[Resolved]  Alagappa University, Distance Education, Tamil Nadu — distance courses not recognised by DEC,new delhi

I am doing BLISc. From Algappa by Lucknow study centre. Sir I want ot know DDE (BLISc- Bachelor of library and information science COURSE by alagappa university, karaikudi is Distance Education Council approved or not. Please intimate me at the earliest.

I want to PhD in Library Science from Dravidian University. Some people are telling that, this is valid and government of Andra Pradesh but some people are telling that this University is not valid for Govt Jobs.

I compleated M.Sc.Physics thro Distance Education from Annamalai University, Cihdambaram. Which is approved by DEC.Let me know whether the same course is approved by AICTE to get promotion on Engineering wing of All India Radio.
Note: Regular students are eligible.

I did my M.Phil from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. I admitted in the year 2006, and got degree in 2007, now I am appointed for the post of degree college lecturers conducted by KPSC. I want to know whether M.Phil (Comp Sc) degree from Alagappa University, Karaikudi for the year 2006-07 is valid or not. Please let me know.

i have appeared for F.Y.BCA program from ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY & I read the news that the ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY is not Does not have DISTANCE EDUCATION COUNCIL(DEC), NEW DELHI GRANT to provide Distance Education courses so at the end of clearing my courses, the certificate which i get is valid OR NOT for my higher education(i.e. PGDCA, MSC-IT, MCA, etc) or for Govt. jobs ?

AND For my better can i change my university for the S.Y.BCA program, if yes than sugest some university which are Approved by UGC, DEC & so on whichever required ?

BUT the ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY SAYs that it approved by UGC & Aggerated with NACC ("A"grade), SO what it means ?

Sir,

I have joined M.Com in correspondence Mode in your University Through Bits & Bytes study Centre, Karur[protected] . While Joining time the Bits & Bytes Manager told me that he will be giving the ID Card after the signing process from the BDU University, Trichy.

Before one month I have approached the Manager of Bits & Bytes Study Centre, Karur for getting the ID Card, But he told me that the contract of Bits & Bytes with BDU University has been Closed. So he told me to get the ID Card from BDU University, Trichy directly. Now I have paid the Exam Fees, for the Current Semester Starting on 10/06/09,

But I am unable to write the Exam due to the Non Receipt of ID Card & Hall Ticket. when the Bits & Bytes Contract with BDU University is Closed. I have received the alter study centre form from bdu university tricy and I have choosen the karur government arts college study centre.

so I also went to the nearest choosen study centre Which is located at Thanthonimalai government arts college Karur, They also told me to go and get the documents directly from bdu university trichy. Actually I am a working person that’s why I joined in the correspondence Mode.



But now they are telling to collect the ID Card & Hall ticket from BDU University, Trichy Directly. For Coming from Karur to Trichy and getting the Documents is Impossible for me, Because it takes full working day.

So due to this I have not only wasted my Exam Fees, but also the Duration. So this problem is from your management side. Now for this problem you have to give a proper solution for me because this is your mis management . I WANT PROPER SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM. NOW IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE PROPER SOLUTION I AM GOING TO LOSS ONE YEAR OF EDUCATIONAL CARRIER. YOU ARE THE FULL RESPONSIBILTY FOR MY ONE YEAR STUDY TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY SIR.( I wait for my id card and hall ticket till now.(to day morning 9.30am) That’s why to day is my second exam. till now I can’t receive my id card and hall ticket . so I mail you.

Karnataka public service commission has selected me as degree college lecturer by conducting interview through my M.Phil qualification in Alagappa University. But one of the member went to the court and brought stay on this recruitment. He pointed out that alagappa university is having DEC approval only for 2008-09. It is not having approval from DEC for previous years.
I donot know whether they applied through post fact recognisation for Dec approval to the university or not?
If not, am I eligible for doing the job in governament colleges according to the DEC rule?
If the university get post fact recognisation from DEC, Latter can I ask governament to provide Job?
Please answer to these questions immediately.
