[Resolved]  Bajaj Allianz — Not received my Car Insurance Policy

I had to renew my car policy from Bajaj Allianz . hence I called them. One person came and issued me an invitation of renewal which had some figures for Car Insurance policy. We agreed to that and on the next day when he came to collect my cheque he told me that I have to give him increased ammount as their calculation was wrong.
Hence i called their customer support executives and understood what the exact ammount I need to pay. I agreed to that and handed cheque to the their representative on 10-Apr-09. Since then i had not received my policy. Today is 21-April-09. I have not even received a cover note which is rediculous. the person who took cheque from me said that the policy will be issue in 4 working days. hence I dont need cover note. My policy was about to expire on 18-April-09.
It then happend that I started calling Bajaj Allianz(BA). No one was knowing what is the status of my policy. then I received a call from Prabhadevi office. The Branch Manager -Ms Nita Tolani said that she dont know the status of my policy. The only question I asked he was that i am insured after 18th April. She was not ready to tell me even that. She said the receipt that I have got from the BA is quite enough if I show that to Policemen. That was weird. Then she gave me a reason that I had not put date on my cheque .I understood that there is no was i can argue with her. She then assured me that she will call me in little time. On asking her what she means by little time. She said me that It means next day. Look the answer that aBranch manager is giving to its customer. The next day I again called Pune office and from their I found that the cheque was unable to scan properly hence my polcy had got delayed. But my cheque had got cleared on 16th April itself. So there is a big hole in their network. and we customers suffer. I have still not get policy, even though I am being assured by the manager in Pune that I will atelast get a soft copy on mail. and then the hard copy will be sent to me in next 2 -3 working days.
Kindly look in to this mess...

I NOT RECEIVED MY TWO WHEELAR VEHICLES(KINETIC 4S SCHOOTER) ORIGINAL POLICY DOCCUMENT. I TAKE MY POLICY ON MONTH OF AUGUST 09. PL. SEND MY ORIGINAL POLICY DOCCUMENT.
Hi,

I spoke to Mr. Phillip from sales dept regarding my car insurance policy and was given an assurance that policy will be renewed in 24 hrs and with quote of 3175rs.

After sending the required documents and making the payment on Friday, 28th May I was assured that I will get soft copy of Insurance within 24 hrs. The person from the accounts dept Mr. Dattaraj refused to give me any receipt on mail. And gave me his contact no as mobile no. which I presume is his personal no and now he refusing to pick up the phone.
He gave me a call back and said he will get back in 15 mins and since then there is no response. I tried his number many times but he is not picking up the phone.

My policy expires today and I will not be in condition to drive the car from tomorrow.

I have made several other attempts to connect to branch office and head office however phone just keeps on passing from pillar to post or is hung up. Finally could speak to Mr. ganesh and he says that he is not from the dept but will try to send the policy by today evening.

This is a serious mis-management and lethargic attitude from Bajaj Allianz.
