[Resolved]  Authorized Bajaj Service Center — What the hell ?

Hi all,

myself vishal d.ghodke working in pune as an it professional. i am having a bike kawasaki eliminator which i have purchased from my first saving (2nd owner) and which i love very much. in the month of september 10th my bike was under repaired by luck i got a bajaj authorized service center on the same spot. i was very happy that i got the best place to repair my bike. i always prefer authorize service center for my bike. so i handed over the bike to the engg. working in the service center and i got to know that the problem was of engine. the problem was of block piston, clutch bell, oil pump, bearings etc. according to the engg was suppose to replace. the estimate of repairing given to me is rs. 18,000/-
i paid the advance to mr. shah (owner of the service center). now the problem is, today its more than 2 months and i have not yet received my bike. serving in pune without a bike you can experience it coming down to pune. i am spending half of my salary in traveling. i am not able to make any progress nor any future plans. please try to understand my problem.
i asked mr. shah regarding progress of bike and he always say that 'ya it going on. the baja company is not having the spare parts (oil pump and clutch bell)'. what the hell happened to bajaj? it always introduces new bikes but soon these bikes get outdated and we don’t get the spares of these bikes as the company stops the production of it. now what shall we do? whether to put the bike in garbage or keep it as a show piece? i purchased the most expensive and sexiest bike according to me but i am not satisfied with the service given to customers by bajaj service centers. i really don’t know that mr. shah is a bluff master or bajaj motors is responsible for this.
so, please ask the owner or supervisor of baja motors to look into this matter and kindly guide mr. shah who is having his service center in aundh, pune ph[protected]. this is really becoming inconvenience for me and if there is no action taken against this matter within 10 days "bajaj motors" will become an abuse word and i will never prefer or suggest bajaj hence forth.

i have bajaj xcd, puchased from sai service pune on aug 09, from this dat, i have riding 11, 000 km on bike, from 1 km i have facing problem of RPM and cilencer loose, i have complain regarding the same, also done 4 servicing, but said problem have still same, not yet resolved

Well,

The bajaj service station in Aundh is the worst one.
please refrain from going there.

Many of my friends bike has been damaged by them. He overcharges for everything. I have already complained to bajaj for them. but no improvement.

I am not sure, why his bajaj dealership is not canceled yet.

I am pankaj at SASARAM in BIHAR.It is inform to you that i am a customer of your company and I have a pulsur 150. On the dated 19-10-09my bike in problem not self starting so i gave it to verma bajaj service centre in SASARAM after that complete one days loss and problem did not solved by service centre and without problem solved labour charge payable 100Rs.in INVOICE-NO, 3522.Their is honour and manager used me abused word and both person behaviour is very bad.Their mechanics are not trained.
I requested to respected BAJAJ get a step against this type of very poor service centre.

I would suggest one thing Bajaj people are nothing but simply chinese manufacturers in India. They just attract customers by asthetics and low cost.
I am 150 cc pulser holder. Purchased in full cash in pune. Various problems but no entertainment.

Just do two things -1)Go to consumer forum and lodge a complaint
2)spread word for not purchasing bajaj bikes atleast to 1000 people through mail. Try to explain your issues with them. Lets destry the people who to bring down Indias image by this 'chindi' (low cost) production.

i have pulsar 200cc, purchased on august 2009.. the problem is very low pickup, noising from engine, noising handle from last 5month, & hum ne hamesha time pe authorized service center se servicing karaya hai... but problem abtak shortout nhi hua hai...
what should i do...

IT IS SURPRISING, THAT, AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRES IN KALYAN IS PRACTICALLY FAR AWAY FROM THE MAIN CITY. THE SAME HAS STARTED FROM 01.01.2010. HOW CAN WE BE PROUD OF BAJAJ BIKES. WE FEEL IT IS A PUNISHMENT TO BUYER. SECONDLY WHY THERE ARE NO SERVICE CENTRES IN BIG CITY LIKE DOMBIVLI? CAN BAJAJ AUTO TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY. SECONDLY., SPARES ARE NEVER AVAILBLE IN SERVICE CENTRES.

LASTLY, IF WE COMPARE THE SERVICES OF HERO HONDA WE REALY FEEL SORRY FOR BAJAJ AUTO FOR NOT BRINGING THE COMPANY AT PARELLEL WITH THEIR COMPETITORS. JUST SELLING THE VEHICLES DOES NOT MEAN THE BUSINESS.

i am not at all happy to the service of mgb bajaj sanath nagar hyderabad. In the service center all are of doing fraud in many times. my bike is fully conditioned before i had a service in mgb bajaj serice center, after my bike is having lack of conditon after doing the service. They chare labour cost, engine oil, and other minor repairs, but they are doing neglect service, i had told already my bike is having disk problem but they dont do, and one major problem is they are change my bike parts and put the old parts in my bike that's why my bike mileage is slowly down. Here is no customer satisfaction, and their behaviour is too bad and there is no neetness in service center.

this Natesh from Bangalore i had heard more complaints on bajaj service centers and also self experienced. not only problems in pune same problems in Bangalore also.bajaj products are bulsheet, and their authorized service people are also ideates. i don't know why bajaj people are giving permission for service center.

Having a rough as an service manager, no one is satisfied with his approach. And the customers are getting irritate among the people working in the service center . they are treating the customers as not even a human being . That gentleman's name is Mr.Basker. he thought that all the bike owners are the lay man. And they are giving service to all the customers. so they are the king of the customers . we have to safe guard the customers from the arragent, rouge ideatic, fools . The management is also not taking any action against the person. The company should take the proper action against him.

hi my name is jithin and i have a pulsar classic model 180 cc.it has larger tyres than the normal ones and it does have a k and n filter.i ve been riding with this change for almost 3 years.recently like 4 months back its decompression spring in the cam shaft got broken but it was still running fine with one excemption like it was lacking slow speed.other wise it was perfect.so a month ago i gave to deedi bajaj paruthipara trivandrum and i told them the matter and gave them amble amount of time.when i got the bike back they told they changed the decompression and didnt change the cam shaft.after that i ve never run the bike smoothly and self start was not getting started..pick up is not there and from the engine side there is a sound like hitting with a hammer.my machanic who was outside told me that some studied in my bike with the timing chain.i gave the bike to kaimanam deedi and they put the estimate as 5000rs.this is my second complaint and the first one was put forward by my brother some years back and after that they did fine.bike number is KL 01 Y 448 red classic 180 pulsar.i hope some thing would be done at the earliest.

Iam mahaveer from chennai i hav 180cc pulsar. This's witth reference to the bike (TNAL015487)given for servicing at the service center at chennai (adyar).I had given the bike on 1st nov and was asked to collect the same on 2nt nov.By 2 pm iwhen i came to service center i was asked to come again by 6pm.I have given my bike for genral service, they are taking so much time.The bike has not yet been seviced and i have been asked to come in again tomorrow.This is happening every time when i give my bike for service. I am not at all satisfied with the service iam recieving and would like the concerned authorities to take action to ensure the work is properly completed by tomorrow positively.And please this shouldn't never happen again.

I agree with the attitude of the service centre guys/managers/service advisor. Every time I go to do my bike service at HIND MOTORS, MOHALI they take petrol from my petrol tank to clean my air filter. I contact the centre manager he told me in a rude voice that every customer is giving petrol for their cleaning why not you? Bajaj is not providing any petrol for cleaning.

They take money for service they take money for every bit of work but they even not provide a cleaning oil so that the customer has to give the same.

Very bad... I want to know is this a policy from Bajaj or they just forcebly take the petrol?

Dear friends.
This is M.IMRAN from CHENNAI. I agree to all the complaints mentioned above. Even i have faced only problems with BAJAJ service people. Let me tell the experience that i had with Bajaj. I have PULSAR 150 Dtsi. I got this bike a year and half before. When i got this newly there was lot of noise in the engine then i took the bike to the dealer and he said he can hear a noise and said he will rectify it. He had the bike for two days and i got back and there was less noise in engine. After a week the same problem started again and i took the bike to the dealer and the second time he was explaining me that there will be noise in the engine once it runs more than 5 kilometer, which is not acceptable at all. i have never heard this from any one. He was explaining me with the engine parts saying that the dimension is modified and because of that am hearing the noise. This service people think we dont know technical things and they say some crap and make us believe. In the beginning itself i was not happy with BAJAJ.

Then after few days again i can hear a lot of noise in the engine. I showed the bike to many bike engineers and they said there is a noise for sure. Then i went to dealer and made the complaint and they told me to take to KHIWRAJ (Chennai) which was the main service center in Chennai. They said there is a noise will rectify it at the same time the engine gets hot so fast which should not happen. They tested the temperature of the engine and said its 95c which is normal but i don think its normal. They had it for three days and returned the bike saying that the problem was with the Timing. Again i got the same problem and they took the bike saying noise in engine and returned it saying no problem with the bike. These continuous to happen four times. Then really got fed up with bike. Am a THERAPIST i can’t spend time in service center every week. Still i have the same noise in the engine.

The next problem is with the BAJAJ two wheeler loan. They will debit money from my account and it will be credited back to my account in three days after few days the customer service guy will call me and will say the last month transaction is bounced. When i checked my statement its clear they have debit and credited back. When i reported a complaint they said it’s the problem with the bank and i spoke to bank they said it’s not their problem. i was going back and forth between my bank and BAJAJ Loan office and because of their problem i need to pay fine of RS 350. This is not a good customer service at all.

About my last service with KHIWRAJ, I gave the bike to them saying that the bike is going for PONDICHERY after two days and do a proper service. I told them to change the chain sprocket and also the Disc pad and the disc brake was not proper. The moment i turn the bike on the back light will be glowing with out turning the lights on i explained the problem clearly. The service engineer said he will call me once it’s done. i told him take two days and return the bike with proper service. On second day till afternoon i dint receive any call from them. i called him up and asked what’s the status ? He said he will call me back. i received a call in the evening at 4 PM saying there is no stock for chain sprocket and disc pad and few more items. Such a big service center and calling me and telling this at the end of the second day. This was not acceptable at all. Then he said he will do a normal service which was of no use to me and they charged RS 2150 for the normal service. i went to service center at 5 PM and i stood there for 3 hours to get the bike. I got the bike at 8 PM. When i tested the bike, the chain was not tightened and there was catch while racing and there was not good pick up at all and as usual the engine noise. I told him this entire problem and they did something for the pick up and it was OK. Then i said the other problem they dint seems to take care at all since it’s the end of the day and they have to leave. By seeing the condition of the bike I never took that to PONDICHERY. Because of them my complete plan was spoiled. After two days a lady called me up and asking for the feed back for the service. i hope you know what would have been the answer.

I am really a unhappy customer with Bajaj. Friends can you please suggest me a good service center in Chennai who can do the service properly for bikes. Am really fed up with Bajaj and going further I will never give my bike for service in KHIWRAJ. So friends please suggest me some service center.
