AirTel — same number is allocated to other person
This is Nitin J Patil and this is in reference to my cell phone number [protected] i.e. an Airtel connection. I got the service some time back about two years. I was not well about two months so could not use my phone during this period. One fine morning when I charged my handset and tried to call, the service was termitted. Mean while some of my relatives and friends told me that when the dial my number it goes to some other party. To confirm this I tried from my friends cell phone, I was shocked. I went to Airtel gallery at Chembur, Mumbai. I was told as it was not in use your number has been allotted to some one else.Now I am worried, if the same SIM card is misused who will be responsible for that. I am planning to lounge a police complaint because just like that without any otimission how can number be alloted to some one else.
