[Resolved] Bharti Axa — Agents policies name of IRDA | |||
Bharti AXA agents selling policies name of IRDA in Kolkata. Suman Chakarborty and me (Meghnad Mahata) has lodge complain and name investigation Bharti AXA is doing nothing. Please find the 2-scaes as below. Please advice me what I can do next. Dear Sir/Madam, I, Meghnad Mahata, son of Late Akash Chandra Mahata residence of Nayak Para, Dubrajpur, Birbhum anticipating a fraud regarding private life insurance company agents. I have following Bajaj Allianz policies under Standard Chartered Bank investment guidance - Policy number [protected] issued on 28/05/2006 Policy number [protected] issued on 14/01/2008 Policy number [protected] issued on 04/12/2007 The above investments were not running healthy & I wrote a mail to them to close the policy and refund back my money. I have also tried to contact IRDA & Insurance Ombudsman to resolve this issue, but unfortunately got no response. In the month of June, I received a call from[protected] from an unknown person representing him as staff from IRDA. He acknowledged my concern regarding non-performing Bajaj-Allianz policies & assured me that my issues will be correctly addressed. Few days later, I received another call from mobile number [protected], by a person who claimed his name as Ujan Chakraborty. He told me that he is an IRDA official & appointed as relationship official to take care my issues. He assured me the following - - My non-performing Bajaj Allianz policies will be closed and amount to be refunded within next 2 financial years. - I will receive my entire previously invested amount back with more than 10% interest. - I have to invest Rs.20,000, Rs 25,000 & an additional Rs.30,000 in Bharti AXA life insurance. - This investment will be based on secure government funds & there will be no risk. - The respective IRDA documents will soon be available to me mentioning my entire receivable amount. After few days, a person from Bharti AXA, named Bhaskar Roy, contacted me on this regard & informed that they have received an instruction from IRDA for opening a policy to resolve my issues. I got few details about him from my Bharti AXA policy pares - - Agent Name - Bhaskar Roy (B.R) - Financial Advisor Code - [protected] - Corporate Agent Code – [protected] On the basis of conversations over phone, I agreed to pay those amounts to Bharti AXA Life insurance company. A Bharti AXA payment collection agent came & collected the cheque from my office address at - IXIA Technologies Pvt Ltd 8th Floor, Block-GP, Infinity Tower II, Sector-V, Saltlake, Kolkata-700091 The following cheque were drawn by me to Bharti AXA - HSBC Cheque of amount Rs.20,000/-, 25,000/- and 30,000/- respectively My Bharti AXA Life insurance details are as follows - Policy no.[protected] issued on Sep 14, 2010 with premium Rs.15,000/- Policy no.[protected] issued on Sep 14, 2010 with premium Rs.15,000/- Policy no.[protected] issued on July 20, 2010 with premium Rs.25,000/- Policy no.[protected] issued on July 20, 2010 with premium Rs.20,000/- Till September I have repeatedly asked to send me the IRDA documents and all such assurances being committed by them initially over phone. In the month of October when I tried to follow up them over the mobile number [protected], they misguided me in several ways like:- - The concerned person is absent - They started responding with different names - They prompted me wrong mailing addresses Finally 4th October, 2010 onwards, whenever I tried to reach them over the same mobile number, it's denying my call. I have also tried the number[protected] but it’s not accepting any call. Due to job-change, I moved to Gurgaon (11-Oct-2010) and not able to get any information. Sir, anticipating a fraud and forgery by some unknown racket introducing them as IRDA agents and officials, I would like to request you to kindly investigate the issue. I need to take my investment amount back to me. Please let me know how you can help me. My friend Suman Chakraborty victim of same fraud and made complain (as mail below). I have following TATA AIG policies under HSBC investment guidance - Policy number U[protected] issued on 26/04/2006 with agent code 659477 Policy number U[protected] issued on 06/05/2009 with agent code 4093077 The above investments were not running healthy & I wrote a mail to them to close the policy and refund back my money. I have also tried to contact IRDA & Insurance Ombudsman to resolve this issue, but unfortunately got no response. In the month of April, I received a call from[protected] from an unknown person representing him as staff from IRDA.
