Brought a flat in Sector-114 Golf link mohali. Paid agreed amount in full. Delay in posession by 14 months now I have received a letter of posession stating that I owe them 4.25 lac on account of increase in area.
It is a first floor flat and how area of first floor can increase? After carefully looking at the new floor plan, It was found that they have created two tables, on the table where they have consolidated total area, they have manipulated the data and inflated the total area.
This company is cheat. Letter states that physical posession will be handed over 25-30 days of receipt of remaining 4.5 lacs as there is no flooring, taps and even no electric buttons installed in the flat including internal doors.
Please be careful while dealing with this company

I totally agree with all the above. The builders are playing on the intelligence of the invester public.

we purchased two studio apartmentsin known as "Celeberity Suites in the proposed complex"City Centre" situated on Kharar-Landran road, SAS Nagar, Mohali .Its Regd.Office is situated at A-1/18B, Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi-110002 and Chandigarh office :SCO 183-184, sector( c, Chandigarh.
The cost of one studio Apartment is fixed ar Rs, 18, 81, 000 measuring 627sq.ft. We paid the one time payment under the down payment plan of rs.16, 36, 470+(Rs.94050to be paid at the time of possession +Rs.50000club membership feeto be paid within 60 days of of the allotment)of the each Studio Appartment.In accordance with the allotment agreement signed between the lparties
the possession was to be given within 18 months of the date of agreement signed.Now almost 31 months have already passed but there is no sign of construction except the models of the apartment.The Ansals is fraud and no.one cheat company as they are duping the hundred's of the innocent citizens of the area.As we have gathered the reports that they launched the project on a disputed land which was under litigation and they never informed the customers before booking the flats/studio apartments and they have collected the corers of rupees from the innocent citizens for there different projects which can never be completed in the other 10 years.they have be fooled and cheated the innocent citizens of the area.I therefore appeal to the perspective customers please donot invest into the projoects of Ansals and please do not waste thier hard earned money.I further appeal to all those who have been befooled let us constitute an action committee to start an agitation to expose the sinister designs of the Ansals.Please contact the undersigned on my Mobile:[protected] my email :[protected]@yahoo mail.co.in. I am allotte of a flat in Exclusive floor, Sector 114 Mohali.
- Recently I rcvd a posession letter stating increased in area in the tune of Rs. 4.25 lacs
- I booked a park facing flat and they removed the park giving reference of some clause in the agreement.
- I am told to take posession by paying above mentioned amount but letter states that they need 30 days after payment to install flooring and taps etc.
- I had to experience an exceptional hardship as demand of installment was as short as within 2 days and freequency of installment letter was such, that I recieved 3 demand letters in one month.
- Two times, I was offered prompt payment discount, which i made. However, it now reflect as balance against me and interest charge of Rs. 26K on top of it. New General Manager denies to recognize, any such offer in the past.
- When we booked this flat, we were offered 50K dealer discount. We were given 6 month post dated cheque by their top authorised dealer in their chandigarh corporate office, but it bounced 3 times and we didn't get the refund until we approached court. The whole process took 1.5 years.
To my experience, Ansal is a fraudster company and they are in breach of trust and breach of agreement.
They have bunch of people who just abuse legal terms and manipulate data for the interest of the company and company is engaged in wrong and unlawful practices.
They have recently supplied a floor plan, showing increase in area at the time of posession. In that floor plan, they have made two table, while consolidating they have fudged the data and inflated the area and thereby total cost.
Please don't encourage such things to happen. If you are victim of Ansal API, please share your information with me and we can start a joint legal process in the interest of everyone.
