[Resolved] Airtel — Wrong deduction/activation of 3G Internet pack on my mobile (91-[protected]) | |||
Please provide as much information as My Mobile Number- 91-[protected] (Airtel Prepaid) 02.09.2013- I tried doing a 3G Internet Pack recharge of Rs.99 from the official Airtel Website in the morning after 11am. My money got deducted from my SBI account,but recharge could not happen. Still I waited till night thinking that the website may be undergoing some technical faults. I then submitted my complaint on the Airtel Customer Care (198) regarding the same at night (probably after 12am,effectively 03.09.2013). They apprised me of the fact that my money shall be refunded within a period of 7 days,and I can now again try doing the same recharge. I hence tried it again from their official website,and successfully got the recharge (validity till 30th September,2013). 03.09.2013- But at 7.13am in the morning,I got another SMS from Airtel stating that they have given me bonus 3G recharge of 300 MB for a period till 02.10.2013 (which was actually the data from the earlier morning recharge). Effectively I go this recharge for just 2 days which was against their plan and also against what the Customer Executive assured me about (regarding the refund for the so called failed morning transaction). I gave a call to the Airtel Customer Care (198) regarding the same,but they didnt entertained me in the 1st chance.They also assured that they would be looking into this matter and shall revert back to me by 04.09.2013 1300 hours,but this hasnt happened till now. This is the 3td such complaint against Airtel from my side in the past 3 months. Recent Problems with Airtel:- 1. Lack of accountability on the part of the company and the customer executives 2. Below par quality of the customer executives in handling the customer queries and problem redressal 3. Focus of Airtel more on sucking money from its customers by activating unwanted/unwarranted Value Added Services (VAS). I would also like to bring to their kind notice that I have been a customer of Airtel (Bharti) from 2005 both in the form of a Prepaid mobile customer and a Digital TV customer. These recent incidences on the part of the company has shown them in a poor state of affairs and the edge which they once held namely Premium Customer Care. I hope Airtel looks into this matter with utter seriousness before I become one of the many dissatisfied customer shifting to the many other options available in the market.possible...
