[Resolved] Axis Bank — Failure to Credit Account | |
I hold a joint savings account with Pitam Pura Branch of Axis Bank. The account number is [protected]. On Mar 24, 2008, a deposit of Rs 10000 in cash was made from Rohini Sec 7 branch into the specified account. Also I issued a cheque for Rs 10000 towards premium of my insurance policy. Howwver, due to the nedligence of the bank, the money was not credited into the account and the cheque was subsequently returned on Mar 26, 2008. When I came to know that the cheque has been returned, one of the joint holder visited the branch on Mar 29, 2008. They said that the money is not deposited. On producing the counter slip, they credited my account with Rs 10000. Additionally this is very surprising to note that the payment which they credited on Mar 29, 2008 was reflected as BY CASH, when the deposit was made on Mar 24, 2008. Myself Md.Asif transfered 2000/- reference no HD[protected] from my hdfc bank online on 1st of october 2008 to a/c no [protected] (bokaro) in the name of sir leather . but the payment had not received by the a/c holder yet.Inspite of talking to the customer service asssociates of axis bank so far i did not get any help.I m writing to you so that you resolve the issue as soon as possible along with interest accrued so far other wise i will follow legal channels...nd i will advse my father to do business with other bank.My ph no is +[protected].

my joint account no [protected] at palam branch.
i deposited a cheque no 657424 from post office sarojani nagar new delhi on 30/03/09 by hand in the same branch and requested the desk person to verify my a/no and deposit my cheque.
they told it will be done.
on 02 april 09 they phoned your name is not matching .
once i personally deposited the cheque are they so busy that they can not verify the same.
once i applied correctly for joint account then how it got wrong entry of name?
means they are negligent and not caring the customer.
i can really very upset with banking in corporate sector bank.
if it continues the same this branch's future is in dark.
please save us from embarasing position .

Follow up with the bank in part of negligence has voided and they are not ready to compensate me for their negligence.
This is the worst kind of banking service which I have ever received.
