Barclay card — priority circle amount not cancelled
My Barclaycard no.[protected]I am not given the permision to give me priority circle but it is given me and i am also call in Barclay card P.O BOX 115677 nariman point Mumbai 21call center around nine time in Barclay card call center. But no one replay it . many time I also email it .but I don’t recive any replay . I request to you solve my problem & cancelled amount.

Barclaycard Priority Circle — Credit amount with out consent
i had got a call from a executive of barclays priorty circ they explained to me of a scheme. they told that they will send a document which i need to read sign and send back then only they will activate this scheme.it was agreed upon but after a month they didnt' send any document but add 6734 Rs to my credit card and they are saying that i should pay for this. I asked them to reverse the amount but they are not showing any interest for the same card no. [protected]

We are very upset while writing this complaint to you regarding mishandling of Customers’ account and sentiments. You may see the below e-mail of our Ms. Poonam Singh which is self explanatory. You can see how a small issue of non-delivering a statement of account to the Customer rose to dissatisfaction towards your bank of international repute. The facts of the matter are as under:-
We had got a Credit card from your bank for availing facilities available thru Yatra.com.
The bank has not sent us very first statement of account instead started charging Late payment fees, Interest and Service tax etc. On asking, we have been provided a statement of account by your representative after the due date showing outstanding balance of Rs. 10540/- (Sheet no. 6 enclosed).
We deposited a sum of Rs.10540/- immediately on receipt of above said statement of account, thru your representative (Mr. Divakar) vide your receipt no. 46110 dated 13th June, 2008.
Your bank has again started calling Mr. Sanjay Talwar, our Managing Director day and night and started troubling for non payment of dues without knowing the fact that the due amount has already been deposited by Mr. Sanjay Talwar.
We lodged our protest, once again, to your bank vide below mail of our Ms. Poonam Singh, Chief Secretary to Mr. Sanjay Talwar.
Thereafter your bank has sent us demand of Rs.11754/- including Late payment fees, Interest and Service tax etc. of Rs.1214/-.
We have deposited the above said amount of Rs. 11754/- without disputing as to who is responsible for not presenting the original cheque of Rs. 10540/-. The real fact was that the cheque was not presented at your end.
Over and above this, we have now again being asked us to deposit a payment of Rs.4603.29 (showing opening balance of Rs. 3783.33) vide your statement dated 17th January, 09 (FINAL NOTICE) without informing any details of the same. The said final notice is also stated that;
“Your credit facility has been withdrawn. Pls. pay Rs. 4603.29 immediately. You have now been negatively registered with the credit bureau.”
You can now see the limit, how do expect business from good customers like Mr. Sanjay Talwar who is the CMD of our Company having annual turnover of more than 100 Crores. Your bank has also offered us credit limits which we declined only because of above issue.
We have now no choice with us except to approach you as a last resort. We hope you will take appropriate action against your culprit employees and arrange to delete the demand raised on us and also refund our earlier late payment and other charges amounting to Rs. 1214/- on top most priority.
Further we request you to cancel the above said credit card and confirm.

Barclays Bank card — Non delivery of priority circle Documents and non refund of the amount charged for the same.
Credit card no [protected]:regarding member ship of Priority Circle . I had requested to cancel the membership since I did not need it and though it was promosed that it will be free but I was chaeged for it through the Credit card . Ipaid certain amount demanded through an SMS since I didnot get the statement of Account till today and to prevent defaulting I paid the amount without knowing that it is towards the priority Circle . I had approached the Priotity Circle Cutomer Care requesting to cancel it but I was told that once I receive the Documents I may go theough it and cancel it .However till today I have not received any documents . I am told that since it has been delivered to Mr Khan so it has been delivered to me (Dr Dod ) . Strange are the ways of the Barclay bank . It is not understood as to how a courier agency can deliver to some one other than the addressee/Consignnee and the Barclay bank staff presumes that it has been delivered to me .Barclaycard — Mishandling of account by Barclaycard

Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your attention a long standing complaint raised with Barclays.
Having explained this issue to several associates on multiple occasions I would restate what the issue is:
Some time in the month of December’08 I received a call from your end suggesting conversion of my outstanding into EMIs of Rs. 2202 for a period of 12 months.
Having paid all my payment on time, I was happy to get the EMIs as it was a convenient way to finish off the outstanding dues.
I was suggested that I would have to pay the first installment by cheque and the rest will be deducted every month via ESC.
As agreed I paid my first dues on 13/1/09 via ICICI bank cheque, however in the month of February’09 no amount was deducted and on contacting your customer care (which is really difficult to get through) I wasn’t given any concrete answers. All I was told that this is because of the delay in processing the documents.
Then in the month of March’09 a sum was 158.53 was cleared via ECS, having questioned the same I was told that it was an adjustment against the sum paid in January and it was not something to worry about.
Then in the month of April’09 a sum was 2346.77 and subsequently a sum of Rs. 2342.96 was cleared in the month of May’09.
In this span of time I spoke with many associated from Customer Service and Collections department, innumerable times only to receive no concrete solutions or reasons from your end.
Sometimes I was informed that it will be taken up to the powers that be, on other occasions I was just laid off.
Finally I decided to contact the collection team and was able to make a note of few of my conversation with them.

These are just a few documented incidents, however the list is endless, and unlucky I was not able to document them all.
Also if you out source you customer care and collections, its high time that you give them a through QC, as they will rather are getting you bad reputation.
One thing I’ve noticed about Barclays is that incompetence, unaccountability and Rudeness are acquired qualities of almost every single individual – Do you people have a special training for this? The executives are prompt to disconnect the call, yell back at the customer and to refuse to listen to what the other person has to say. Having been a Business Process Coach in an international BPO, I can say that this is not the way a customer is treated. Perhaps being in India makes a multinational bank underperform and awards you the right for bad customer service.
On every single occasion I asked for a manager, I was given a standard answer “all the seniors are in a meeting” or “the managers have other business to take care of, they are not free to talk to the customers”; you guys surely work hard up there. And the no. of missed calls I get in a day are story unto themselves, either you have a really outdated and virus infested systems or your execs are faltering on their KRAs (beware).
Finally getting tired of the apathy of Barclays Officials I decided to stop the ECS via my bank, this seems to be the only way to get your attention.
I sincerely request you to resolve this issue as soon as possible so that I can finish off the installments and get over with the payments. If you check my records, I have been fairly regular in my payments, except for the past two payments which was a deliberate action.
Looking forward for your co operation so that we can reach an acceptable solution which will provide a solution to end this dispute.

What I would like to know is, if there's any legal action I can take against them to get the matter sorted out, How does this affect my Cr. rating where as I have had excellent relationship with other Cr. Card cos. and banks apart from Barclaycard.
