[Resolved] Chennai RPO — Passport delay | |||
There are many complaints reg. Passport issue delay and a well known bribing issues during police verification. Does this site address any issues, can we find a remedy ? A terrorist will get passport easily but a genuine Indian citizen need to undergo great stress and pain to get a passport. A great tragedy. I'm one person in that tragic situation waiting for a passport for months now. Will the goverment abolish police verification and find a alternative genuine verification process. I am N.RAGHU from neyveli (cuddalore dt). i applied passport in passport office at cuddalore on 25th June 2010 and police verification was done two months before, but yet know i didnt receive my passport. pls kindly do the needful so that it will be helpful for me to build my future regards. please help me sir

I would like to complaint against my passport delay while i'm going to travel to UAE for job, i had applied my passport on 03/04/2014 at Chennai but still my status is showing "Police Verification Report for your passport application is under review at Regional Passport Office. After Police Verification Report is found clear, passport will be dispatched. You would receive an sms/e-mail once the passport is dispatched"
