Airtel — Unable to call toll free no. 000-800

I have been having a problem with airtel Prepaid number [protected] for more than a week. I am unable to call a toll free number[protected]. Due to which I am unable to join my office meetings. It was working prefectly fine 2 weeks before.Call to the same number works perfectly well from idea and vodofone cellular network or any of the fixed land-line telephone network.

I tried 121 number mutiple time but the custermer Care Executive tells me he will transer my call to supervior however the call gets disconnected. This is causing loss in the peace of my mind and effect my business prospects also and forcing me to change from Aitel to anyother service like Vodaphone only for this particular reason.

I have the same problem with my aritel prepaid number. I am not able to call[protected]xxxx number for my conf calls from my number, but i could connect to this toll free from some other airtel number. Not sure what the issue is.

I could connect to 1800-xxx-xxxx toll free numbers from my number though.

Let me know if you get any resolution from Airtel for this issue.

I missed an important interview from this issue
I am too having this issue since 2 days ago. it was working fine just before my recharge, after recharge, it stopped working.. called several times to Airtel customer care, they dont have any idea on what is happening. really not able to join office conference call or call some toll free numbers. i am not sure anyone from airtel listening to this problem. Please let me know if anyone resolved this issue.
I also have same problem with Airtel. Customer service of Airtel is pathetic. Better they should close Airtel.
I too face exactly the same issue.I probably think this discrimination is due to having a pre paid number.
In my post paid connection this was not an issue at all .
I am also facing same problem where all my friends from different network can call and connect to it without any issue.
Hi,

I was facing the same issue and resolved it by changing preferred network type in Sim settings to "Prefer 3G" instead of "Prefer LTE"

Got no response from Airtel CC.

I was having the same issue.

I put my phone on airplane mode and the issue resolved.
