I purchase car insurance policy from bajaj allianz thrg berkshire --insurance policy number og[protected] amt paid rs16579. They told me if i accept voluntary excess 2500 then no compulsory deductible, but when policy received compulsory deductible amt 1000 seen. I send many mail & calls but Refund not received yet.As company using money so i wl approach to consumer court. Pl avoid purchasing on net or phone any policy==warning for all customer==deshmukh M. I am writing to you as a very dissatisfied customer of yours…. I had my car insurance expire on October 13th. I requested renewal on 14th. I was requested to send my RC copy, which I did on the same day… attachment 1.

Post that, there was no reply from Berkshire despite repeated reminders…. Attachment 2 and mulitple phone calls later, I decided to renew it online since the quotation was valid till November 2012.

I made the payment on the website on October 18th. I did not get any reply from them despite having called them and sent mulitple emails. Attachment 3. This is when I decided to raise a complaint with Bajaj Allianz.

To my surprise, till now, there is no update on what is the status of my policy.

In the interim, on 21st, my car rear windshield glass got shattered when parked in a designated parking area in Koramangala.

I am unable to raise a claim as I still do not have a policy.

I need to get this claim attended at the earliest as I cannot be without a vehicle for long despite having paid.

Please note that I am extremely upset on this service from Berkshire and Bajaj and request immediate reddressal of the problem. Latha and Dilip from the contact center team are aware of the same. They remained courtious even though I lost my temper and really want to appreciate their help as I know it is not their fault.

However, someone needs to take ownership and fix this issue for me right away.

I would appreciate if you could call me to discuss this further @ [protected]. BTW, I have been promised a callback from Latha at 3PM and will wait for her call and update you if the call came or not.
