[Resolved]  Big Bazaar, Koryo Electronics — AC not in working condition from first day

I have purchased AC on 1st May 2009 and yet not started. They were not able to deliver. The fitting charges told were lesser than what they charged. The exhaust of AC was of another model and had to replace. Now after all connection when we switched on its not working. Its really a harrasment. I had also purchased cooler with AC that also had to replace on very first day

I HAVE A SENSEI 1 TON SPLIT AC. NO COOLING.
SERVICEEMAN CAME AFTER 6 DAYS OF COMPLAINT. SIAD GAS HAS LEAKED. CAME BACK AFTER 9 DAYS TO REFILL GAS.

I COMPLAINED THAT AC IS NOT WORKING. THE SERVICE ENGINEER SAID WE HAVE TO REINSTAAL THE COMPUTER SO FRESH CHARGES AND YET THE MAN HAS NOT COME.

WE ARE FOOLED BY THE BIG BAZAAR.
I AM GOING TO TAKE THEM TO THE COURT.

I have purchase an A.C. in August 2010 but it is not giving cooling. Even installation person fooled me by not doing work properly, so i called him twice. I want to service the same.
Koryo Microwae gifted to us in the year 2008 August (friends purchased in Big Bazar, Hyderabad), but unfortunately we could not get a chance to use it till October 2010.

We observed that the microwave is not working (power not coming) when opened for the first time. We gave a complaint to the call center ([protected]) on October 7, 2010. Service center people (From Koryo service center Attapur, Hyderbad Phone: [protected]) Haneef and Aleem ([protected]) took the microwave on October 27, 2010.

We have contacted call center for the status more than 20 times and service center for more than 30 times, but there is no response from their end.

Now the service center people are telling us that the contract between the service center and the company (Koryo) has been terminated and we need to contact some other person (Shyam Sunder) in Maredpalli, Hyderabad service center.

There is no proper response from call center, company and service center after such complaint, it is very negligence of company.

Please help me in this regard.

one of the worst company I have ever come across, I bought a geyser, within one year it stopped functioning, when we call the call center very poor response, please do not even enter big bazaar outlet as this company is conning people.
I purchased Koryo microwave oven from e-zone, Hyderabad in August, 2009 with two years warranty. I used it for only limited time and some 6 months ago it stopped working. I complained Koryo two months ago and one person came and took some defective part. So far, he did not turn up. Whenever I call him he says that he be coming in two days! Worst ever service I have experienced from this bloody Koryo company. Can anyone advice me how to approach Consumer Court? I want to sue e-zone and Koryo company for cheating people.

purchased Koryo split ac from from big bazar with one years warranty and compressor 5 years warrenty. I used it for only 2 year last 1 months ago it stopped working. I complained Koryo one months ago and one person came and took some into the matter and he told me that ac's gas is finish so pls refill gas. nex two or three days two techn. came in my house and install the gas then he on the ac is not working properly tech. taked from me 1500 rs. cash and they told me your compressor is not work. he did not turn up. Whenever I call him he says that he be coming in two days! Worst ever service I have experienced from this bloody Koryo company. Can anyone advice me how to approach Consumer Court? I purchased coffee maker from Big Bazaar for my friend's wedding. Imagine the whole thing going wrong on the first day of his married life with the coffee maker failing to work. He had to call the service center during his honeymoon with no response. Fed up he just dumped the coffee maker and also my friendship. Stupid stuff sold by Big Bazaar. They are fooling us. A reality check to everyone. There are no salesman in these Koryo counters. Look like BB has come to know its mistake which makes a deep hole in our poket and heart
AC (KORYO ) not in working condition from first day: I had also purchased AC in Dec 2010 which is not working from the same day. Despite regular follow up with the companies call centre ([protected]/[protected] and Big Bazar, Thane ( Dealer ) . No remedial action taken so far and my family is compelled to suffer in this scorching heat. I wrote the following letter to Big Bazar warning them to take the matter with consumer forum but with no result.

"Dear Sir,

We have been regular customer of Big Bazar for last 5 years . Infact most of our domestic appliances and furniture have been purchased thru’ Big Bazar including 2 Air Conditioners and recently third one has been purchased thru’ you . The management has also been most considerate for us so far, being a loyal customer of Big Bazar.

The third AC was purchased on 4 Dec 2010 vide Cash Memo Number T26/97786 and Delivery Chalan Number of Big Bazar 069.

Installation services are offered free with Koryo appliance, as such we waited for service engineer form KORYO to attend the commissioning call at free of Charge . We tried a number of times for service support since Dec first week but Koryo Services Engineer could manage to visit in the last week of Feb 11, during his visit he suggested few modifications in the window for the installation of Air Conditioner.

Air Conditioner was finally installed on 27 Feb 11 by him, but he failed to make it operational . The same Engineer, who installed it, confirmed that the piece is having manufacturing defect and suggested to take up for replacement with Big Bazar.

Subsequently a request for replacement of AC was made to Big Bazar and as per the advise given we registered complains thru’ Koryo call centre vide complain number 301442 .

After registering the complain and a couple of follow ups with Commissioning / Service Engineer ( [protected]), Service support Managers from Koryo ( Mahesh Chauhan ( [protected]), Pillai ([protected])) . The same Commissioning engineer, who installed the AC, re- visited to attend the service complain and again suggested to pursue Big Bazar for replacement of the Unit.

My parental problem is that the AC in question has been installed in my children room ( all below 12 years ) and it is difficult for them to live in the room without AC in this scorching heat of Mumbai. You will appreciate that it is difficult for parents to sleep in AC while the children sleep without it.

In view of your apathy, to redress my grievance promptly, I may be compelled to take recourse to the consumer forum incase redressal is not made immediately.

BIG BAZAAR — KORYO ELECTRONICS AC NOT WORKING

I PURCHASED KORYO MAKE AC FROM BIG BAZAR, AHMEDABAD ON 8-5-11.
CRM REF. 5/7/2010 AHSCOJ-AC22542 DATED 8-5-11.
HOWEVER THE SAME HAS STOPPED WORKING.
KORYO SERVICE CENTRE AT SETELLITE, AHMEDABAD HAS BEEN CLOSED DOWN.
THOUGH AC IS UNDER GUARRANTEE PERIOD, I AM UNABLE TO GET THE SERVICE.

Air Conditioner- SENSEI — NOT COOLING

I purchase split AC of your homebrand SENSEI vide advance receipt no:[protected] dted10thMay2010. and 1st servicing was done by your service center(it was also delayed) but second service within a year which is due before 10thMay 2011 was not done by ur service center, at all. Now the same AC is not cooling beyond 5 min. of starting. Moreover its external unit fan also rotating in very slow speed.

Absolutely no cooling since last 3/4 weeks.Please arrange for your sevice person visit immidiately which is overdue.

I have purchased a home theatre of Koryo brand at big bazaar Mangalore and it had a problem on the first day. I asked bigbazaar but they said they cant exchange it but i have to take it to the service. when I sent it to the service centre in mangalore they kepty it for 3 weeks and returned without repair as I had to travel abroad. This time I gave it again and they kept it for one month and returned without repair as I came on one month vacation. The responsible guy Mr. Abdul talks rudely an, d I dont want to keep this item without working. So iam going to throw it at bigbazaar.

I suggest NOT TO TAKE any KORYO products as they are worst than chinese items and the service is ZERO.

Videocon / Air coolers — Air cooler not working

Kindly note that I have purchased Kenstar vibrant CIC T9924 on 2nd May-11 , ( Invioce no 83, book 2 ) from wellcome house Ghaziabad UP.

The above collar is not working from the date of purchase .

I am profession by engineers & taken feedback from service engineer that this coolar has some manufacturing defect.

Please note that it was my horrible experience with Videocon (KENSTAR).

Every time when i operate the coolar its blower blades are not moving I have loged many complaints but no replacement made by videocon

I PURCHASED A KORYO MICROWAVE from Big Bazaar, Noida on 01/01/2010. It stopped working on 18 July 2011 after which I filed a complaint No 332206 on 19th July. A representative came on the 21st and informed that the magnetrom had to be replaced and as the microwave carries a 2 year warranty, it would be done within 8-10 days. I have been repeatedly calling up the customer care to no avail. Its going to be a month since it conked off. It is indeed a one time sale both for the Big Bazaar and the Company. Do we still have to bear the brunt of these companies and the shopping giants? isn't it time that we too stand up for what is rightly our right and teach these people not to mess with the masses? I sincerely advise people not to touch Koryo or any other products that they may offer.

Koryo is a fraud company. Even chinese appliances are better than koryo. The service is only for name sake. company and people in service. They cant even get the parts for repair. They talk rudely when we ask for exchange! They just stealing the money from the poor people. They will not last for long. Soon they are going to shut the company.

So people dont buy any Koryo products. I amnot against Big bazaar. I get good service from bigbazaar. But because of this Koryo company Bigbazaar is loosing its name. Hope they will take necessary action soon.

Ihave purchased a KORYO 1.5 TON AC in april 2010. in 14 mnts of time it had a issue for cooling. i had called the koryo person to check about this issue . they told me there is a gas issue, it has decreased so there is less cooling.
I was surprised about the same within 14 mnt how can a gas issuse arise.
they have till date nt given me 2 nd free service also.
the worst service they provide with useless product

1. AFTER PURCHASE OF AC I WAS NOT GIVEN MY INVOICE COPY, THE PERSON TOLD ME THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE IT AFTER COMPLETING THE INSTALMENTS. I INQUIRED FOR THE SAME YOUR EXECUTIVE TOLD ME IT WAS SUPPOSSED TO BE COLLECTED DURING THE DEAL.i have delivery chalan for the same

4.TWO MONTHS PRIOR I HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE COOLING EFFECT OF MY AC. KORYO PERSON CHECKED AND TOLD ME THE QUANTITY OF GAS IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO GIVE COOLING EFFECT. GAS HAT TO BE FILLED.I WANT OT KNOW DO YOU THINK THAT WITHIN 14 MONTHS A AC WILL FACE GAS PROBLEM.I HAVE A LG AC FOR LAST 2.5 YRS I HAVE NOT FACED THE PROBLEM WITH IT.THE KORYO PERSON SAY THEY WILL CHARGE 1800 RS FOR THE SAME. I have purchased Koryo Microwave oven.. It is cooking unevenly... One side cooking other side kacchha..I have complained in August 2011 on their helpline... Still no response.. Then I wrote mail on 3rd Sept... Their person came twice and agreed there is problem. Today again their senior person came and saw that there is problem o[censored]neven coking but he chose to ignore it. He said that there is no problem.. This is absolute cheating..

hiii guyss.. rather posting complaint on this site..what you can do is a file a lawsuit in consumer court with the proof and let close the chapter of big bazaar and lets welcome walmart as they have a different way of selling..they dnt sell dreams..they sell happiness with convinience...
big bazaar all rotten stuff in bulk from the providers and sell it for profiting amount.. dnt blame videocon or koryo..they are good brands..its just that they are not in a limelight..the players behind this is the retail and supply chain management..i hope you guys step out of the house and take the charge..
I purchased koryo room heater (blower) 3 yrs ago and i am fully satisfied with this product. it is still working very well.No problem at all.
I too face almost like what you faced, I purchased one Koryo make 1.5 ton AC from E-zone of Manny Square, Kolkata on 07.03.2012. They promised to deliver the material my 09.03.2012, but no one bothered to call me to inform that they are not delivering the material on that date, after that they lied me about their delivery schedule, for which i had to wait for one week, when their engineer came to install the AC, they said, the indoor unit is not O.K. it is a used one and damaged one. So, i have decided not to buy anything from Future Group - E-Zone. They are not a company to rely on.
