[Resolved] Airtel — Wrong behaviour and harassment from the company | |||
Dear Sir, I am vipul singh, resident of Delhi. in 2011 i was using airtl postpaid connection and i regularly paid the bill on time without any fail you can see the track record . My number was [protected] I the month of April 2012 i got transferred from Gujrat to delhi in month of may i paid the final bill as asked by the executive present at the airtel store located at vikas marg, new delhi. after that i closed that number. After few months my friends and family members started receiving call from Gujarat about the pending payment and saying about me. I tried to tell this thing over the phone to more then 7-8 people, also one day i got a call from gurgaon office of airtel. that lady told me not to close my number as after few months roaming will be free and i can continue using that number as I am you premium customer she will get my number converted in to prepaid free of cost and later on when roaming gets free it will get converted into postpaid so i agreed to her but nothing happened. Once a guy from airtel Gujarat called my female friend and said that she needs to pay my as she used to talk to me and that guy also stated using abusive language for which i tried to launch an FIR but when i talked to the guy he apologised and promised to delete her number. which is not at all acceptable. And on top of everything today i again got a call from some girl from No.[protected],[protected], she stated that she is calling from high court and a case has been received from Gujarat and when i asked her where you sit and whats your chamber number she was blank. how can someone use wrong government body identity. I was not using the number but the number did not get disconnected due to which the renal was getting added and it become a good amount of bill now for which you people are tracking me which is not my fault. in all of my conversation to airtel people i asked for all the details from march 2012 so that if anything is pending i will pay but no one gave me the proper details. Kindly go through the matter and get it resolved. or else i will be having no other option than going to consumer forum and take this matter to media as i dont have that much free time to talk to your fake court people or to tell the whole incident in airtel company. I am also a retailer and i was a very loyal customer of your service but never thought of having such a and cheap behavior from this so much reputed company. AirTel — Harassment by the company
This is to bring to notice about the harassment caused by AIRTEL and their third party recovery agents to the general public. I myself have been the recent victim of the same. I was using an airtel mobile number[protected] in Mumbai and due to some service issues i decided to close this number. now after 4-5 months i am getting calls from airtel regarding non-payment of the bill and they are using very abusive and bad languages. They are also calling to my friends and relatives and doing the same. The number from which i am getting calls is[protected]. I have been receiving threathening and abusive calls from Airtel for pending payment of Rs 3464.07/- from the last one month. My cell number is not operative as it has been disconnected by the telecom company, but they are calling and harrasing on my mothers number and using cheap vulgar and abusive language. A female by the name of Deepika called from [protected].She has called several times and is using threathening and abusive language. I do not know whether my complaining on this site would be of any help. I am willing to pay the pending amount but i want to take some seroius action against this women DEEPIKA. who claims to be calling from AIRTEL PUNE. Do please help me out how to go about this harrassment issue., So that some innocent people like my mother and others are saved from the harrassment and mental tortures from recovery agents or so called recovery dept personnels from AIRTEL.42%
