[Resolved]  Airtel — Sim card issued on someone else name

Sir,
My name is Rakesh Kumar Ojha. I lost my Airtel Moble number of 22nd April. I was using this number for about 7 or 8 years. When I had purchased this SIM card I has given my document to the retailer. Now, customer care is saying that it is not of my name. It is on the the name of Sukumar Gagai. They are not blocking this SIM card. I have contacted retailer for this concern. They are saying that , It might be a mistake of the Distributer, it is a fault of Distributer. I know one thing that I had given my documents when I had purchased that SIM card, That Airtel number is very important for me because I was using that number for more that 7 years.

Bharti Airtel — by mistake of retailer some is using my sim card

my name is MD.IMTIYAZ ALAM S/o MD .NIZAMUDDIN ADD:- PANDRA KANALI PURVEE, DHANBAD(JHARKAHAND) i bought a sim card about 2 years ago on id proof of mine after a year i found that the sim card i am using is not on my name no, [protected] and somehow i managed to have the registered name i discuss with the retailer from where i took this card i told him about this problem but he kept faking that he would solve my problem. even i don't know the no. registered on my name i want block that no please that no. or tell me how it could be done...

Airtel — My connection shows in someone elses name

Dear Sir,

This is regarding the Airtel Mobile # [protected]. My Dad Mr. B.N. Singh got this number in February 2007 and gave required documents to full fill the formalities. However, all of a sudden he has started getting IVR instructions before every call to submit the paper work. Irony is when he called the customer service it was told that this is in somebody else's name.

I want to bring this to your attention that my father has the carbon copy which was given at the time of the new connection. How come Airtel has issued that number to somebody else when he is using it for more that 4 years now. I would request you to help us rectify this for him. Please find below the details of the number:

My Sim stopped working 2 days back. I have been using this sim since 2004, but I was shocked to see that this Sim is in the name of Ramesh… a person totally unknown to me. I had registered under my name and submitted my documents.
Now if I change my Sim, my number changes, and that involves a lot of hassles because my mobile number is associated with all my online work.
Please help me

Don't worry dear
It was unfortunate that I didn't get that sim that time. But a lady I know with whom same incident happened and she got her lost sim. You just visit Airtel office in your city. You tell them that you had lost your SIM. They will ask some questions related to call history and your own Documents like adhar And provide you the same number you lost. plz visit. relax
