I have bought HD and SD connection from Dish TV . I had following problems

1) The activation tool 78 hours due to mistake of dealer. Activation took place when I had made a complaint against the dealer. Otherwise dealer did not take any proactive action.

2) I bought 2 box so that I can have multiple connection but the other connection was not activated because dealer again forgot to mention that on Subscriber form. How the hell I know ? Why don't Customer service understand why would someone pay extra when both the boxes are installed on same address.

When you cannot take care of your customer, why the hell you say you are No. 1 in India. You are worst in customer service. Please never opt for dish TV all you will have is harassment.

Dish TV — Pathetic service of dish tv

We started the process of taking Dish Tv on 4th of February 2008. This mean we made the payment at the Trans Mobile Store in Koramangala. We did not receive the instrument till 12th of February and that too when we went to the store and shouted at them. Till 12th, we were calling trans mobile store and the numbers given to us. Initially they picked up the phone, but after 3-4 calls they stopped picking up the calls.
Finally we got the instrument, but for the installation we had to wait another 6 days for the installation and a furstating procedure of calling the guys. After the installation the problem came of the activation. Fortunately it took just 3 days for the activation. I don't know whether they send some person to the satellite to do this. So, on 21st activation was done.
But, another simple problem was there. The installation was not correct and I don't know whether the problem is with the set top box or cable or antenna or the alighnment. From that day I am calling dish tv service centers, dish tv call centers. First, no one picks up the call. If you are able to talk to dish tv people, then you are one of the luckiest people. Everyday, a new guy / girl picks up the call and consoles and promises that within 24 hrs everything will be fine. But, we have got not luck.
Hey god, I have made the biggest mistake of my life of thinking Dish TV as a good product. I must have taken the Tata Sky and I will be more than "Santusht". I urge the fellow citizens of India not to buy the Dish TV otherwise you will also regret making this decision.
And please stop that , gay, shahrukh khan in promoting this product.

This is to bring to every one that please do not commit a mistake for subscribing ever to Dish TV which has got a pathetic, arrogant and disgusting service,
Their behavior is worst and monopolistic .
They act like they are doing some great favor to customers and for every small complaint they are charging and to the worst they even refuse to log a complaint i[censored] are not ready to do payment.
i definitely think surely that this country has gone to dogs .
I am ceratinly not proud of India,
Is somebody listening?
Beware if u want to subscribe for Dish TV aas they are making mockery of customers,

Subject : Defunct Services on Dish TV (VC No. [protected]

I have complained on 13th June’08 for poor services on one of the channel “ESPN” plus couple of other channels, although I was receiving 184 channels. My complaint was attended on 15th June when the service engineer “ Deepak Sharma (his mob. No. [protected]) ” came to restore those few channels but after realigning the Dish and changing software settings he told me that my set top box is faulty, I asked him to restore the same services whatever I had previously (around 184 channels) had and forget about ESPN but to my dismay he said now it will not work at all as he has tempered with “Factory Restore Settings” which he is unable to save it now. I asked him to restore because it is not my fault so he agreed to take my set top box along with VC card for repair.
Same day in the evening I got a call from one of the Dish TV Dealer “Krishna Services” (where that engineer was working) and was told that “pickup your scrap box and take it away”.

What kind of services DishTV is giving, I had paid my subscription for full one year in advance to get error free services but in spite of paying one year advance I am facing such a huge harassment. If Dish TV can’t give after sale services, why do they make tall and fake claims, Is there any service guarantee clause in the license under which Dish TV is operating.

Let me know when will I get my card and set top box back with restored services, otherwise I would be compelled to knock the doors of consumer court.

Dish TV seems to be a horrible service providor. Even with slightest rainfall it gets disconnected I do not know how it is surviving. I will surely ensure that at least none of my families, colleagues and friends purchase Dish TV even it is distributed for free and request them to spread my message to all others and ensure that atleast others are not fooled.
In deed it sucks dish tv has only Advertising department and near to no customer service.
And it seems it getting worse with growing number o[censored]sers with Adv.

Hi, I got a Dish TV connection installed at my place on nov,2010 and my VC no. is [protected]. on 5th Feb. 2011 suddenly due to bad weather, signal got dropped and signal error message started showing up on my TV. After waiting for long I did a complaint on their customer care no.[protected] on 14th Morning around 10 am and the complaint no. is 54154890. I talked to a customer care executive and she assured me that the engineer will visit my place within 24 hours. But as expected, engineer did not visit my place & the problem is still there. Then I called customer care in 18th morning and got the same response from customer care executive and given a new complain no[protected] and all day also no body visited my place. I again called customer care on evening but did not get any responsebut still i have recieved a new complain no[protected]. since I’ve launched a complaint but no body visited my place and the problem is still there. I’ve tried customer care no. 4 times since morning.

From all the above events you can easily make out the kind of harassment Dish TV customers are facing. This shows the delinquency, irresponsibility and non-courteousness of DishTV towards its customers. Even the senior management do not care about the customers, so what can we expect from the customer care executives.
You cannot play with customer’s time & money so I want you to take some serious action against all those who are involved in the whole incident and let me know the further action taken on this complaint. If you are not taking any action on this complaint then also plz let me know so that I take this forward in other way to the larger forum.

I got Dish TV connection when i purchased Samsung LCD on the time of
purchasing and installation i got the information that i m getting platinum
membership of Dish TV
But within the month i m getting very irresponsible attitude from you
people. Your customer care executive are ill-irate they did'nt know that how
to solve the problem the most important thing that senior have no guts
felling to discuss with me my problem. Within the month i m fedup about ure
service and also with making so many phone calls for registering my complain

2nd complain is after making online payment on 21st April 2011 Dish TV team stop my services & giving the reason that our account Department did not receive my payment Even I am forwarding my Bank Statement to Dish TV Customer Care but not getting fruitful result kindly take a proper action against Dish TV
And If there are any procedure for money back then plz. inform me
