I was using Airtel Corporate connection since Jan 2011, with monthly rental Rs 249 and there is other services was active on my number i.e. SMS pack for Rs. 98 and Unlimited GPRS Services for
Rs. 98. SMS pack was active to my airtel mobile number 88610XXXXX, and I was able to send 200 Local+Nation SMS/day and there will be no charge even though I will be in ROAMING (The
information has been provided by Airtel Customer Care) But When I received my Airtel bill for the month of Jun 2012, I noticed that there is some amount which was for SMS (200 Local + National SMS
/Day ) when I spoke with Airtel Customer care number they told me there is some roaming charge on SMS when i was in Roaming. I am just in dilemma when information was correct. The one which
has been provided before take services or the second which has been given in billing. After a wrong billing, I placed a request to cancel my number and Airtel executive has told me it will be canceled
by 9th July 2012 11 A.M. and I will get a conformation call just before deactivating my number and then my number will get deactivated but I have not received any conformation call and number has
been deactivated on 5th July when I was waiting very important call from somewhere and due to this unexpected deactivation I have lost those call.

Bharti Airtel Post Paid Connection — Deactivation of Post Paid Connection without information

I took a Bharti Connection on 28th April 2009 from Univer cell shop in Abhiramapuram Chennai. After using it till 12th May this connection suddenly got deactivated when i checked with customer care at 121 on 12th evening customer care executive told me that there might be some problem in my set i got my set checked & i realized that this was not the problem.

Whenever i call Bharti i get different reasons. When i asked them to refund my deposit of Rs 500 they are refusing to do so. My number which i got from Bharti which got deactivated was [protected]. I do not expect such a terrible service from such big service provider.
i was vary humble with Airtel persons to resolve the issue but i start getting warning message from their end.

    Dear Sir/MAdam,

    I am Ratnakranti Silla and having my Airtel simcard with number [protected]. I am working in Pune and when ever I go to Andhra Pradesh, I will use my Airtel SIM card. In Pune also once in a while, I used to check this SIM card just to check whether it is working or not and used to give a call to my Pune number. Recently since I am getting Sim card registration failed. The same problem I faced when I used the Airtel prepaisd sim card last time and that number was [protected]. Again I took another number of Airtel and the same problem is coming again for me.

    I need to travel to Andhar in August 1st week. I have given this number as my Andhra Pradesh number to all my friends and colleagues. Please make it into working condition as soon as possible.

    Looking for positive and fast response.

    AIRTEL/PRE-PAID SERVICES — SIM REGISTRATION FAILED

    Dear Sir,
    I have taken the pre-paid connection of Airtel (NO. +91-[protected]) two months back on 23rd of march 2009 and since then I am enjoying the facility uninterreptlly. I have also availed the facility of GPRS on the same number. But today they have blocked the SIM without giving me any prior intimation. When I approached the Customer care centre situated at sector-16, Gandhinagar one of the customer care executives namely Ms. Mansi did't take the complain seriously and replied that the SIM registration is failed because the address has not been confirmed and I will have to purchase a new SIM only.
    At the time of getting the SIM card I had already provided the required documents and the same had been verified by the Airtel executives. After availing the facility for two months they are not only refusing to activate the services but also to return the money avialble in my prepaid a/c i.e around Rs.350/-.
    Being such a reputed company in India it hurts me a lot for gettting such a poor service.
    Hope you will do the needful and settle the matter as early as possible.

    AirTel — Failure of SIM card Prepaid

    I had taken an Airtel Pre Paid mobile connection ([protected]) in Nov 09 from south delhi and the phone was in use for around 15 days in Delhi. All necessary documents were submitted. However in Dec 09 while at Kochi when I treid to activate the SIM, I got 'Invalid SIM' remark on my mobile. To my surprise the kerala Airtel reps told me to register complaint with delhi office. My efforts with delhi office has also no yielded any result. I am not likely to return to Delhi till mid feb. It is requested that the issue be resolved on priority.

    I tried to use my Airtel sim card today but still it is saying that Sim Card registration failed. Please verify once again and please get it resolved properly.

    I tried the link www.airtel.in/airtelpresence more than 3 times at different time intervals and everytime it is giving error with error message as "Service is down currently. Please try again later.".

    My airtel simcard still saying simcard registration failed only. I didn't get any sms also. I tried by restarting my mobile. Eventhough still it is saying simcard registration failed. If you want me talk to you I have already given my current contact number and giving again now. Please contact me on my current number 91-[protected]. The airtel presence is giving same error message which was shared already. Please take it serious and resolve the problem efficiently. Pleas resolve it as soon as possible.     If you are a good service provider then you wouldn't allocate this simcard card to other person. At the time of raising this request, it was not ringing while calling on this number. After you people confirmed that issue got resolved then it has been given to other person.

    Is this the way you people gives the resolution for customer's problem?

    Worst worst performance from you. I haven't seen this kind of service. I stayed in karnataka, andhrapradesh, maharashtra and odissa. I didn't see or hear this kind of worst service from other telecom service.

      On 18 july 2012, I contacted Airtel customer care person for getting information about Roaming call and SMS charges and Roaming plan.

      Your representive told about 43 rupees plan getting Rs. 38 as a main balance. In that He also told that validity is for 6 months and I deactivate it at any time. We confirm this from your two different representive. After that both are told same thing as i mention in above.

      I recharge Rs. 43 on my number name "Roaming freedom". But i didn't receive any main balance till today. Your person told about that balance, we got very soon. But not receive.

      As previous conversation with your customer care representative, today 23 July 2012, I going to de-activate the service but all our person says this is not possible. You have to stay in this service for 2 month.

      Again i call customer care, different answer, This is not done by me, i don't know how to do. This scheme for 3 months.

      Again I call customer care, They told this is for 6 month. No option to de-activate. You have to pay as per roaming charges.

      Again call customer care, I told them what the representative told on 18th July, the answer of him is, Sorry sir, Wrong information provided to you.
      We cant do anything regarding that. You have to pay for charges as per scheme.

      Again we call, this is shocking answer by you person,""" This scheme is for 3 years"".

      I found that this plan validity increase as representative changes. Your employers have very wrong information related to plans and provide wrong information to customer.

      what is this? Now, I lost my old Friend's plan because of your wrong information. This is not acceptable.

      I want my old scheme as previous plan. Please do for that otherwise I going to consumer court against Bharti Airtel telecommunication.

      From morning I found many different answers that making mis-guidance of me. So please solve this problem as possible as soon.

        Hi, I am working with a renowned Private Sector bank as a Vice President. I called up Airtel Digital services for Cable DTH connection. they happily told me to register frst and connection will be up in a week after payment. I did the payment in June last week. I still do not have the connection. I was told by the Engineer first that my society does not permit thus he would need a mount for the same and asked me to take permission from his central office. After that the circle started. I must have called 15 times after that and every time put on Hold for 15-20 minutes, stating connecting to seniors for refund. After that the senior attends with no resolution. I spoke to Rohan on 9/7. Then Vikas on 10th July. After that to Sniors Avinash Singh, Sheetal and Indrajeet Rajoria with no resolution. Till date I do not have the connection nor the refund . This is pure harrassment of Customer. I do not want the digitalk connection now for sure. I will go in for some other company. However, I want to see it to it that this Comp[any is held liable for distrust and cheating of acquirnng customer money and not providing services.

        Airtel DTH — NO CONNECTION

        Dear sir
        I am KrupaRani from Hyderabad. I applied for Airtel DTH online on 8th june 2011, some one named Kapil called me & asked me to pay the money for an executive who came to my home. Next day i.e 9th june I paid the amount to executive got the receipt &he told me that I will get my connection within 24 hrs.Not within 24 hrs till today(13th june) I didn't get my connection."Is this the right way to deal with the customers?"
        When I tried to contact Mr.Kapil (who called me first) he received the call and later without responding me he disconnected the phone(on 12th june at 2pm).Later I tried for many times The other person told me that he will call me within 5 min but no call.

        Where is the response which I got before .Please arrange connection as soon as possible.

          Postpaid Bill limit 3500 but bill received of RTs. 10627.

          I went to Malaysia and Singapore on 11th June and returned on 20th June Midnight. I got my ISD activated on 11th June only.
          I was informed that my credit limit mentioned on my phone is Rs. 3500 and I cannot exceed the limit. But now the bill received is Rs 10,627. I did not receive any intimation from Airtel that my credit limit does not apply when you travel abroad. Also, it was not intimated that the services will not be stopped when you exceed your limit. Also, airtel say they pay in advance to the service provier for services, but they should have paid only 3500 and taken the consent of the user if he/she wants to exceed that limit or not.

          The first unbilled amount message that I received was of 5990 as on 19th June,2012, when I was departing from Singapore to India. After that I didn’t make any call. I raised the same concern to the consumer care on 20th June only to avoid any communication gap. when I called consumer care, they said sir, once the bill will be generated the your bill be in your limits as the discounts are not included in this bill.

          I still had my doubts so, I tried calling again and again and tried to get to the supervisors to sort the problem but no resolution was provided. I raised the issue to nodal officers, Airtel and appellate authority in the mean while to get to the bottom of this issue.

          After two days of returning, my bill was 7700 Rs and after three days it was 9397 Rs. I was not even informed by Airtel about this hidden thing, and how was I supposed to know that credit limit has got nothing to do with isd services. If I would have known this I would have used a local sim of that country and avoided this problem.

          Now I have started to note down the names of executives as well, as I am not getting any response from airtel. I had a chat with him (Mr. Prabhakar).
          I asked him why you print the limit on the phone bill and what is its purpose.
          Reply : Sir, so that you cannot exceed the limit and if you do so, your services can be barded.
          I asked him to lock a complaint for the same issue
          Reply : he refused to even lock the complaint.


          In the case of Internet, whenever I exceed the download limit, a proper mail is sent to me and speed of download reduces as per the plan. Why this has not happened in the case of ISD Services. I logged my complaint on internet at several places but no response.

          I had a chat with Mr. Kunal Gupta of appellate authority and he offered me a waiver of Rs. 1000 for not receiving an alert from the Airtel. Offer ID : F[protected]. Thanks to him for at least understanding the issue.

          I have been offered a 1000 Rs waiver but the bill is three times the credit limit. Limit is 3500 Rs but the bill amount is 10627 RS. How will I pay ? Also, why should I pay for being cheated on the name of ISD Services ?

          Airtel say I have been leveraged to make calls beyond my limit , but did Airtel take my consent before giving me leverage.

          Airtel say, they have seen my past record and payment history and that’s why they allowed me to call.
          Did Airtel ever see that whether I have even crossed my limit and how much bill I receive and pay.

          Airtel say they cannot bard the services when you travel abroad.
          But can Airtel tell me that as soon as I crossed the limit, why the airtel did not inform me.

          Airtel say, it takes 48 hours or more to update the bill.
          Was i informed when i activated my isd on 11th june that make wise use of phone as the bill updation is not in Airtel hands.

          Airtel say I have to make the payment as i have made calls.
          Airtel allowed me to call beyond the limit though I had a impression that I cannot cross my limits as usual and I am making use of it , as I have been doing from the past 5 years. also, I cannot call 121 to check my bill. How i am supposed to know that I am exceeding my limits.

          All what i am hearing is Airtel process. Please let us know how the consumer is supposed to know the working of Airtel and if it so, before activating he/she should read all the documents and should think 1000 times before activating some service especially through Airtel.


          First Airtel don't stop the services. Airtel don't even intimate that I have crossed my limits. Airtel allow me to call without intimating me and now they charge me for their mistake only. Is this called transparency?

          Simply, this is keeping consumer in dark and no resolution has been provided for the problem I am being mentally affected and tortured by this kind of Airtel services.


          I have been constantly following up with Airtel since 20thJune and today is 23rd July but my complaint is still unresolved. Also, i tried to contact airtel through different mediums, through calls, internet but it is really dis heartening to see that they pay no attention to you at all and also there is no cap on such distributors. They make the consumer suffer and when you raise the concern, it is feeling on the deaf ears.

          Sir/ma'am, please take action against them. Also, if my country authority says that I am wrong , I will make the whole payment.But if they are wrong, I want some action/change in their behaviour so that no other user faces such issues in future.

            I purchased a 3G Airtel dongle in March, 2012. It was not working well from the beginning and then stopped working in May, 2012. Since, then I called several customer care numbers of Airtel (121, [protected] and others), emailed them, went to Airtel Relationship Centre and to shop where I purchsed this dongle (Vijay Sales, Vashi).
            Now, already around one and half months have passed.
            My dongle is not working and with this kind of response, its guarantee period of 6 months will be over.
            My complaint is not being registered and dongle is not being replaced.
            Airtel has so many numbers they can food a person for months.
            I am still having non-working dongle. The free 3G service of 3 months for the dongle also went unused.
            Can someone help me getting dongle replaced and give me free 3G service for the period lost.

              I am Neeraj.
              Today i went to Airtel outlet,Rajouri garden regarding the MNP from vodafone to airtel.
              I Provide them all the documents,but later they said to get the photostate of these documents
              Its around 10:30 Am and no shops were open by this time and i wasted my 30 mins in searching for the shop.
              This is the first outlet which i seen without the scanner.I have visited Vodafone store and Aircel outlet and they are well versed with all these basic things.
              Are Airtel outlet are so poor that they wont afford a scanner/photostate machine or they have but they dont want to use for their consumers.I Am a regular airtel consumer and has around 5 airtel connections with 1 broadband connection.
              My complaint is that please give them a photostate machine(comes with all hp printer) so that no other people would waste their time for such small things.

              With great regret I Abhaya Ku. Swain, a customer of Airtel would like to state that the services provided by your organisation is highly unsatisfactory. I had lost my cell and SIM card on 13 Oct 07 and had filed a request to deactivate the services on my SIM CARD No- +91 [protected] at around 12.15 PM, 14 Oct 07. I was initially told that the same would be done in an hour's time. On reconfirmation after an hour it was told it would be done in 4 hours which to our regret was not done till 8.00am in the morning (14 Oct 07). Again I was promised that it would be done in the next 4 hours. It was finally done at 11.00am.
              WE REGRET TO SAY THAT IT HAS CAUSED A LOT OF DISTRESS ON OUR END.

              Furthermore on asking for assistance for a duplicate SIM we were directed to visit to your outlets at Dwarka & Uttam Nagar which I did only to find a renovation work being done there and no service is provided. I was further asked to visit the same at Uttam Nagar outlet on Wednesday, 17 Oct 07 for the same. On calling up your customer care at 121 at 9.30am, 17 Oct 07 we were informed that SIM Card would be delivered at my residence in 6 working hours ( Request Number[protected]. It was reconfirmed on repeated followups at 12.00noon, 4.30pm and 5.30pm , but to no result. At 8.00pm on calling up at 121 we were informed to go and collect the SIM from the Airtel Outlet. This action has not only wasted my whole day, cancelled some prescheduled assignments and further to that I had to forego on my day's salary & leave. I could have as well taken the service from some other service provider from day-one itself rather than to take the services of AIRTEL.

              I hope that the concerned authority understands that a customer is NOT spared for a minute's delay in payment of bills. But to my regret AIRTEL has failed to provide me service promised and caused both monetary & mental stress.

              On a complaint against the grievance done I was not provided any assistance and was further told to pay my oustanding bill and disconnect the service (Refere to discussions with Mr Pankaj Kumar Sinha -Floor Manager)

              I would look forward to your immediate action failing which I would take a legal assistance onthe same

              I’am KJ.Balamurugan,one of the Airtel customer.I would like to bring some issues regarding the poor service provided by your Customer care Centre.I have been using the Airtel connection for past 5 years.I have 4 Airtel numbers including the land line number.The bill amount I’am paying is more than 20,000 per month. The numbers I’am using are [protected],[protected],[protected] and landline number is 42616675.The first two numbers i.e [protected] and [protected],I’am using these numbers for international Roaming.I’am a Marine Engineer so I use these numbers in European Countries(Italy,Belgium,Turkey,Greece,Spain and also in UK).Now the problem is I couldn’t able to access the Airtel live from there.In the year 2005 I was able to access it.But now it’s not accessing.I have given a complaint to your customer service center so many times.But no action has been taken till now.I donno whether I can continue my connection with Airtel or not.
              It’s not only enough to cover the customers by giving Advertisement in Media and Newspaper.You should also provide a good customer support for them.People who works in your customer care knows only to speak in English,but they donno how to handle the customers.Anybody can speak in English if we train them,but giving solution for the customers problem is more important.I think you are very poor in that.It’s not only me giving the accusement about your service.Many of my friends are telling the same.If this problem is going to be continued on your side then I’am sure that you will be missing your valuable customers.So I want you to take immediate effects on my issue and make my Airtel live to be accessed for this two numbers([protected] and [protected]).I also request you to kindly improve your Customer Service center to avoid these kind of issues.
              Dear Service provider,

              With utter frustration and disappointment I want to submit my problems which have not been attended to in the correct manner. I am currently in Lucknow and I took an airtel connection about a week back. My no is [protected]. I submitted my license photocopy as my address proof and photo proof. Here I would like to mention that I am an army officer and I keep moving from one place to another.However I keep frequenting Lucknow so I took the connection with one years validity. After submitting all these documents my services have been barred. I spoke one of the customer care executives on 05 feb at around 3 pm and told him about the entire case and when he was not able to understand me and solve my problem I asked him to let me speak to his superiors. This employee however refused point blank which I suppose is completely against the ethics of such a reputed company. The executive asked me to submit an electricity or water bill which I will not be able to furnish as I am in the army and I don’t pay any such bills . I have however given my permanent address proff in the form of license photocopy.

              I am completely dissatisfied with the standard of services being provided at the Lucknow branch . the customer care executives are below par and and have a very poor knowledge on how to deal with the customers. I would like to say that this entire episode has frustrated me and put the company as such in a very poor light, which I had always held in high esteem.

              I would like to submit that if my services are not activated by today that is 06 feb 08 I will surrender this connection and take some other companies connection. This was the worst interaction I have ever had with any telecom company and I wont mince my words when I talk about it.

              Airtel signal is very poor in our area, Cheruvickel village, about 1 km from Sreekaryam, trivandrum. We cannot use airtel as the signal is very weak. On the other hand other providers such as BSNL have no problems. Airtel must do something to improve the situation. We have made complaints in the past but with no results.
              These days my calls are getting dropped more offen than before.
              In the evening time, need to try multiple times before getting connected to any dialed number due to network error.
              Airtel's automated helpdesk systems most of the functions does not work properly and serve customer with intended services.
              Airtel's support people does not know or not able to resolve issues.
              Well not to mention but corss calls... looks like Airtel is running conference services.
              After reading this, do you think Airtel provides value for money service?

Every time i call airtel the sevice executive tells me that my no would be activated in another 1 hour but still dere's no solution.This is the last complaint i'm making i want all the money back charged without my permission back to my account and my no activated within 24 hours otherwise i'll make sure anybody i know dont use airtel network as this is a corporate connection so i think it would make quite a effect for sure...

              My number was given for changing from post paid to prepaid
              but for the past one month I have been running after them at the reach communications annanagar office at chennai tamilnadu
              india the change has not yet taken place and am being billed for the post paid connection.
              i have been a postpaid customer for more than a year ...for which i had paid 500 rs. as a security deposit to thae company ...now due to some issues .(billing)..i converted from post paid to prepaid ...now its been a year ..inspite of complaining so many times i have not recieved the security amount i have visited their relation ship centre at civil lines(allahabad) ..but to my surprise ..the lady shikha (incharge ) and shikha ...talked veryrudely and misbehaved ...every time they changed their sentense ...on asking who should i contact regarding this issue ...she told we are the person .who will resolve your issue ..and u have to wait for more time ...ther way of treating was shameful ...plz resolve my issue ..
              I have been using Airtel postpaid connection from last 2 years. From last 4-5 months, I am facing a Problem of network failure, for more than 3-4hours without any intimation. Due to this I was lost alot.

              We have booked the FCT Connections with the Airtel on April, 2008 the airtel person name is Mr. Darmesh mobile no.[protected] came from Okhla office with the following detail

              The Deposited amount detail is Cheque no. 736644 The Kangra Co-operative Bank Ltd., Janak Puri Branch of Rs.500.00 as a security amount. Which cleared from my account on[protected]

              We Received the confirmation Letter from their Customer Service Delivery on 13 May, 2008 the letter signed by Sarabjeet Kaur (Vice President).

              From the day one we are requested to Aitel Service Centre on 121 that we have not received the FCT Equipment from the Airtel and we are not able to avail the facility of FCT Connections

              And from June 3, 2008 they send us the bill for the connection which we have not able to use it. Again we are requested to 121 service that we have not received the FCT connection so why the bill has been generated they again promises us that the amount will be reduced or refunded on the next bill and we will delivered the equipment within 48 HRS.

              Now in august month the bill is coming regular but still we have not received the FCT equipment.

              We again complaining to customer care but still we id not find any solution from the Airtel.

              My Airtel Mobile No. [protected]. Service at Khadakpada Kalyan (W), Dist: Thane, Maharashtra is very poor. I got activated GPRS service on 29.07.08. I asked for settings for my mobile set Motorazor V3. Received message that settings are being sent very shortly but till today did not get. Contacted customer care at 121 for manual settings, attempt went in vain. Did not enjoy service for a single moment but paid heavily for just activation of service. Today asked for deactivation. Messages sent and reply received "Remote Application timed out, try after some time". Four messages sent, received same reply. Customer care executives very irresponsible in replies. Did not care for the customers.

              Airtel Landline/ Broadband — Compromising client's security

              Dear Sir/ Madam,
              I had a landline and broadban connection with Airtel in Bangalore. I recently moved to Mumbai and requested Airtel to cancel my connection in Bangalore. However to my absolute horror I found that Airtel has still not cancelled my connection (this is almost 1.5 months after I asked for removal of connection).

              In the meantime the phone and internet connection may have been used by other people, which I am not aware of. In recent times I have read a lot of stories about how anti-national elements have used other people's phone and internet connection to perpetrate terror in the country. The police has been warning citizens that they should make their internet/ phone connections secure. However, because of Airtel's callous behaviour, my number and internet connection has been compromised. I do not know who lives in the house I used to reside in, who all have used the phone number and internet connection and for what purpose.

              Besides, I have also been billed for the last 1.5 months during which I have not used my number.

              In this day and age, I think this is a grave error on part of airtel.

              Air tel costumer care service is extremely bad and poor quality in Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), when I was asking about DIAL UP CONNECTION on my laptop ( for asses internet facility through Mobile office)there reply for that go and contact to your computer expert or any computer shop after that my no [protected] is blocked for costumer care center, i am not able to contact with any costumer care executive, no buddy no anything about plans, poor knowledge, poor communication skill, poor service everything is disappointing and disgusting. I am really upset with the sloppy service extended by airtel in India.I am using this phone for the last 3 years .last 10-15 days every day my outgoing gets temporarily disconnected and i am having to call customer care for retrieving the same. I had spoken to All senior officials who had assured that it will not happen again but it is happening every day last 10-15 days. Consumers are really being fleeced. I don't want this to happen to other consumers which i come to know through the customer care has been happening to new clients. I am thinking of making a campaign against such unscrupulous companies who cannot keep up their word and have no standards or do not listen to the customer's grievances. I am going to make a campaign against such antisocial companies who play with the feelings of consumers. Last 15 days i have been put to unrepeatable loss .My sister was traveling to a new country and we had to go to a phone station in the middle of the night to call her up .I am not able to tolerate such highhandedness .Airtel is taking the customers for granted. I am taking this issue with the consumer council/making a group mail for anti airtel campaign among my cirle of MBA friends/college friends/ICWA friends unless i get a compensation for the hardship caused and the mental agony caused by this airtel-india's poor service.               AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Services disconnected even after full payment

              Dear Sir/Madam

              I am one of the customers using digital TV since[protected]. I applied on line by paying Rs. 3500/- through my credit card for Digital TV (Ultra Package) as a result I received Voucher of Rs.1750(Activation voucher), Recharge voucher of Rs.750 and ten recharge vouchers of Rs. 100 each (1750+750+1000=3500). I got my digital TV installed on[protected] and Activation voucher of Rs. 1750 was used by company's engineer for installation purpose. I was asked to recharge my account with remaining vouchers after 24 hours within 72 hours. I successfully recharge my account with Rs.750 voucher. But I could not recharge my account with remaining 10 vouchers of Rs.100 each. I tried numerious times but always received an error message that Recharge pin is invalid. I also tried to Contact Customer Care Executive on company's Toll Free and Tolled numbers numerious time but due any fault in their system I could not talk to Customer care executive. Then sent a mail to compay describing my problum, one on 15/2/2009, another mail on 17/2/2009 but I did not get any response from the company. Eventually my connection was disconned on 20/2/2009.

              I got an airtel mobile connection in bangalore, and recently i changed my plan to CUG in november.
              But till now airetl have not processed the request and my CUG calls are still charged.
              I have raised almost 20+ complaints for this with no luck.

              The customer care service is so poor that they wont answer your queries and most of the time their systems are down and they will ask us to call back after 1 hour or so.
              Some time i have seen that if we complaint more, the call will get dropped automatically.

              Does anyone else too have similar experience as mine..?

[protected] on 26th february ehich i have lost it after 5 days wnd when I went to the AIrtel contact centre at kirti nagar where I met rajan he told me that he doesnt have the sim of the number of that particular series I was astonsih to hear that .although he advise me to go to tagore garden branch and I went to tagore garden as nothing much I can and I have to restart my no. as I ent there I met karan whi told me that the no wil be ativated in 2 days which again astonished me as I was advised by the agent maximum takes 4 hours but still I agree and ask for a no. of the branch and he gave a mobile no. which was never answered by anyone for the next four days .On 5th day I got lucky and a girl answered the phone at 1845 and told me that the office is closed that really upset me NErt day I went to tagore garden branch to chk abouth the status as the sim was not activated there mr. karan this time talk to me very badly and told me that they did not recieve the documents of that numberAND TAHTS WHY THEY CANNOT ACITVATE THEN I WENT TO THE SHOP SAI BABA COMMUNICATION (MANSAROVAR GARDEN) WHICH SHOWED ME THE RECIEPT OF AIRTEL DISTRIBUTOR EHCH ONFIRMS THAT THE DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN PICKED BUT HE ADVISED ME TO SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTS AGAIN WHICH I DID BUT TILL NOW AS WELL WHEN I CALL 121 AGENTS CONFIRM THAT TEY RECIEVE NO DOCUMENTS.

              Every time I'm receiving message like this & looosing money!!!
              I am an airtel customer for past 4 years. I am a part of airtel friends plan wherein I can call any airtel number during happy hours for Rs.0.10. For past fortnight or so I have been charged Rs. 1.00 even during the happy hours. I launched a complaint No [protected], a week back regarding the problem. The problem has not been resolved yet. Every time I call up the customer care number 121, the executive is unable to handle my questions, leave alone resolving the queries. It has happened four times that an executive told me that he was transferring the line to his manager and the call was dropped. Calling again means wastage of another 15 mins and yet no resolution of the problem. The service is extremely poor. I am frustrated.

The Marketing Executive Mr. Gaurav Sachdeva Whose Office Add. is 58, 1st Floor, Rani Jhansi Road, Opp Jhandewala Temple, New Delhi took Rs 500/ Cash From me and he promised me to install the connection on 11/5/2009. but till now there is no response from the company airtel nor he (Mr.Gaurav) picks up my phone.
              So I Request you to please cancel my order and please asked him or the company Airtel to refund my Rs.500. so that i can't take any legal step against the company Bharti Airtel.

              i received called that air tel is offering post paid connection to you you just need to pay rs.300 for the activation charges than after two days i pay the charges amount and submmited the require document yet i have not received any postpaid card. after three month igot call that your tota outstanding bill is rs.23500 and i explain the scenerio to the customer service agent he said we will trace the call and check the call detail then after contact with you, so i kindly reqest the copany do the needfull
              I am fed up with the services of Airtel.Even after taking the initial amount, no installation of land line no. has been done .its more than a week now.I thought that being a very renowed cellular mobile and landline telecommunication service provider, I`ll get fast and better services, but I am wrong and would not recommend anybody to take its services.
              I have taken the three connections of Airtel, The first one is basic and another two are Mobile postpaid connections after submitting all the neccesary documents to your representative and it was told by your representative that the postpaid sim will be provided on the same evening or next day after verification but both the sims are still not received after three days and the approach of the concerned representative(Mr Kapil, Mob- [protected]) is very casual and highly objectionable.

              It is really very disappointing to see the casual approach by the representative of your company.

              I have a Mobile connection No. [protected]. In Few days before I got an offer from the company that my pre-paid number changed to post paid as per their P 249 scheme. For this they asked some documents and I put my passport zerox, photographs and Rs.500/- though Airtel company representitive and that time he give a new SIM Card and tell me it will start within ten days as same my own number. But I checked the new sim card after 5 days and found it started with a new number i.e . [protected]. that is not useable to me because I work with a Security company and that my number spread all over market so I approched the company rep. Mr.Rahul ([protected]) and he advise me to contact their higher office in Swargate that is 25km from me.In this saturday I reached that office and two of company rep. attend my problem but they can't, Only waiste my three hours.and they suggest me to cancel the new connection first and then put up once more all my documents. I have no spare time to go back with this matter. Please advice to cancel my new number and return my money and documents.If I don't applied for a new number why should I need to cancel it ?. Who will pay the monthly bill amount ? Company have not any reasponsability against public ?.
              Airtel coustomer service is a very poor condition now a days. All are deal with a head weight and they have not any feeling about their coustomers valued time. I suggest everybody to select another connection.

              AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — disconnection of digital tv

              For the last two weeks I have been asking the company to disconnect their dth services but as of today they haven't bothered to respond or send a technician. I asked for the disconnection because my stb and view card nos have been leaked to someone who's harassing me day in and day out by flashing all kinds of numbers while I watch tv. Sometimes even disrupting signals/volume. This speaks o[censored]nethical practices by digital tv personnel and no proper monitoring process by the company management.

              I wish their company management takes strong notice of this complaint and cleans up their act.

              my name is anil doshi. i have airtel DTH. i have using it from 25th dec, 2008. my customer id is [protected] my Card Id is 2154672. last week on 28th sep, 2009. some problem in my STB(set top box). so i register a complain through their call center on 28th sep, my request no. is 1129654 at 4.50 pm. tehy told me it will solve within 24 hrs. One tech guy Ankush came and take away my STB and replace it with an old STB. and he told that it will activate within 1 hr. But it was not activate. i register complain again 0n 29th sep, my resquest no. is 1134686 at 4.23pm. they told me again problem will solved within 24 hrs. But nothing happen. so i called up customer care again & again Every day. On 1/[protected] at 5.37pm, On 2/[protected] at 11.40pm(mid night), On 3/[protected] at 3.40pm, On 4/[protected] at 12.47pm.
              My whole week went useless. as i am retired i am using to watch serials and shows on TV daily, but not only my weekend but whole week went wrong. also my family members week.

And Tech guy Ankush is not going to attend phone calls from my side. and another guy kuldeep also came yesterday and he told us that you get old STB form Ankush. then he told that this problem cann't solve by him, he told to his boss and his boss willing to come at my home but didn't came yet.

              my problem is still unsolved. what i do i am fed up with service of AIRTEL DTH.

              Airtel provides poorest services. Firstly, the telecom department did the wrong verification. After that these people temporarily stopped the services from 26 November 2009. Even after resubmission of the proof to them, the number is still not working from last four days. This is really very disgusting.

              AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Disconnected the services before time

              I have Airtel digital TV connection under the schem of Rs 1750 with 5 month free service taken on 03/11/2009. On 13/12/2009 my TV connection got disconnected and I got a massage that there is no ballance and I need to re-charge for connection. After repeated contacts with local office in vapi, Gujarat, there is no respond and no action taken by them. They even not bother for responding the complaint and they had misbehaviour with me.

              The complain is in reference to Airtel mobile number [protected] in the name of my mother Sudha Rani.
              It has been months that we have misplaced our phone and requested the customer care at airtel to discontinue the number, but they have been generating monthly rental and now asking us to pay for it. The number has not been in use at all and an amount generated of INR 1529 is absurd. We also have recieved a letter to contact Mr S P Tripathi at [protected] in order to resolve the case. The number is always switched off and it just shows unprofessional approach of M/s. Bharti Airtel Limited in this case.

              I am sure we don't have to pay when we have not used this number and the proof being not even a single call made on this number.

              Looking forward for some action.

              Suggestion - Go in for a service which has a local installation model which gives you the Dish and Set-top box and sends a person from the shop where you bought the stuff to install it also. And not a Hi-Fi Engineer for whom you have to book a SLOT and wait for His Highness to come at leasure.

              Incedent - I got the "Activation Kit" (which is just a piece of paper and a scratch card) from a local shop in GURGAON for Rs.1850/-, the shopkeeper said that the installation will happen by the evening, which I certainly did not believe and called the number (12150) according to the scratch card instruction to activate my account and select the package. This agent also mentioned that there was no "Slot" for the day and an earliest SLOT for the Engineer to visit was at 10:00AM the following day, to which I agreeded. Iclearly told the agent that the commitment needds to be kept since I had to out for lunch with my family (being a sunday). He confirmed and said that the enfineer will call at 9:30 AM and visit by 10:00AM, gave me a request number[protected].

              On the following day, when the His Highness - The Engineer did not arrive I called up 12150 to enquire, the agent this time around showed sheer indifference to the earlier request and said, "I have taken the complaint and your complaint no is 2153261, I can book another SLOT for you for 12:00PM. The engineer has missed his appointment and we cannot do anything about it but give you another SLOT. If you want then I can take a disconnection request."

              I am not too sure who runs the company since the whole circus is being run at the mercy of His Highness - The Engineer! and considering the way the customer service works (who are more than willing to take down your disconnectionrequest on the first day) does suggest of worse to come.

              Airtel DTH - I suggest you skip this option, better ones there in the market.

              I continue to wait for His Highness to arrive.................
              Now, the great people tell me that His Highness can only present himself tomorrow at 5:30 PM (if he feels like it)... The call centre people are fake.

              After paying demand amount and complete documents required for the new connection the said store has issued me Mobile No,[protected] on same day and assured me for activation on the same day uptill 05:30 PM in the evening same day.

              But after lot of followup the above said mobile connection could not be activated by the said store and replied me that the said mobile number has been alloted to any other person and you are advised to select any other number or take the refund back which causes lots of mental harrasment to me. so you are requested to sortout my said issue and arrange to restore my above connection.

              After reaching Hyderabad, I called the customer care on 2st April '10 and inform them that

              1) While moving from chennai I carried my DTH along with me.

              2) Also I didn't called any of their engg. for uninstallation.

              They told me Sir it is not a porblem, Then I raised the request for reinstallation, I was told I have to pay 300/- RS as reinstallation price, which I accepted. I also told them I am not having sufficient BALANCE in my account. They told me :- Sir It is not a porblem, after reinstallation you can recharge. And Engg. will come at 10 am in the morning on 3rd April’10.


              3nd April'10.

              About 11 am I called customer care they told me engg. has missed the slotted time so they will convert my request into compliant. And it will be resolved MAXIMUM by 5th April. And also again I ask them for recharge of my account with RS 300/- . Again I was told no problem sir you can recharge after wards.

              4rd April'10

              -- Again On Morning I called Airtel customer care, I was told that engg. will be coming by 1 PM.

              --After 1 PM again I called Airtel customer Care.I was informed SORRY SIR SOME ONE MISS INFORMED YOU, Surely YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED BY 5th APRIL.

              5th April '10

              -- Again my wife called Airtel Customer Care, She was told your problem will be resolved by tuesday 6th April'10.

              -- I called customer Care, they connect me to the their so called ESCALATION team, I was told my problem will be resolved by Monday i.e. 5th April '10.

              Also I ask them why their engg. didn't turn up ? Reason I was told :-

              1. I lived in a sensitive area. [protected] Eventhough there was not a bit of trouble in my area. Even children are roaming freely throughout the area but your engg. are especial.

              2. Your address not found. [protected] just come to Hyderabad railway station and tell the autodriver the address. He will bring you into my address.

              He also told me that I will be getting the call in 2 hrs.

              -- I got the call but it was disconnected.

              -- I called them then comes the another reason for me . Sir I will reopen the new ticket for you leave that old ticket, but before that you need to recharge the account with 300/- Rs.

              I said :- 'how I can trust you people that after depositing 300/- RS your engg. will come'?

              Customer Care executive :- TRUST ME Sir surely 100 percent if you recharge to 300/- RS your problem will definitely be resolved by 6th April i.e. on Tuesday.

              I had a bit of argument with him.......... then comes the thing DISCONNECTED from your executive side.

              I had no other option but to recharge.

              -- Again I called about 10 pm in the night, I was told that my problem is scheduled to resolved by Tuesday i.e. 6th April after noon. OTHER WISE they will refund my money.

              6th April 6, 2010

              -- Morning I called twice and both the time I was told my problem will be resolved on 6th April by 1:43 p.m.

              It is already 2:00 pm. On 6th april’10 no information of the engg till now.

              One more good news ………… just now I called then I got another new service request no. Another new date i.e. 8th April’10. And same thing SORRY SIR SOME ONE MISS INFORMED YOU, Surely YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED BY 8th APRIL.

              I am fadeup with the things of customer care executive....... SORRY SIR for misinformation but I can't do any thing.



              Now what shall I need to do because Airtel precious engg is not ready to come to my place and also daily my account balance keep on reducing. Again if the things continues in this way then after 2 days my account balance will again become less than 300/- and airtel CUSTOMER CARE executive will again say first recharge for 300 RS then only our engg can come to your premises.



              I feel like cheated after using the service for 9-10 months. It seems that old customer is not important to you. What shall I do? Are all your Airtel executive to whom I talked whether they will refund my amount (which is keep on deducting from my account)? I can’t go to other private operator, which are prevailing in my area as I already paid a good sum for my right to entertainment to Airtel with the GUARANTEE OF GOOD SERVICE from your side. This is the service Airtrel is providing?

              Please take into account this complaint. And help me getting my money back so that I can go to some other vendor or get the things resolved by 24 hrs ?

              i took an AIRTEL dth connection on 25 of march 2010 but let me share my experience with you all
              i felt that the airtel digital tv is good in terms of picture clarity but the worst part is that of their customer service
              i have never seen this type of customer service
              i have been using reliance broadband but the customer service is excellent infact the customer executive cannot disconnect our call unless confirming us
              but when i called to airtel this executives were so rude and and kept me on hold for almost 25 mins wherein i could able to hear them chatting and having fun with their colleagues and then they disconnected my call even without solving my query
              later on i recd an sms stating that your complaint have been resolved
              i had called to customer care centre for almost 4-5 times but not be satisfied.

              really i would say that airtel customer service lacks professionalism they should try to improve it other wise they will definitely loose customers

              We have a landline from airtel no [protected] on which we have telephone connection, broadband and IP TV, we have been facing problems from the time we have got IPTV installed. the service person has changed the modem 3 times and visited us n number of time but the problem with wifi connection still persist, today again there was a problem with wifi and when we contacted the helpline to report the complaint, the helpline assistant Rahul was rude and had no clue what to do???? what kind of helpline service is this that people don't even know how to talk..... Would request to kindly look into it and revert asap.

              I m using the the buddy finder service and for that my account is regularly debited on time but i dont get the service at even minimum accepted level. Whenver i try to use th ervice i get displayed showing result unknown.

No number is getting through to costumer care executive (121, 12118, 1986, etc), here I am using Rs 98 monthly plan for Mobile Office, But speed is so slow that you need hours to just check you email... the maximum speed that i get i 5 to 6 KBps.. and whenever "E" (edge) comes on the speed goes dramatically down fell to 2 to 3 KBps..

              And they call it "mobile office". what the office without speed. And that too no proper EDGE facility, Edge is expected to deliver high speed but not the case with me.

              Airtel/ broadband connection — Poorest of the Poor Airtel Service. ( 2 weeks and my Plan is not yet changed)

              This is in regards to my request for changing my broadband scheme from 256kbps
              (Rs 598) Plan to 4 Mbps Plan. Following are the details of my request :

              I had placed the request on 10th May and was given an SLA of 5 days. However it's
              almost 11 working days now and there has been no plan change. I have been daily
              calling airtel (121) and everytime I have to talk to a new customer care
              executive who simply gives me a new compliant number and says that he is
              forwarding my request to concerned dept. My question is who the hell is this
              concerned dept and why can't I get their direct contact ?

              I reside in Bangalore and was here in Delhi for a month. I wanted my plan
              change so that I could work from my Home VPN. However this delay from airtel
              has thwarted my plans. I am damn frustrated with airtel service and will surely
              escalate this matter to print/electronic media . I have been trying to contact
              the airtel escalation contact Mr Gurmeet Singh (for NCR[protected] but he
              has been comfortably resting and refuses to pick my call.

              There has been no follow up from airtel inspite of my continuous phone calls.
              It's a complete topsy turvy process the way they are attending customer's
              grievances. There is no point in me calling daily and again and again giving
              same details. Every time I feel the customer executive completely clueless
              about my case. There is absolutely no record being made of my daily phone calls
              to 121.

              I also finally wrote to [protected]@airtel.in and i got a confirmation mail from them saying that my plan has been changed. However no such change has happened and in the end i realized i am only getting computer generated mails from airtel.

              I am damn frustrated and irritated and will ensure that i stop all airtel services being used at my home. Also i am planning to come up with Hate communities on Orkut/Facebook against Airtel in which i will use the social media to get to other's notice the game being played by these Big brands with people

              Hello this is my no [protected], in my phone gprs is not connected for more than one day till now it is not connected i called to customer care for more 12 to 13 they not answered me properly respond since now i started my complaining morning 9am now time is1.00am, i spoken to them more than 1.30 hrs when called morning they told it is temporary problem and they told wait for 2 hrs it will be solved if you not got connection call them so i waited for 5 hrs and i called to them again they told wait for 2 hrs you will get connection at 7 o'clock if you not got connection call them and i waited and called them at 8o'clock again again and again they told same answer that is wait for 2hrs like 9.30...1.30 and for calling them we want to wait for 2 to 3min to connecting customer care employees so today i spended more than 3 hrs for this problem i talked with every customer care for 30mins i told them to every one for same complaint and same thing to every one they also told me same worthless answer to me i called to 12138 from morning onwards they are not reasonable answers first one person told call 198 for register complaints, another one told today they not registering complaints, they are giving different different crazy answers after our same 30mins speech at last that 12138 TL some head told that we are not in charge for this, in between somebody cutted the calls toooo, and then we are called 121 head again he also speaking those crazy same mad answer why u are having so many customer care no's like 12138, 121, 19& sooooooooo, there is no power to them to refund or anything everybody telling air tell is best now you lasting by means of these, for me today nearly 15rs gone for speaking those customer care because you are charging 50paise for 3mins, i charging money that RS98 for gprs and soooo, for this only job for customer satisfaction but for us this is not a job we have so many works whenever we are free only we are using gprs, but you are doing like this.OK what you are going to say about this we only paying money and we are wasting our money too by complaining about your problems by calling customer care.

No one has come or even made a phone call to us, inspite of calling repeatedly from 4-5 days to your customer care number and to her number i dint get any response.Finally on 12th july your people have come and done the installation.But we were not able to view the channels from the time of installation and we were told by the installation person that by evening on that day the problem will be sorted out.Again inspite of registering complaint in your customer care repeatedly from 2-3 days our problem has not been sorted out even after recharging for another Rs.800/- in our account as told to do so by them.We even kept the STB on for 3 days after installation.Your after sale service has been very poor we are fed up of it and we deeply regret to have chosen your company as our Dth service provider.There are no calls or any sort of feedback taken from us from u from the date of purchase.We have been using Airtel Dth,Airtel lanline and mobile connections and now we we would like to drop all those connections and also take serious action on tour company if we dont get any response from your side within 7-15 days from the date of this letter.Kindly refer her mail to me attached to this letter.

              I had taken the connection on 13/07/2010 and the same was installed on 17/07/2010. Just after 5 days their was no signal. My wife complain to the customer care centre in my absence as i was out of stationed and it was assurured that the engineer will come within 24 hour and the complain will be resolved . i returned on 30/07/2010 the problem was still not resolved and i made a fresh customer complain on the same date dated 30/07/2010 and was assured by the customer care centre that within 24 hour engineer will visit and will fix the problem. Next day dated 31/07/2010 service engineer Name Mr. Sumit called me to verify the address and said that he is coming to my residence to fix the problem but he never turned up for the same. i kept quite that he might be busy with some assignment and will come next day as sunday is generally closed i thought that he will visit on 02/07/2010 but he failed to come on that day too. I made a fresh complain on 03/07/2010 and i got the same response from customer care centre that the engineer will visit within 24 hour and your problem will be fixed. Again the same engineer name Mr. Sumit called on 04/07/2010 for address verification and told that he will be coming to fix the problem .This time he came in presence of my father and mother who are at their 80's. He came for not more then five minutes and told them that the problem is fixed.When i came from my office the problem still persisted.Actually i had cable connection along with my Airtel DTH in my entire flat. He had done nothing to fix the problem as he has shown cable connection to my parent and taken their assurance and left. If the problem would have been resolved then it would have not been their when i came from office. This is really very bad from engineer name Mr Sumit part

              I got so furious with such type of service that in the evening i called back to the customer care centre and lodged a complain to refund back my money and disconnect the connection. I am very sorry to say that i had never thought of such type of poor service from a branded company like Airtel.No one on eartb will like to persue with Airtel service if initial service from your end is so poor. Therefore i request to plz return my depostie and disconnect my service as soon as possible.

              I had learnt a good lesson from this episode and will try my level best not to avail Airtel service in future anymore.

              It's a pity to trace the way your organisation work. I had a chat with your executive on 12150 named Chandan Das on 7th Oct, 2010, who informed me that I need to rechardge my account immideately since it has expired the validity period, the amount being Negative INR 32. Adding further he informed that if I recharge my account for an annual ultra package that would cost me INR 4368 I'd be provided a validity of extra 2 months on top of the 12 months under a scheme. I did recharge my account wherein I paid INR 4400 to clear off my due to Airtel DTH. Chandan Das had ensured that it'll take around 45 min to get the services activated once the paymentr is made.

              I received an SMS from your end (DTH Payment) on 8th Oct, 2010 at 12:44:43 PM that my amount was credited to your account and the ref number is 1566099. My services got activated. At 8:05:14 PM I was informed through an SMS from Airtel that my validity is till Oct 6th 2010. I was surprised on reading the SMS because;

              1. Why should the vlidity not be upto 7th Dec, 2011 (12months + 2 months)
              2. Even if for 12 months why is it not 7th Oct, 2011

              At around 11:50 PM I called up 12150 and had a detailed discussion with Neelesh kumar where I was made to understand that the validity will be of 14 months only if I call your organisation and request for the annual package, else it'll be considered as a monthly package!! Strange isn't it?? No where was I communicated by Chandan that I need to call you and request you to consider my payment as an annual onbe. No documents, sms or medium of communication specifies what one needs to do!! Not even a legal line 'Conditions Apply'.

              Post getting your technical loop holes I requested Neellesh to activate the account.

              On Oct 9th, 2010 (today) early in the morning I discovered that very conveniently you have not activated the following channels to name a few;

              1. Zee Bangla
              2. Star Jalsha
              3. Star Ananda

              I called up 12150 and while having a telecon with your executive Gurmeet I was made to understand that my balance is negative INR 11.64!!! No clues why is it showing a negative balance when the payment was made... On asking your mail ID he provided me with the Airtel DTH website, on making the Knowledge lacking executive the difference between a mail ID and a website he replied he doesn't know the ooficial Airtel DTH mail ID and disconnected trhe call.

              I called back immideately and your executive Akash received my call. He noted down the chjannels that were not being provided by you and assured that they'll be available by 6:00 AM today. (Please note that it's already 6:10 AM and the services of the channels have not been yet activated)On asking about the negative balance he clarified that since the recharge was in effect from 9th Oct 2010, 12:16 AM onwards and not on 8th Oct, 2010 the organisation charged me with INR 11.64! He had put a small note before we hung up where it was said that if I don't recharge the account with INR11.64 my services will get de-activated again, he confessed that the goo[censored]p or providing lack of information was at Airtel DTH's end!

              Mr. Manager, please clarify the utter mismanagement at your end. I recharged on 8th Oct, 2010 and got a confirmation SMS the same day, my services got activated. Why should the records at your end reciprocate the recharge date as 9th Oct, 2010? If it is because of my late call to you please note that the half baked communication was provided by you or Chandas Das to be precise. Why should I as a customer suffer for this?

              Please be rest assureed that it's a matter of principle for me now not to pay you INR 11.64 since the mistake was at your end.

              It'll soon be a practice for Airtel DTH to repeat such mistakes if the end cuistomers like me do not put our foot down on a strong note.

              Need your response asap along with the corrective measure. Just a note won't help this time for sure. Needless to say please clarify my documented mail through your recorded conversations. Kindly let me knoiw who's finally going to take onus of this irresponsible activity of Airtel DTH!!!

              Just can't understand since when have Airtel DTH been so irresponsible.

              Airtel DTH — If you can't even have my pack installed in time, I wonder how poor your after sales service would be.

              I have purchased the 999 south mega pack on 11th October. My customer id is [protected]. The Aitrtel DTH website clearly states that the installation will be done withon 48 hours. on 12th October I had called to confirm when the installation would be done and I was informed that the same would be done on 13th by 12:00 and I was also given the name of the technician.

              However when I called on 13th to confirm the same, a customer care agent Ms Safina and her supervisor Ms Mary told me that 17th is the date fixed for installation.

              I have two issues. 1. Howcome you have chosen the date of 17th without checking with the customer to see if it is convenient. 2. 17th is way past the 48 hour mark which is the stipulated time mentioned on the website.

              After continuously following up with the customer care, I have still got no reply on this.

              If you cant even have my pack installed in time, I wonder how poor your after sales service would be.

              Its been a miserable experience till now...

              I am facing the same problem time and again. Every time I call up the customer care they keep on asking me to wait for 30 mins. Finally the problem gets resolved after a day or two after repeated persuasion. I am totally disappointed by the poor service provided by a big brand like Airtel.

              Very upset with the 3G services launched by AIRTEL in Bangalore. They claim a speed of 21 mbps, whereas in reality, it is a maximum of just 2 mbps.

              This was also shown to their executives at the Nandidurg Road Lobby in Bangalore this evening. As usual, Airtel executives had absolutely no clue and, consequently, no answers to this.

              Pathetic, is all I can say. Why is the customer always short-changed???

                  I had purchase a airtel prepaid SIM card with valid document's after using 1 month company has bared my incoming and outgoing calls , i contacted customer care and come to know that due to negative verification of document they deleted my service, after providing all the related information on call and too many followups also not yet started my calls .                   I contacted to ARC and come to know that due to negative verification they had Deleted my number from Database .
                  I told him all the instaces which i am facing since last one week again he promised me to wait for again 72 hrs,

                    I am a valued customer of Bharti Telecom i.e Airtel over 5 years, I have complained for the very first time about a wrong charging of rs 150. But surprisingly they filed it & didn't give me any complain no. Later I called again in customer service oh my god that day the worst customer service I have ever had from Airtel. I am calling again and again @ 50p per 3 mins and every agent is avoiding my complains and routing my call to senior and after few seconds they practically end my call. I am very upset not because of my 150 Rs but I am using this connection for years and got this kind of payback. Will wait few days then determinately will borrow my number to another telecom service provider and will never suggest anybody to take this connection. I don't know if a company like Airtel charge their customer for calling customer service is this the proper way to serve or doing business !!! Shame Shame !!

                          Installation is done on 30 June, I have made a payment of 2890 Rupees online and select Economy Sport package with 155 channel including 15 HD channel.

                          I was told by service person and airtel customer care that you need to recharge after one month.

                          I have checked the channels and below channel were missed in my connection.

                          Star Cricket HD
                          Zee enima HD
                          Ten HD
                          Sony HD
                          ESPN HD ( how can you charge me for the channels which is already included in Economy sports package 404 INR)


                          Plus I have ordered Neo sport and prime. which was not in my package.

                          Now , today on 10 July my service is terminated due to negative balance.

                          I was surprised to see you have charged me for the channels which was included in my package completely free, and misguided me in the beginning and same on your website.

                          It was very painful experience in the beginning. I have already spoken with customer care, they are not understanding my point . There only focus to tell me "Sir recharge first to resume your services"

                          I have spoken to my local dealer, He told me that Yes , there is a mistake and he forwarded my complaint to Airtel, Till then recharge your account to view channels.

                          I think no one is thinking on customer service.

                          I hope someone other side in position to understand and help in better way.

                            Hi,
                            I have been using Airtel 3G in my mobile with plan (5 GB 3G GPRS Free, thereafter 3p/10KB (After 6.03315 GB 100% Free) Rental Rs 750) from 25/04/2012 and the same has been deactivated on 26/06/2012 (After seeing June month fraud bill).
                            I was shocked to see the last bill (June'2012) of more than Rs. 4900/- and contacted Airtel about it. They are telling that for the given bill cycle the data usage exceeded the free limit.
                            I had tried to contact Airtel heldesk /Nodel/ Appellat many times, but there has been no valid resolution of my concern also they are not trying to understand customer frustration.

                            It seems that Airtel tries best to keep the customer Mis-informed to cheat them.

                            There is couple of points which I wanted to raise.
                            1) On 25/05/2012 I received an intimation message Airtel that my data usage is exceeding my limit. So I spoke to CC to confirm the actual usage. I was told that, to check the 3G data uses for the current bill cycle send a message “3G USE” to 121”. I did that I received a message back about the data uses which was showing 300 MB and they said to check data usage send message to 121 which is right don't rely on message directly sent by airtel. So I continue using the services keep track of the data usage I regularly followed the procedure told by Airtel and it was well within the limit.

                            2) On 18/06/2012 (i.e. the last day of the billing cycle) around 11:59 PM I checked my data usage as told by Airtel people it was showing 4.3GB. But when I contacted Airtel customer care for the billing error they said that I have used 6.3GB data which is false. Then I lodge a compliant to Airtel customer care regarding same (compliant num:[protected]. after 2days I received a call from customer care saying the that I have used 6.3GB, then I told them that i have a message which is showing data used was 4.3GB which was checked on 18th night, then they told to mail the screen shot of that message [protected]@in.airtel.com so I did the same. Their after I keep receiving mail from Airtel it says issue has been resolved and the data used 6.3GB and 4000+ bill is valid.
                            3),In mail they are said “Please be informed that on 05/06/2012, you have received an intimation message regarding the usage as Dear Customer you have exceeded 5209MB which is more than your allocated data usage. To upgrade your pack,SMS 3G to 121" on 06/06/2012.”
                            In this case on 18th why the usage was showing 4.3GB it clearly mean that Airtel is trying cheating the customer putting extra bill to customer.



                            I just want give a heads up to new customers who is going to take 3G internet, Don’t go with Airtel service provider they will make your life hell.

The reason I activated it and all the complaints I made were regarding network issues and non specific reasons of value services. When I said I'll leave Airtel she said no issues. This is the way they cheat poor consumers. If they charged me 100 Rs Apprx and they charge 1000000 customers they swindle criers so easily. A great way to pay off the bribes in the 2 g scams. It's the mother of all consumer scams.

                            I got a SMS saying were trying to reach you. When I contacted the given number it was switched off. No resolution happens

                            Airtel — REGARDING 3G BILLING

                            As I am a postpaid customer, I have subscribed for 2G Rs. 98/- rental for 2GB plan for my internet purpose on 14th june, before that I was in zero rental 3G plan more over in our locality there is no 3G facility and i have received a bill saying that I have used 3G services. If there is no 3G services in our area how can i use 3G. When i contacted your airtel office in begumpet they told we are help less and i have raised a complaint and the complaint no. is 38103479.
                            I don't understand why Airtel has become so cheap minded. They are deducting my balance for Devotional package, game downloading... Less than a week, two complaints.. Why I need to call customer care and complain all the time????????????? And when u r asked to credit they credit mostly only of your previous day deductions... Amazingly crap!!!

                              Thank you for cheating on me.
                              I had impression that Mr. Bharti’s company will have some ethic and concern for their customers, but in past one month I realized that I was a fool who was thinking in that way…
                              I was away from Delhi for 3 months for my official project that’s why I dint pay the bill and lines got deactivate for a month or two, when I came back I received a call from a guy regarding the payment I simple asked him that if I haven’t used the line then why should I pay the whole amount including late fees and rest.
                              Then he offered me to pay 4000 Rs. Instead 5740 Rs. (Including current month outstanding) and rest amount 1740 Rs. will be waive off as I haven’t used that for couple of months and I agreed and paid that amount after his commitment that lines will be active within few hours.
                              I had to wait 3 days to use me internet as they where claiming it is under process and will be active within 4 working hours. (I have called approx 20 times in every 4 hours interval to fallow up for 3 days)
                              Then I received a call from feedback team that we have found the person who has committed you the waiver and will update in few days.
                              After 3 days again my lined got barred and then again 2 days 20-25 calls, 4 hours commitment and then service resume…

                              After a week again my lined got barred and then I called to the guy who committed me the waiver and he said he will update soon and he released the line
                              After couple of days again my lined got barred and then again I called that guy but he dint answer the call approx 10 times my call was on wait and rest of the time it was ringing he ignored but somehow my line got released without any complain (I guess that guy only done that).
                              Now your guys calling me for my outstanding and today they have sent one collection executive to my home without my persimmon or confirmation.

                              Thank you Airtel Team for irritating me in past one month and letting me know that there were no as such commitment.

                              I would love to leave Airtel Services after such cheating, now you may barred my services because I will not pay a single penny to you people…

                              because now whenever i call your customer care they simply ignore the complain and if i request them to tranfer to any senior then either i have to hold 25-30 mins or they simply discounted the line...

                                137 rs 17000 sconds free calling n cal rate 30 paisa to airtel 40 to others n 60 to landline n 200 sms local n national free

                                225 plan sum mins free n cal rate again 30-40-60 n sams free local n national

                                499 plan 20-30-60 with sms free both




                                he gave me sim of videcon n idea number to change after port n he told me earlier airtel number which are workin wil be automatically tranfer with all ports number in corparte connection ..n when i send msg from port mobile number to 121 with writtin bill plan (BP) i recived the msg i will gt 200 free mins n all calls rates in punjab .75paisa .....its a great cheating with me .n while doing the deal with me i asked abt any benifit if i gt all the numbers portable wat u giv to me ....he asked gt ur port n i will giv u one number which will end by 00001,00007 .... on tht basis i agree to port the number ..after tht i was callin him again n again abt the number he said i m just doin ur work wait 15 mins i will call u back bt never called n later he stop pickin my fone ..then i cal him from other number after 5 days he picked the fone n when i told him me callin n wat abt the number he said talk to my brother gurpreet he is worki on this whose number [protected] ... he directly said me tht he is our employee bt the number he has commited n wat he had commited is false n u will nt gt tht number ..i[censored] want tht number u hav to pay 150000 , i agree the number is paid bt y just to gt my 1 numbers port he give me false commitent .. i want u should take action against him as soon as possible otherwise with this way of workin airtel will losse the faith in coustmers....

                                  hello sir i a using air-tel 3g service from last 1 month as i had already reported this complaint 4 times but no action has been taken yet i do have an complaint number when i asked Ur advisor reagrding the status of the complaint which i made he disconnected the call he said that the problem is solved but its not. the first two weeks i am getting the 3g connection good but after that i am only getting the 2g speed that's to so worst now i really don't know what actually i need to do i had a wrd with couple o[censored]r colleagues they took the complaint but i don't know they actually working on them or not. so i need a help in order to sort out the problem.

                                  E-Complaints are answered with only an auto e-reply without any complaint number by mobile operators Idea / Vodafone etc.
                                  Are they not supposed to generate a complaint number for reference?
                                  At least even a part of the complaint is not being included in the e-acknowledgment.

                                  Require Consumer Organizations / NGO / Telecom Regulatory Authority of India / Consumer groups to check this.

                                    I have raised the request for plan migration[protected] from 1GB to 8GB on Jul 3rd 2011. I was told that the plan will be migrated in the next billing cycle which starts on Jul 26th and you will be billed as per the new plan. I got the bill of Rs 4958 for the broadband usage from Jul 26th to Aug 25th, as the plan was never migrated to a new one.
                                    I put the complaint for the billing dispute on Sep 3rd, Complaint no. 3453686, Airtel closed the request on Sep 16th saying that the plan is successfully migrated but they never corrected the bill. I called airtel again and they took another complaint for the billing dispute on Sep 21st . I am still waiting for the billing dispute to be resolved.

                                    This is extremely painful and I get no updates or no one calls from Airtel to find about the issue. On top of it , I am getting messages that you need to pay your bill otherwise services will be disrupted.

                                    Request you to look into this ASAP else I am forced to move to another provider.

                                    Its regarding my airtel bill and suffering I am facing from last 3 months. Every month I face the same problem of heavy billing without my usage and my information. This time I received my bill of Rs 759/- with VAS mobile internet volume amounting for about Rs 600/-. I got my GPRS 98 activated and deactivated, it was used for 3 days, but my bill shows heavy billing on those three days which were promised by airtel to be free are charged. Kindly take serious note of my mail as I am suffering mental agony heavily in the hands of airtel. I won't pay this amount as you can check my previous record. I will continue with airtel only if I get a waiver of Rs 600/- and an assurance from airtel that this will not happen again and again.                                     I have been registering my compaints with my Mobile Service Provider (Bharti Airtel) regarding my bill. But they never bothered to give me any resolution. They are just hungry for the money. They are sending me the fake and false bills and when I ask for explanation they never answer.

                                    I have been over charged for the internet pacakage which is activated a pack of 150 rs for 500 mb 2G and 500 MB 3G services, when I have asked about it with the coustomer care exective they say that it is our mistake we will reduce from the bill and I have been charged for the Home remidies which is been activated with my mobile which is around 90 rs ruppes for this month even they have told me they will reduce. I have not yet received any message or mail from the concerned department for paying the bill the bill date is 27 hardly there are only 2 days to go if we dont pay on time they will charge more 100 rs for late pay.

                                    So I would like to tell the concerned department to look in to this issue.

                                      My phone and my airtel sim card is missing.I want to deactivate my sim card so that no one other than me can use that sim card
                                      I could not use connection around one month and deactivated the same. I approached customer care centres and they neglected to activate the number. They said again I cannot avail the number. Number is not assigned to anyone still I don&#039;t know what is the issue with airtel. My mob number is [protected].                                         I have been using airtel landline-broadband-IPTV connection[protected] for almost two years.
                                        In the beginning the connection was working well but for the past one year I have been facing lot of problems relating to broadband and breakage of picture on IPTV. During this period, I made numerous complaints at the customer care number.I was assured of better connectivity every time I contacted them, but nothing worked out.

                                        I tried upgrading my plan to 4mbps plan (Rs.1699) for two months but the problem still persisted. So I reverted back to old plan (Rs.999) and requested for surrender of my connection on 23rd June 2012 under reference number 17641030.
                                        On 26th June I received a call from Airtel executive requesting me not to cancel the connection and assured me of better connectivity and 20% discount on my bills for a period of 3 months. I agreed to her proposal on the condition of giving it one last try.

                                        Two days thereafter I received a call from another executive informing that my request for 20% discount on the bills of next 3 months had been rejected. Meanwhile,the issues relating to connectivity too had not been resolved and I was totally fed up complaining again and again,I requested that my earlier request for cancellation of the connection be considered immediately, to which she replied that the same is open and will be taken care of by the concerned department.

                                        On 30th June 2012, I checked up with the customer care for the cancellation of my connection and it was informed to me that the earlier request stood cancelled and he was noting down fresh request and the connection will be disconnected by 7th July and even if the same is not disconnected I would not be charged any amount after 7th July 2012.

                                        On 7th July,2012, I spoke to one Gurfan Khan on customer care number and he told me that no request had been noted on 30th June 2012 and my request will be executed after 7 days from July 7, 2012.When I asked him to check all the records starting from 23rd June he reluctantly agreed to disconnect the connection and assured me that I would not be charged anything after 7th as promised to me earlier.When I asked him the reference number, he said that the original complaint was open and valid and hence no new number need be given.

                                        Still to be on safer side, I removed the telephone instrument,the modem etc on evening of 7th July 2012 and I went personally to Airtel office at Jagatpuri on Sunday 8th July to return all the equipment and clear the outstanding bill.The staff on duty refused to entertain my request saying that they dealt only with Mobile connections. I noted down the email of Mr.Manikanandan and his contact number from that showroom in case I needed to contact him.

                                        As if this was not enough, I received the worst shock of my life when I received SMS from AD-AIRSVC reading as under
                                        " Current Usage Alert! Usage on your airtel fixedline [protected] is Rs.3285. The amount has exceeded last 3 months usage pattern."

                                        My usage has never been so high since installation and such a highly inflated bill when the telephone instrument,modem and IPTV connection has been removed by me is highly improbable and clearly indicative of malpractices of sending false and inflated bills to consumers who are being cheated for having chosen Airtel.

                                        On 19th July, I tracked status of my complaint on Airtel site and discovered to my shock that that Provisioning related complaint dated 26th June stands closed on 2nd July 2012without my consent and there is no mention of any complaints made by me on subsequent days.
                                        The noting/non noting down the complaints/requests of the consumers is totally in the hands of Airtel staff and the consumers have no control over their actions.
                                        .
                                        On the same day, I received SMS from AD-AIRSVC asking me to pay Rs.1983/ due on 13th July 2012
                                        First of all it is not clear which of the two messages –one dated 16th or the other dated 19th July is correct as regards my usage.
                                        Secondly such a huge bill from 24th June 2012 (last billing) to 13th July2012 is absolutely impossible keeping in view the usage pattern for the past two years and the fact that I had removed telephone instrument and modem since 7th July 2012 . I had taken Rs.999/plan for unlimited broadband/IPTV/ and I use landline number very rarely.

                                        Thirdly, I should not be charged anything for the period beginning 7 days after the date of my request for surrender of the connection
                                        I have been trying to get in touch with Airtel authorities by calling at customer care number, visiting local office at Jagatpuri, sending mails to nodal officer Airtel, appellate authority at the addresses and telephone numbers mentioned at their showrooms and TRAI site, but these are either returned undelivered for want of wrong id or express that they deal only with mobile connections or digital TV
                                        I am feeling helpless as to whom to contact and protect myself from unwarranted billing and get my number disconnected.

                                        on expiry of two years connection period, i have requested disconnection before 7 october 2007. request not acceded to so far . i am discontinuing the use of mobile no. [protected] immediatley hence not responsible to pay any billsbeyond 7 october 2007.
                                        The bill upto 4 october 2007 icludes Rs 180 as monthly rental, which is not payable as per the plan for 2 years ending 15 october 2007. hence bill discrepancy be reconcilled , no amount payable because of advanced payment by me. kindly resolve.

                                        I would like inform you that I have purchased one Scropio SLX Engine No. BS74J65973 & Chassis No. 72J97948 from your dealer M/s R.D.AUTOMOBILES, NUTAN GAON, N.H.-37, P.O. MOHANAGHAT, DIBRUGARH (ASSAM). But with regret to inform you that I am not satisfied of service of this dealership because of the following reason & my time harrassment.
                                        1. I have done 1st & 2nd servicing. But when I have gone for 3rd servicing, they simply told that the date already passed. But when I told them that nobody inform me about my 3rd servicing than they told that they have no time to inform because they are very much busy to sell the new car.
                                        2. I am sufferring the problem of my steering & gear lever problem since june, 08 and I have visited not less than 15 times, but still the problem not rectified.
                                        I know very well the dealer service procedure because i am having One Maruti Baleno, Zen, Gypsy, One Fiat Palio, One Hundai Accent. So it is request to take the matter on top most priority so that my vehicle problem will be sort out as soon as possible.

                                        iptv — Billing after disconnection of IPTV

                                        I have been cheated by Aksh officials from the date of installation of IPTV connection. Various Complaints regarding non connectivity resulting non feature of TV programs have been lodged through phone but not even a single technician had turned up to my residence. Although atleast Rs. 500 - 1000 haven been spent on phone.
                                        Being feeling harrassed, application regarding withdrawing IPTV connection was submitted to MTNL vide O.B. No. 1038218 dated 04/04/2009 and was assured that IPTV billing would be reflected with immediate effect. But it was shocked to see May2009 MTNL bill having Rs. 199 against IPTV monthly charges. While visiting MTNL officials it was explained that until IPTV Hardware (Modem, Router) picked up by Aksh officials bill of Rs. 199 would regularly asked for payment.
                                        Under this circumstances I would like to convey the Authorities that complaint no. D/090610/10479 dated 11/06/2009 was made in Aksh wherein many telephonic calls have also made for request of pick up their instruments but matter is still vain.

I have got a call from reliance life insurance custmer care from delhi ( no. is[protected] at 4.23 pm on dated 3/9/2011, regarding insurance policy, but i refuse it. After 6 minutes (4.29 pm) i got another call from[protected], i pick the phone and the person start abusing me for two minutes, I disconect the phone then he again call me at 4.31pm and again starting abusing. After that he again call 4-5 times me but i do not pick the phone. pls find the person and take action and inform me.
