[Resolved] Club Mahindra Holidays — Double Subscription fees | |||
Hi, My club Mahindra Membership Number is 286398 I tried to make a payment on 15th Sep which gave error on Club Mahindra site but still a payment is taken from my credit card: 15th Sep Citibank transaction ID: 411535 payment taken on: 17th sep I tried to make payment on 16th Sep which was successful: 16th Sep Citibank transaction ID: 380090 Payment taken on: 19th sep I sent a number of emails to Club Mahindra to ask why 2 payments were taken. They are saying that only 1 payment has been taken. I'm not sure who to blame, Citibank or Club mahindra? Regards, Meghna Was this information helpful? | |||

Believing them, I filled the form and gave the required cheques to them on 1st December 2008.
I did not receive till 7th March 2009 (more than 3 months after filling the form and giving the money) any photocopy, no Sony LCD TV, no RCI membership documents, no cheques of Rs 5000, no verification call etc. I called up the office in Lucknow at [protected] on 8th January where my call was transferred to a lady. She told that all the queries will be sorted out by Monday as 9th and 10th January being second Saturday and Sunday respectively. Nothing happened. When I called up again, the person on [protected] told that he will look into the matter tomorrow.

The phrase 'I will look into the matter tomorrow and everything will be ok' has been told to me at least 10 times by different people on different phones - [protected], [protected], [protected], etc.
At the time of filling the form of membership, I was feeling proud to be associated with the company (all that was probably because of the misleading false claims made by Mr. Deepak and his colleagues) and was thinking of joy-filled vacations ahead; now I seem embarrassed to even suggest to any of my friend that I have joined club Mahindra.

Therefore, I requested the company and sent a written request to their chennai office to cancel the membership and refund my money and cancel all the future ECS deductions, and take action against the people in your company responsible for this irresponsible behavior.
Even after a written request the company did not cancel the membership and instead sent the request for next month's deductions from my bank account. I had not even availed of any of the services or enjoyed the vacations.
Then one day a person from the company calls in the month of april around 22nd, and tells to continue the membership as i would never get the money and asked me to reach to their goa resort within two days from agra to avail of the vacation in this hot month. He told that many ministers, film actors, television actors have got stuck with this company. even making a consumer court case will not help as the company is very powerful and i will not win.
So, this is my genuine suggestion to one and all to never think of joining this company and loose your hard earned money.
