[Resolved] Ava Merchandising — Black berry curve | |||
I flew Jet Konnect, AVA merchandising had tied up with this airline and had a in-flight promotion where we had to bid and collect the product on dis-embarking the flight. I arrived in Mumbai airport, armed and happy with my BID, collected my black berry paying rupees 10,099 through credit card. I was on an onward journey, the black berry could never be re-charged - on checking it was found that the entire hand set was a fake. Now, AVA merchandising is neither contactable nor reachable through email. I am exploring options of filing a case in the consumer court. first of all WHY DID JET AIRWAYS tie up with such a fraudulent company, ICICI too had tied up earlier i heard, why do reputable organisation tie up with such BAD ORGANISATION. Both these organisation have in FINE PRINT that they are not responsible for these promotions, BUT THEY ARE THE ONE INDUCING the consumers....paise bhi gaye aur chen bhi, as someone stole 10k right under my nose.... Even I am a victim of this fradulent scheme run by AVA merchandising in collusion with Jet. My story is exactly similar and the set is not functional. And there is no recourse either.
Firstly, I think it was negligence on my part on not checking the handset properly and blindly trusting the vendor.
That said, it's unfortunate that there is no response from AVA merchandising. And, a reputed organization like Jet Airways associates itself with such fradulent partners and promotes their offereings.
Not only are they duping the customers on the price front but also on the quality and the product.
I am not sure what I can do but I'd like to initiate some action against this.
