[Resolved] Dna Newspaper — DNA SPECIAL SUBSCRIPTION | |||
Hello, My name is Aniruddha Malvi and I subscribed for the special DNA Newspaper Scheme, where in they are providing 2 years subscription in Rs. 250:00. I applied for the same from their website : www.dnaindia.com/subscription; after that i got a confirmation mail from them that the request has been accepted and also attached was a temporary receipt for the amount I paid. I received that email on 22nd of Feb 2011. I was waiting for more response from DNA, but after a week I called on the helpline numbers I got from there website. After calling them the first thing they told me was shocking, they said we have not received any request from your end for the subscription. I gave them all the details I had and they gave me an email id of their manager ( Pravin Kadam ) so I forwarded the temporary receipt email on that email id. But again there was no reply nor a call back about the status of the request. I was totally fed-up calling them again and again, but there was no resolution provided, so I dropped an email to all the available email id's i got from DNA website on 17th march, but even then there was no reply from DNA. I called their Mumbai Customer Care Office on 21st March morning and had conversation with the Customer Care Manager, he convinced me of personally looking into the issues and said will get back to you in 24 hrs. but again the same old story was repeated and again i called him ( today ) 23rd March and again his reply was please give me 24 hrs and will update you about the situation. I asked him to reply the email i sent, but there is still no reply over it, even after informing the Customer Care Manager number of time about replying. I am really fed-up of the services and wondering that if this is the start then what will be the future. I have been calling them day-in & day-out and there is no resolutions provided. it's like i paid them Rs.250 and my calls bill has gone now to Rs.100. I request to take a strict action against DNA Newspaper and if possible please file a personal harassment case against them from my side, I have all the required proof of the emails I received and I sent. yes buddy, I have been speaking to the Area Manager of DNA for Pune, his name is Pravin Kadam ( [protected] ) he says give me 1 more day and let u know the status, i have also asked them to atleast reply the emails which I sent, they do not even care to reply that. I think now we both should go and lodge a complain against DNA. as well as i have couple of friends in media, so they suggested to inform the RIVAL Newspaper office about thsi behaviour & hopefull they can publish it out in their newspaper and help other from not facing same issues .. also making the creditability down for DNA. cause its their benifit too.. Wht say...
I (Saurav Ghosh) am also facing same types of problem from DNA india.
I think there motive is to gather some money on behalf of the newspaper. And they are not at all ready to entertain anyone regarding this matter.They are doing campaigning, putting stalls in various places of pune and giving such fake assurance with there scheme of giving two years news paper at a rate of 249/-.
i subscribd for their newspaper on 23rd of april, 2011 and still today also there is no newspaper, no communication about the problem from DNA office.None of my friends & colleagues also received any types of news paper or the coupon for the newspaper still now.
I never thought of DNA doing this kind of fraud with people...

Hey Saurav, call Pravin Kadam ( [protected] ) and ask him the reason for not starting the paper on time, he gave us some stupid reason, that the online payment we did has not been received, for which when i sent an email to their mamba office and informed that I am going to lodge an police complaint against him, he got alert and the very next week paper was started and in next 15 days got the coupons. DNA is good, but i have also subscribed the other offer going on for Maharashtra Times ( Marathi Paper ) I gave the check ( 99/- for 1 year subscription ) and as promised by the paper dealer the paper started from 9th June. This is called as service and not the DNA people are doing.
I am member of DNA News paper since last four/five years.In dec.2011 before the renewal date(feb 2012).I given cheque Rs.199/[ for 2 years subscription i.e.[protected] and[protected]
Now I received message to ur membership is expiring in Feb.2013 so u have to pay Rs.399/- I tried to convey my problem to DNA but no one is interested.

I am kumar deshmukh cell No. [protected] member of DNA News paper since last three years.My complaint is about harassment from HDFC bank / Agency and their staff. My son send following letters to bank, but till date there is no proper solution.

This is to inform you that I had been committed for the settlement of my dues of Credit Card no [protected] by HDFC Bank officer Sangeeta [protected] for Rs 10050 out of which I did the payment of the 1st installment of 2050 on 31st October 2012 to Sandesh [protected]. I was been informed that the settlement letter will be sent within 2-3 working days and I will have to pay Rs 1000 for 8 months.
Bt I never received any letter till date and was constantly harassed for the payment through phone calls and sending various people at my residence. My dad had called Sangeeta various times and have send handwritten letter as well as emails. I am attaching the copy of the handwritten letter.
Why did she commit me for the settlement and now nobody is paying attention to my complaint ?
Now I have received a letter by the court on 22nd Jan 2013 asking me to be present on Sunday 27th Jan 2013. As I am studying out of Mumbai, my dad Mr Kumar Deshmukh will be handling the case henceforth. Sanjay Bhere [protected], Tumpa Bishwas [protected] and today 09.03.2013 Kavita Singh[protected] had called my dad today and are asking for new settlement and payment of dues for Rs 19500 but are not ready to check out about Sangeeta and the issue.
Staff of bank or Agency said that bank is already send your name is BLACK LIST and in future you are not getting any type of loan from any bank. Mistake is not made from my side so why i bear? and is it possible that they send my name in BLACK LIST?

Same situation like yours. i also subscribed on 25th Feb 2011 and till today[protected] no newspaper.
Just the difference was i paid thru Creditcard(icici), , they use Icici payemnt gateway.
Is it the consumers problem if they have some payemnt gateway errors
should they not compensate cutomers that they trouble as they only give newspaper to those who pay, right?????
i have made numerous calls to their pune office numbers dna pune 25667916/19
and spoken to prachi, menka, abhijita, asma, sakshi, ganesh in Pune office
and [protected] in Mumbai
their i have spoken to a lady called trupti and 2 to 3 other executives.
They are very rude, as first of all they have failed to comply with what they offer and then they have the audacity to ask me how they want me to have the problem solved.
Seriously I feel this Kind of service should be looked at by the concerned Govt agencies.
I just hope they get the same treatment for their requirements.
