[Resolved] Dell — DELL laptop - Pathetic Customer Service at Service Centre (Bhubaneswar - India) | |||
Hi Sir, This is regarding my Dell Inspiron N4010 Laptop Service Code: [protected] Service Tag: 8VN5CQ1 Battery No: KR - 08NH[protected]R-E6KP-A00 Made in China DP/N 08NH55 I bought the laptop in 2011 from Hyderabad,India but around 3 months back heating problem started in it and one day it stopped working. I went to the Dell Service center in Bhubaneswar,India on 10th July,2013(Spectrum Technology,Plot no.124,near Alok Bharti Tower, Sahid Nagar,Bhubaneswar,India),they told me that there is a problem in BIOS and took INR 2,000 for repairing it .They gave me laptop back after repairing it on 16th July,2013. On 29th July,2013 it stopped working again. I went to them after taking leave from my office and without further probing the issue they said i have to again submit INR 4,000. They also took back my old payment receipt(INR 1,500) saying that we do not give payment receipts to our customers . When i asked for it they me told me that my name is in their database and they will definitely address the issue only when i again make a payment of INR 4,000. When i asked for my old receipt they started shouting on me.They refused to hear and even misbehaved badly with me and my friend. They even refused to give me any receipt for the payment I made and any written proof of resolution. Sorry to say that but such misbehavior from a world class company is non-tolerable. I would therefor request you to provide the solution for the below mentioned requests: 1.It is not possible for me to shell out money after every 15 days for my laptop without getting a receipt of my payment. Please provide me some genuine and lasting solution for my laptop. Please provide me the details of a reliable service center in Bhubaneswar, India who at least know how to address the concerns of a dell customer. 2.Please cancel the certificate of that service center. They don’t even know how to behave with customers. They are cheating the customers by charging huge amounts without giving any payment receipts. I fully agree with the statement. With my wrong delivery of order acknowledgement IN[protected] dated Feb 18 2011 and order No[protected] with delivery on 28th Feb 2011 it was informed on the next day for the wrong delivery and replacement. After waitnig for a week the system was taken to Domlur counter from where the order was placed. The reply from Senoir Managaer Nr Sunil was that it will be replaced with a new kit or system was sson as it arrives The new Kit with one date skipped was declared arrived on 31 st Mar 2011. It was informed that it will take 20 working days to replace. It is now 25 th Apr No sign of any activity even after mailing the pickup declaration 8day s before. ie APR 16 2011. No assurance of the promises made. No accountability in declaring the right date for the delivery. The system is not usable and the total money is waste without any use. I wishmy feeling is that to claim the interest for these days from date of payment, the transportation charges for taking the system to Domlur counter and returning. I wish to inform the police and the consumer court for this negligent act from DELL domlur counter.
Never buy Dell. Your bad times start once you buy Dell. One of the worst service and computers they have got. I had too much tension and wasted a lot of time trying to repair my laptop.

DELL INDIA — Pathetic Customer Support
Requested for a quotation one week ago for a battery for a Dell notebook. It was promised this would be emailed in 48 hours; never got it. Was put on hold by customer care for totally an hour (called twice) without being connected to the concerned department. Totally frustrated. Will never buy or recommend a Dell product again. Extremely poor customer support!!!
