim is registered in Tamil Nadu, it will cost me a lot of money and time to go and submit the documents in Tamil Nadu. As they want me to submit my documents in TN not anywhere else in India. Please provide me a solution for this problem.
                                      I was bought a airtel sim on 3.08.2012..but till now my card has not been activated..so please activate my sim card as soon as possible..thank you.!! phone number([protected])

                                        I have mobile prepaid charge that has 6 years life time. The moble worked well till january 2008 when I last used and has a balance of about Rs.100/=.and mobile No. [protected]. I was not using this number as I did not need after January till June2008. Now when I loaded the sim card, the registration failed and I did contact the Airtel Cust Service Coimbatore, where this connection exists. and was told that not using the mobile for more than 20days or some period which the person at the desk is not sure of.. automatically the registration gets cancelled and all the records are deleted. When I asked as to what happens to the balance of amount and the socalled 6 years lifetime...The only reply is "Sorry" from the help desk as there is no record available on this number and when asked that I wish to talk to some responsible seniors, I was told that within 24 hrs somebody will talk to me regarding this dis-service. But nothing happened so far...

                                        I want to know if this is an accidental error and will be rectified after clarification...or a cdeliberate cancellation action with a view to hide the fact that there is no such thing as life of service if not in current use immaterial to the balance of money however large or small it might be. Why, on earth, if the connection has been cancelled, the balance amount is not returned to me since they have my address proof document.

                                        I understand that there are many similar complaints and do not know if anybody got solved.

                                        Will the Airtel answer to this and tell as to how they close my account when there is an outstanding amount with them and fail to return or intimate me for clarification if any...and when and where it is mentioned in the prepaid service that one has to continuously use immaterial to the life of the prepaid purchase...

                                        I have had exactly the same problem with my Airtel life prepaid card: My mobile no. is [protected]. I had a balance of over Rs. 200 when I last used it in August 2010. I did not need it until 18 Feb 2011, when I loaded the sim card but reigstration failed.

                                        I contacted Airtel customer service (198) from another mobile and was told that registration is cancelled if the number is not used for 3 months. When asked where this rule is specified, the Airtel customer serivce officer just disconnected the phone. I then went to the 'Airtel Relationship Centre' in Aundh, Pune, where the number was registered and was told by one employee there there that the connection gets cancelled on if the number is not used for 15 days. A second employee called Priyanka said the connection gets cancelled on if the number is not used for 1 month. When I asked what the exact period of non-usage is, whether it is a) 15 days or b) 1 month or c) 3 months (information given by three separate Airtel Customer Service officers), and where I can find this information in writing, the employees were obviously at a loss, and rude and unhelpful to boot.

                                        Airtel Customer Service is shockingly incompetent and ignorant. I want the same answers from Airtel as the customer above:
                                        Ia) how can they close my account when there is an outstanding amount with them and fail to respond to my attempts at clarification; and
                                        b) when and where it is mentioned in the prepaid service that one has to continuously use the mobile no. regardless of the life of the prepaid purchase.
