Bajaj Auto — BAJAJ PULSAR - What a hell?
Dear Sir,As per the trailing e-mail, the problem of PULSAR 150 DTSi was sent to you regarding problem of timing chain ( Guide broken at 10,000 kM and bike was purchased on 18th June 2010). After 2000 kM i.e. at 12,000 kM its piston went off ( the bike PULSAR 150 DTSi Number DL 8 S AU 6652 was purchased on 18th June 2010 from BAGGA LINK PITAMPURA).
Now till today, in nutshell the new PULSAR 150 bike purchased in 18th June 2010 has the problems:
1. Timing chain – GUIDE broken at 10,000 kM
2. Piston got failed – 12,000 kM3. Piston Head Assembly- needs replacement at 15,000 kM
The bike is handed over to BAGGA LINK, Rithala on Saturday (09-Apr-2011); they have thoroughly and given me this information that piston head assembly needs replacement and I have to wait for 2-3days.
The issue is not from service of BAJAJ or BAGGA link. The main thing which I am concluding from all these is that there is some manufacturing defect in this particular bike and this can not be permanently sorted out. I request you to kindly replace this bike or buy back this bike as I am fed up this bike. BAJAJ or BAGGA can give me service for replacement till WARANTY PERIOD after that I have to face this music on my own expense.
It is my humble request to you that kindly take a call on replacement of this bike or buy back this bike.
Kindly think on my part also, how embarrassing I am feeling because I have purchased I wrong product of a big BRAND like BAJAJ?

Subject: regarding complaint of BAJAJ- PULSAR – 150 DTSi & Service Centre
This is regarding the complaint of BAJAJ _ PULSAR -150 DTSi DL -8S -AU-6652. I bought it on 18th June 2010. Earlier to this I was using same BAJAJ – PULSAR- 150 (old Model round Head Light) during 2003 to 18Th June 2010.
Problem came after my Third free service (After running 9800 Kilometers). I went to BAGGA LINK (Rithala, New Delhi) Service Center and complaint about noise in Bike. I was told that timing chain is creating this noise, so either it would be replaced or it would be set right and roughly estimate of Rs 550 was told to me. I agreed for the same and handed over the bike to service center. As per the practice I was given time in evening to take back the bike. I went in the evening (Mean while no call was made to me for anything) and was advised to replace the timing chain in next service, I asked whether it would create any problem till that time, I was told no problem I may continue till next service. On faith of PULSAR I came back with my bike.
After running roughly 500-600 Kilometers suddenly bike stopped with noise and didn’t worked again. The time was 7 PM in night and I had to catch I repair shop for this, because it was late evening and I was in a remote place. After checking it was found that timing chain (its supporting part) was broken, Piston valves got tilted and there was no way to move ahead. Mean I had to get it repair instantly. Finally after 3-4 hours it was set right and I was left with lost confidence in BAJAJ-PULSAR which I had for last 7 years.
The conclusion is that :
1. NEW BAJAJ PULSAR MODEL is inferior to the older version as no body could believe that timing chain may get non functioning / DAMAGE after 10,000 Km.
OR
2. Service centre people have not done their work properly. Had it been replaced in third service I would have not faced this problem. This may be due to the pressure of doing number of bikes in a day so they did not bother to replace this, what ever may be the problem to the customer. (The copy of third service attached for your kind reference where Timing chain replacement was advised. If they could have replaced it I was not having any objection , who would take risk to continue with defective timing chain to suffer?)
Finally I know in advance that BAJAJ is not going to bother for one bike complaint, but If I am right , design of new BIKE and services of service centers are like this it may not be good sign for BAJAJ in coming future.

I am having a bajaj vehicle .I had purchase this vehicle at Amba bajaj showroom, garvebavipalya, bangalore. I met evertime worst services. I am already given the vehicle for repair on 10.04.11. Near one month over I am not get back my vehicle., every time they tell me that my vehicles parts are no stock, and now they told us that all parts they have but machanic is not there so still i am waiting for another a week. What a worst service they will do. In service center machanic is absent then they will take machanic from their nearest service center.What is the use of the vehicle is given to bajaj sevice center and they will not take any care on their service . so please take immediate action against them and given to strictly order to make a customer requirement first other wise i will forcefully take a complaint against them Or Bajaj Company (responsible Person) . I waiiting till 2days and i am not getback my vehicle in goood condintion i have to go to consumer court

Hi I am Periyasamy. I have bajaj discover 150, purchsed from Vishnu Bajai Showroom In Namakkal on Aug 26 2011. Now I am working in Eureka forbes Ltd in Chennai. I have serviced my bike at Vishak bajaj in poonamallee, chennai on 27th Dec - 2011. I have told them that my bike self start is not working properly. They informed me that the battery was got problem and need to change the battery. How can a battery got faild with in 4 months. Finaly I give my battery waranty card with them to arrange new battery. They are taken my bike battery for testing.
They told me that new battery has come on wednesday 4.1.2012. Past three days I am walking to the service centre to change the battery, but nothing is happend. tTey told that the new battery comes without charging we charge the battery and then we change. I didnt understand that how can they charging the battery. The battery is charging three days? when they are going to solve the problem. I have vexed a lot because of there service. This is very very very poor service.

Bajaj service centers behavior is very worest, I bought a discover 150cc on 24.08.11, and I have given my bike for service in MGB-Erragadda on morning while coming to office and taken delivery on evening while going home in night and I have not noticed the scratches on shock's(I thought they have changed the back shocks, coz after that I have noticed that if i ride with second person back shock's action is very poor, they are touching the bottom for even small speedbreaker),
2nd thing, I have not noticed the mud on disk break and also inside of mud-gar while taking delivery coz that is night time, I have noticed these things while cleaning after a day.
And they dont even bother of the bike, very rough handling, they are cheaters (this is not correct word but I am unable to get a word with such meaning) dont go for bajaj bikes.
Recently I have noticed that small oil leakage from my engine part, i have taken to bajaj service center(name i dont remember) but it is near to suchithra towards jeedimetla(hyderabad), they have not fixed the problem at all and saying that its got fixed, for this reason mileage of the bike is also reduced.
DONT GO FOR BLOODY BAJAJ, GO FOR some other bikes whose service after sales is good.

Now i feel that its better to put my bike in a local garage for servicing rather than bajaj service centre.
bajaj services are pathetic.
I wonder, whether Bajaj people even read these complaints...
Would appreciate if Bajaj improves its standard n gives its customers, value to their money.

Dear Manager,
This to let you know that, I have purchased a new Bajaj Pulsar 135 cc vehicle from one of your authorised service centers (ROYAL MOTORS, located in Triplicane, chennai, Tamil Nadu) on May 28th 2013.
I had bought the bike without any finance by direct cash paymnet and I had recieved the vehicle after 8 days of making the payment. At this point of time, I was promised that within 7 working days my vehicle would be registered and after 45 days from there I would be receiving the RC book, insurance and other papers.
But, its been more than 4 months and I have not yet recieved the RC book for my vehicle. I am forced to say this that the service centers you give authorisations to are pathetic and not at all customer service oriented. I have been visiting the service center atleast once or twice a week and every time I was given some false promises or disgusting reasons but no steps were taken to arrange for my RC till date.
Its really frustrating and annoying that inspite of making a direct cash payment and submitting all necesary documents required for registration I was not given RC till now.
Can this issue be taken seriously and take necessary actions for providing my RC atleast now.
Note: I have also called in to your customer care toll free number several times but the call gets disconnected every time when your agents put me on hold for gathering information. Finally on one call I was told that, they couldnt locate the service center online and so I have to send you a mail to lodge my complaint.

I have went to Bajaj service center for repair and service bajaj discover 125 cc. There is very minor problem in the main stand and a very little bend in handle due to falldown in the parking at service center Habsiguda X road Hyderabad mechanic's could no able to do this. This show either Bajaj service is very bad or workers are lazy . I paid Rs 600/ -service charge excluding any spare parts. The service was really horrible .

Don't go to GEMS Bajaj, Hadapsar. My new bike important parts they changed and within 1 year I have paid more than 14000 only for normal service. Every time they have changed engine oil break oil.
PRINCE AUTO CENTER (Bajaj Authorized Service Center), Nagar Road Pune.
1.They will always charge you more than the estimated cost.For example my estimate was Rs.1500/- and promised of it will not exceed it but actually charged me Rs.1900/- giving reason for replacing n number of parts.
2. Mechanics working here are not trained and there was only one mechanic due to which I got my bike one day later than promised.
3.Most importantly they do not know the exact assembly and dis-assembly of the variants in bajaj bikes and eventually will damage the bike parts and then later claims childish that it were damaged previously.
Bajaj should really have to rethink while allocating their authorization to any service centers.
They are badly spoiling the reputation of the brand.
