[Resolved] Airtel — Value added service | |||
Dear Sir/ Madam, I have an airtel no. [protected]. In this number one value added service "ISLAM PORTAL' has been activated. After activation airtel has been deducting Rs.3/- per day. I have been calling airtel customer care since last 20 days and I had talk with customer care Executive, Senior Supervisors and Manager several times to deactivate the service. They assured me that the service would be deactivated but till now I didn't get any result from the airtel and still they are deducting balance for the above mentioned service. Therefore, I request you to kindly take an action why my value added service has not been deactivated after informing them several times. With regards, M. The value added services like messages (Specially from 58888+[protected] with down load are coming to my mobile which i have not asked for.
Even after several reminders this facility was not removed and I had been charged with down load charges.
Request you to remove the facility from my moble.

i have not asked for the coming message from 64611001.and i m very much disappointed from the response of my complaint.i m a student and cannot tolerate these unusual expenses as my one rupee has been deducted every time even if my inbox is full please solve my oproblem.otherwise i will change my connection and this will disappoint u .

Going to change SIM soon if not action taken and never let myself and my belongings to use airtel in life.

Regarding deactivation of vas serivce 58888, my refrence no is [protected] wich you gave to us but still i received message from 58888 and whenever i refilled my balance it automatically deucted the charge.
my request is if am not interested to receive this service then why you are sendding the same again and again.
i contect customer care, hot line, call centre also but no result i saw till now so, i humble request to manager please deactive this service and refund my balance which you are deducting.

Airtel has now become the most unprofessional and unethical organization. In the name of "value added service" - which we never opted or have our consent for, they have been deducting money from a pre-paid card service. Upon realising that this is happening, i checked with the mobiles of my parents, they are also unknowingly being deducted for vairous services such as cricket updates, bollywood updats, etc. Upon calling Airtel, they indicate that they willl refund only part of the money deducted. I would want to sue Airtel for all of this and the time i had to spend in having this resolved. I would advice the general public to be aware of this "day time robbery" being conducted by Airtel.
