[Resolved]  Bigc Mobiles — Very poor customer support - worst product

4 months back, we have bought C-Tel mobile from BigC at Habsiguda. They told us that it is from Big-C and we guarantee for the product and we are responsible for any services.

I have faced many issues and I have given for service four times so far.
Service people are taking minimum one week to 10 days.

Recently I have given for service in a dead condition on 2/Sep/2009. They told so many reasons without any clarity and finally returned me today noon. So they took more than 10 days this time.

After the delivery, they told me that the battery is not working we will send that for servicing.
What nonsense is this? Again I have to wait for 10 days and follow-up with you people to collect it back.

So I spoke to Habsiguda branch incharge (don't know his name). I asked to give me a written commitment that it never repeats and if there is any problem within 2 months, you need to replace the handset.
He spoke to many people (upper management I hope) and told me that they cannot do anything like that. I have to live with it.

I spent 2 hours today morning to get this disappointed message. I had to shout on him and had to leave in bad situation.

Is this what Big_C offers to customers? I happened to see one more customer came with similar issue on C-Tel mobile yesterday.

This is really very bad and few old customers realized your poor service.

hi..i want the customer care or head office phone number sir..
In my case more pity.
I bought ONIDA F 850 model with a price tag of Rs 6300/- on 3rd March 2009.
Within a week the problem with hand set and the same was handed over in service centre.
After a couple of days, the same was returned.
Again in the month of April 2009, since the camera was not functioning properly, the set was handed over in service centre. No improvements.
Later FM stations were not worked.
Finally after the dead line for IMEI numbers as per directions of Government of India, my second sim had not worked stating that my set contains fake IMEI number.
This was happened in the month of November 2009.
The set was given in the service centre. The set was kept from 02/12/2009 to 03/01/2010 i.e nearly one month.
As a new year gift, the service people had returned the set and issued instructions to the shop where from the hand set was purchased to replace it.
Since then the shop people, in PUNJAGUTTA, are playing games with me stating that no such model is available and are asking me to pay Rs 1000/- more to get another set.
This is my fate.
I contemplate to sue the fellows

dear sir, big c has got one of the worst coustumer support i have ever seen..they not only cheat u but do not reply to ur queries or atleast respond...i purchased a 4 gb memory card from a bigc showroom in vijayawada.they took from me 850rs inspite of their website showing clearly that its cost is only 450rs.so i called them as cheating was obvious..but their response was horrific.they not only denied the fact of doing it but spoke in a harsh way and hung up the line.not only on this ocasssion but on several, thier staff do not respond to u.i think there is no use of taking this to head office..plz reply.
Big C is the worst customer service. I have given mobile C-Tel on 5th july for service, they have told me that they wil return the mobile in good condition with in a week, but they given after 20 days, after i follow up them for several times. After getting to my home from service, ther is no signal connectivity, and again they are saying to me that come tomorrow or day after-two-morrow like that. Iam very frustated with their services. it has happen in Begumpet Big C which is beside Anand theater.
i have buy sony erisccon w205 on 19 aug from BIG C MOBILE from RTC X ROAD, after coming to home no sound from incoming and outgoing can be listen, i request you to exchange the phone or give the amount.
Yes, this is true, I purchased a Sony (Sony MH-650 Wired HeadSet 3.5mm Jack) HeadSet worth 1500/- from Big-C Kiran Arcades, S.P.Road, Near CTC. Hyderabad, it was a defective piece (I think they knew about this), the warranty period was upto 1 year. I went back after 3 days and asked them to replace with another piece. They gave me another (defective) piece. The same repeated, then the manager accepted that it was a defective piece for which he did not have any more replacements. He asked me for some time while he get other brand produce worth the same price promising me to resolve my issue. When I wen't back It was same again they did not have any other piece nor did they have anything to close the issue.

It has been one month since I purchased the product which is of no use to me. The Manager Promised me to return my money back, but he is gone missing, not picking up my call. The Manager promised me to return my money but since he is missing, and even the customer care guys are not responding back. I have no option other than filing a case in consumer forum, I will do drag the matter to where ever possible and teach them for this.
