[Resolved]  Axis Remit — No direct contact, money not returned

I have been using AXIS REMIT for sometime now. There are two major deficiencies with this bank:

1. There is no contact number to call from Australia. You can only communicate by email & the response is only automated and there is no individual to talk to. I have deposited some money which was not sent to the beneficiary and Axis Bank simply closed the transaction without a proper explanation by simply stating "no payment will be made to any beneficiary in lieu of this particular transaction". Added to that the money has not been returned till now. It has been 12 days so far, I do not know how much longer I will have to wait.

2. On their website, their FAQs state that you can send money to any Axis Bank account. Yet when I sent money to an Axis Bank account, it was rejected. This is very frustrating!

This bank really needs to improve a lot.

Hi Mate.. I am in the same boat.. its been more than 12 days now .. and the money hasnt come due to siome mismatch in name.. I am from australia as well.. the bank is not responding and money has not been returned to me.. plesae confirm if your money was sent back to you.. will never use this again.. going back to ICICI or SBI..

I have transferred the money from France. And I am facing similar issue. Status in axisremit website is displayed as Money Awaited.

Please tell me how you resolved the issue ? Did u at least got your money back ? I am feeling helpless... please help me.
