Axis Bank is worse and Kotak Mahindra & ICICI equally bad and corrupt. Whom to trust in ever increasing number of private banks - with Manmohana gone and big mouth - actor, director, musician and all in one - Modi in saddle do you expect change????
my Axis account is active or not
I used my Axis account 1.5 yrs aback but now i want use it again. may i know whether my Axis account is active or not if it is active i want to use it. I have gone through all members frustration. In-fact, there are many such who are behind the screen and not educated to whom to contact and where to go. Now a days, axis bank statement also very typical to understand. In my case, i was out of country and my loan amount was due for just 10 day and these guys send someone to my home.
Honestly, i have used major banks in india. This is such a nasty bank and running like "danda". I really do no understand why rbi is not taking any action against such an idiotic banking services.

I can feel what you all are feeling as I am also a victim of poor customer service and delaying, frustrating tactics
of Axis Bank Fort Mumbai branch.
They are not even answering why they can not release FD amounts of my late mother who registered me as her nominee. The struggle with this bank and callous and disdainful attitude of Axis Bank Fort branch employees is alarming.
RBI rules clearly state that a registered nominee of the deceased accountholders FDs should be transferred funds within 15 days without hassle. I told them that I will be a trustee of the funds until legal heir ship is decided.
I can not believe how Indians tolerate such low quality customer service that they are not even told for 6 months why the funds can not be released...It is more than disgusting. Not giving straight answer and keep the client in limbo for months is strange. I never had such a bad banking experience ever in India or in USA.
My fear is that what if they released funds to someone else and not telling me (the nominee)about it.
Do you know how to get answers from these incompetent employees of Axis Bank Fort Mumbai branch.

Poor bank...i had a youth account with axis bank the provision of 0 balance account, as a student i opened this account and was promised that i wont be charged any amount as not maintaining the nonsense AQB system. This was opened 5 years back, i get messages frequently saying that my balance is 0 zero, so i thought to use the account instead keeping it unused, when i visited my branch i got the reality to know that i have to pay 2500 as lein amount to use it... What the hell that axis bank trying to do with the customers. Still i am ready to use your account if you waveoff my lien amount... I have sbi, kotak, bob accounts with everything clear records... If you wish you can accept my proposal.

Remove lien immediately of 46000 or close salary account.
