Hi woulds suggest to launch a complaint to the RBI (www.rbi.org.in), and ask for their guidelines.
Tell them we are the citizen of India and there is a potential risk of financial loss since the funds would move out off india (49, 500 rs) and the Indian government will lose money in term of foreign exchange and tax revenue which would be an asset to the Indian surplus account. i think we are anyways going to lose nothing if we don't receive the award, rather think off the country and get them involved in a fight against fraud.

Have Anyone took a step beyond this or informed regulatory authority, as if they quote its Diplomatic Consignment then should not be having problems dealing Govt Authorites .and another thing i noticed the mail from which they have been sending this mail is from hotmail.com . had they been geunine they would have had correct domain related ip address . like [protected]@rbs.com . I too received such a SMS on my mobile and then mail from the British Communications & a confirmation from the Royal Bank of Scotland. This is ridiculous and a scam against the Indians. I have requested the Authorities to investigate in the matter.

I received a message to my mobile number that i have received a prize of 850, 000 GBP in the 2009 BT Promo Award i have also received a certifcate that i'm the winner so please advise whether it is true that British telecommunication plc conducted this survey, also please tell whether i'm the winner of the prize amount of 850, 000. GBP... they are charging me RS 45, 100 INR.
Please advise whether this is a fake or i can proceed with the receiveing of the prize.So i am also confused wether this is fake or real and I also have the same question which you have asked.

British Telecommunication PLC London — winning mobile draw
HiAs i have recd the cash prize from BT telecommunication ******* & they r telling that they i have desposited my chk to PLC london HSBC bank but now bank has been asking for Sworn affidavit of claim from british crown court of london and need to pay them 40,000 Indian currency for it . as i would like to no is it true or fake of such draw of getting prize or not
pls tell what to do
