[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Credit Card Denied for no reason

This is in reference to the Lifetime free Credit Card Scheme AXIS BANK offered me.
One fine morning a AXIS bank employee calls me and informs me about this Lifetime Free Credit Card Scheme wherein I’m eligible for a Gold Credit Card. He tells me that all the employees of EnCircle (my current employer) are eligible for this Credit Card Scheme. Then the next day, they turn up at my office and call me outside my office to give more information about their Scheme, thus hurting my production time. Although reluctant to proceed with the AXIS bank, some how he convinced me to proceed further with the application as it is Lifetime free. The Salesman told me that I’m eligible for the Gold Card and took all the required documents from me.
Then came the round of Nagging Phone calls for Verification from the AXIS bank CC team, and I replied the same honestly.
Today I got a SMS from them that my Silver credit card application has been denied, without any clarifications. Now have these guys gone crazy……first its not me who applied for this Credit Card, its they who offered me this Card, wasted my precious time, took my documents and then tell me that your application has been denied. Secondly they denied me a Silver credit Card, but according to them wasn’t I eligible for a Gold card? Third on what grounds have they denied me a Credit card. I have a pretty good credit history and also my monthly inflow is pretty good which forced their Salesman to tell me that I’m pretty easily eligible for a Gold Card.
I would advise others not to waste time with AXIS BANK in Credit Card matters as I have heard from my colleagues about similar complaints.

Axis Bank Credit Card — Credit Card Denial

One fine morning a AXIS bank rep came to our office for AXIS bank credit card. Although reluctant to proceed with the AXIS bank, some how he convinced me to proceed further for application . Since i already hold Gold credit cards from ICICI and SBI, i gave hime latest statement copy with other details and papers. As per their criteria, i am eligible for GOLD card, and i keep a close check on credit card payments in time.

Then came the round of NAgging Phonecalls for Verification from the AXIS bank CC team ., and we replied the same honestly.

Today i got a SMS from them that credit card application has been denied.. without any clarifications but- ofcourse. I called up their Phonebanking and got the same reply "SORRY'

now i give a damn even if they give me 100 days credit with the credit card ;), but i would like to request all people that TAKE EXTRA CARE WHILE GIVING YOUR CONFIDENTIAL INFOS (especially current credit card statements / Photocopy of credit card and other confidential details ), especially to AXIS bank.
You may never know in future you may come up with a hefty amount of Bill from that Card, even you have the old card in your wallet. (You must be knowing how Internet transactions is being done)

Axis Bank really has an awful credit card service. The employees of the said department of the bank are not only nagging when it comes to their never ending queries, but also ill mannered when it comes to answering calls of the customers. I was offered agold credit card ond declinrd also.The reason is really unknown to me as I fulfill all criterions. Is there anybody who can tellme why it was declined. I am, by the way, acustomer of the said bank.

I wants make credit cards at axis bank
Same happened with me too. They approached me to take up a platinum card. Wasted my time in filling up useless forms and submitting huge documents. Then came the verification calls (same as in your case).

Then finally after 10-12 days - a rejection sms, I think the are only collecting personal data to supply to other telecom companies. No interest in the credit card business.

I think they should rewrite their vision to: "Becoming the most pathetic financial solutions provider excelling in customer harassment through poor insight, uneducated employees and a waste of technology.
